Rivard GMC - Mr Anthony Edwards

Rivard GMC used to service our Yukon XL and the service and professionalism was always top notch. It was this experience and familiarity that led us back to them when we were looking for a mid-size truck. After visiting another GMC dealer where they made little attempt to try and meet our requirement, we went to Rivard. We originally went there to look at a slightly used truck and test drove it but the price was not much less than a new one. Mr Anthony Edwards was very patient and very professional as he showed us their used inventory and newer options. He was very pleasant and forward with valuable information and not pushy with probing questions. He listened to our questions, answered them and offered options. He showed us several new models and broke down the numbers and all were on par or better with another dealer's offer. But his willingness and patience to assist us was the exceptional factor in accepting a very good offer on a new model and gave us a couple of days to ponder. Afterwards we went to a nearby Chevy dealer where we looked at their counterpart model. We told the sales rep we also looked at the GMC version and he concurred the GMC models were a little higher quality than the Chevy version. When we decided on a comparable model and attempted to negotiate a price, the Chevy offer was at least $500 more on supposedly/admittedly a lesser quality than a GMC. They asked what would it take for us to accept their more expensive offer and we reiterated that they have to give us an incentive in lower price to bring us over from the GMC offer. They were not willing to do so and we accepted Mr Edwards offer at Rivard GMC. Mr Anthony Edwards without a doubt has been the most pleasant auto sales rep we have ever dealt. After dealing with other dealers, we felt very confident we received a very good deal from Rivard GMC and Mr Anthony Edwards was the key!
