Shopped for and ultimately purchased a Toyota Sienna XLE from Bruce Cavanaugh Automart. From time we walked onto the lot we were treated in a friendly and helpful manner. Vehicle we identified from their web listing was exactly as described and in extremely clean condition. UItimately met and closed sale with Bruce Cavanaugh who was very personable and helpful in negotiating the final sale price and terms. Our experience with the sales and finance/closing staff was uniformly excellent. Best used car buying experience in my 50+ years of purchasing and leasing personal vehicles.
We have purchased two cars for my grandson from them - the second after someone broadsided/totalled the first one. We went right back, and my grandson drove off in his second car. Everyone we have worked with - and I don't know all their names - have been friendly, knowledgeable, and cared about what would best meet my grandson's needs/interests. Truly great folks!
I bought a 2006 Mercedes that had some problem a few days after the purchase . The warranty company did not want to cover the problems. Baucom stepped up and called the warranty company. After a couple of days the warranty company called to let me know that they would cover the problems. Thanks!!!
I traveled almost 2 hours to test drive a vehicle I saw on Cars.com. Thanks to GPS it was very easy to find the dealership. I was very impressed with the quality of cars they had available. I requested a test drive (via email) and was met by a friendly salesman (Jamie) who was helpful but not at all "pushy". I didn't buy the car I went up to test drive, but found and bought a dream car instead. They found me necessary financing which was also a great experience (Hanover Financial Services) and took care of all tax/registration details for me (in SC).
I haven't enjoyed driving this much in years!
I'm so disappointed, I purchased a 2009 Mercedes S550, we took it for a test drive before we purchased the car, it drove well, engine sounded great.. too bad we did not test the CD player, along some of the other features, like the phone, blue tooth, radio (crackles) and navigation systems . We purchased the car at below market value and now we are stuck getting the command center system fixed at a cost of $3000. I know the dealer knew this feature was not working, I just wish we would have figured it out before we purchase the car.
I have always been wary of salesperson, often with good reason, but you have helped to redefine the stereotype.

Jimmy Bartlett was very helpful. We first saw a car we liked until the service department said it would not be worth it. He wouldn't sell us a poor quality car.We wanted a Honda civic with a sunroof. He wouldn't give up until he found one for us. He went above and beyond for us. We are very pleased with him.
