Let me start by saying that like most people, I shudder at the thought of going into a car dealership and being preyed upon by the salespeople and financing people. From the minute my husband and I walked into Ray Price Honda, we were welcomed by a very sincere and genuine staff who was more interested in helping us than beating us down for a sale. We had driven an hour to purchase the only certified pre-owned 2017 black Honda Pilot around only to realize that the car was forest green. It was my mistake, as I didn't read the ad and just looked at the photo. We were so disappointed but Brian, one of the manager's, instead offered to sell us a new 2018 Honda Pilot for the same price. We also had our own financing which they were very happy to work with but the financing manager offered us an even better option, leaving the choice up to us with absolutely no pressure.
The entire experience from the moment we walked in right through to the "thank you for your business" email and voicemail was a complete pleasure. I can actually say I enjoyed the car buying process. Every person we interacted with was friendly, low pressure, helpful and embraced the true meaning of customer service. My husband and I walked out of Ray Price Honda feeling really good about our purchase, confident that we paid a fair price.
The next time any of my friends or family are in the market for a Honda, I will insist they head up to Ray Price Honda. The extra distance to travel is worth every mile. This dealership has got the service model right and other dealerships would be well served to use them as a role model for the industry.
