Oil/filter change and tire rotation 10/6/18

After suffering two ordeals at two different Honda dealers, I decided to give El Monte Honda a try. I arrived at the dealership???s service center a few minutes before it???s 7:00 a.m. opening time. There were a several customers ahead of me, but once the spacious arrival area was opened up- the customers were promptly greeted and we were questioned about our reasons for being there. A few minutes later I was greeted by Service Advisor, Ken Okimoto. I was processed in, and I was given an written estimate for the oil/ filter change, and the tire rotation. I was told that I would be contacted should the mechanic find any additional issue that I might need to be made aware of. I was also given an estimate for how long it was going to take. I received a text message advising me that my car was ready. I walked over to Ken O???s office, where I was able to pay, as well as, pick up my car and drive home. I was surprised that no mention was made about the cabin filter, and the engine air filter- since the previous dealership recommended that both be changed during both my 30,000 and 40,000 mile service. (were both bad both times?) I trust that this time, they were both inspected, and that they were found to be acceptable. This resulted in a savings to me of about $100.00. I plan to continue having my car serviced at El Monte Honda- I will ask for Ken Okimoto.
