Used 2016 Honda CR-V for sale near Highwood, IL

I was fortunate to find a used CRV in my price range at Schaumburg Honda. The sales team was very attentive, had a good understanding of my needs, and was very responsive. I ordered an extra key, and 2 days after purchase when I went to pick it up, the service dept advised I needed both Differential and Transmission fluid changed - $500! The sales department had denied the repairs when the car arrived at the dealership. However the service department advised they were needed. I was very firm with my expectations that these 2 services should have been included in the preparation for sale, and the sales team agreed. They subsequently changed both fluids. Had I not ordered that key, it would have cost me $500 at the next service appointment, and that is not right. The issue was resolved in my favor, however I'm suspicious now. If you purchase from this dealer, ask to see the full detail on the services required that were identified upon the intake of the car, and which ones were actually done in preparation for the sale.

My 2016 Honda CRV Exl has a problem with the push button is not starting until about 3 or more pushes , after each push the lights in the dash comes on with a click sound, but no start up , until several pushes.

I purchased a 2008 CL 550 that I absolutely love. It drives almost like it’s brand new despite being 18 years old. My salesman Chris went above and beyond with getting me in this car and even fixed the air conditioner on another vehicle I drove there to buy this car! I’ve never had that happen before. My future car purchases will be with him and this dealership!

This is my 3rd CRV in 15 years & it is 1 very nice, comfortable, easy car to drive. IT absolutely loves the open road. Just got back from a 5 day trip to Yellowstone-averaged 36 mpg!! Nice looking & holds a lot of luggage plus 4 adults.

Economical, easy to get in and out of, easy to park, and love the keyless access. Push button rear door makes shopping or traveling so convenient. Favorite car ever!

This car meets all of my needs. It is convenient. It has plenty of leg room, plenty of space. Good gas mileage, low maintenance. I would recommend it to family and friends.

As a senior citizen I sold my car on the 9th of March thinking I would get totally travel by taxi or Uber or Lyft but I under estimated the value of getting up and going when you like. My wife and I had a great experience buying a car at North City Honday, assisted by Dom. We entered the showroom on a Saturday afternoon thinking we were just starting our car shopping journey. We weren't looking for anything in particular, other than knowing we were interested in a hybrid or plug-in hybrid, and a little bigger than the almost 20 year old Honda Civic Hybrid we were replacing. Dom listened to what we knew we wanted, what we knew we didn't want, and then guided us to look at an Accord. We looked at two models of the current year, as well as a previously owned vehicle that wasn't prepped for sale yet. By the end of the day, we bought a 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring, which we think will serve our needs very well. The worst part of the experience was waiting for the financing to be processed, since we didn't think we were quite ready yet we hadn't arranged that ahead of time. But a vehicle we liked was available, and we thought it best to get it without dithering. Dom (our sales person) and Kylie (financing manager) made the process straightforward, and we'd go back to this dealership again.

We got the Honda Accord. Ken, the Sales Consultant knows his field. It’s just frustrating because there’s a long wait for the financing office. We stayed 5 hours in the dealership & it’s mostly waiting for the financial office to process our papers.

My sales person Alex Valdez was great! I thought he would give up on me because I was very picky and expected alot. I had resigned myself to keeping my current car, but then he found me the perfect vehicle and I love it! All in all it was a pleasant experience and I highly recommend McGrath Honda/Elgin. Just ask for Alex Valdez and he will work hard to find you what you want!
