My Car Buying Experience

10 years ago, I bought my first brand new Honda Civic LX at an award-winning Honda dealership in Pittsburgh PA. It was a 'meh' experience at best. So when I finally 'drove the wheels off' that car, that's what I expected when I stepped onto the Breakaway Honda lot to buy a different car.
What I got was completely different. A few weeks before I was ready to buy, I stopped on the used car side and Yianni was the first person I talked to. From the moment he met me, Yianni treated me with respect and made me feel like he was interested in my purchase as much as I was. He took the time to talk to me that day to build a rapport that made me feel comfortable with my upcoming purchase. He was honest, professional, and courteous. I also met Chris his dad that day who is from my home town of Pittsburgh, PA and he also made me feel like he was as interested in my purchase as I was. I left that day feeling comfortable about where I wanted to purchase my new car.
On Labor day I came in to buy. Chris took me in his office and we began the process. As he worked to find the best financing option fit for me which was a new car not a used one, he also talked with me and made me feel comfortable. When he found the best option for me, Yianni took over and made several walking trips to the new car side until he found exactly what I wanted. (I was not pressured at any point. Yianni let me decide what I wanted to buy by showing me my options).
When I decided on what I wanted, I got to meet Dale the person who arranges the deals. After Yianni made one or two trips back and forth, I was presented with a deal I was happy with. The price of the car was acceptable and I got a VERY fair trade in allowance which I was not expecting at all. Dale even came out from his office to introduce himself to me and have a conversation with me.
Next I met Jack who drew up and processed the paperwork with me. He shook my hand and welcomed me into his office. He took the time to talk with me and made me feel welcome. He reviewed all the paperwork with me to my satisfaction and answered all my questions without rushing me or giving me short answers.
As the ink was drying on my contract, Yianni took extra time to sit with me and show me how the new digital display worked. He also took a moment and shared a story with me about how he sold a car he had for a while to make a large purchase because I was sad about saying goodbye to my old car of 10 years.
Also I want to acknowledge Mike R. in the service department who helped me take care of my old car. Mike always answers my emails for appointments promptly. He is honest and professional but friendly and he always remembers my name, something I really appreciate.
From the time I walked onto the Breakaway Honda lot till the time that I drove away in my new 2018 Honda Civic EX-T :), I felt welcomed and appreciated. Everyone I came in contact with made me feel like my purchase mattered and was appreciated. I would say my experience at Breakaway Honda was the best car buying experience I ever had.
