Responsive, Professional, and Will Work A Deal

I walked into the show room on my lunch hour and told the sales representative Ken Wesley that I had only about twenty minutes to look at the new 2019 Honda Pilot. He toured me around the floor model in the dealership, gave me a real quick review of features and benefits, and told me that he would email me the entire on-line brochure and car specifications that I didn't have time to do in person. He did exactly as he promised; I had them in my email box within ten minutes. He followed up with a personal phone call to thank me for coming in, and asked to set up an appointment to test drive a Pilot the following week when it was convenient for me, which I did. When I came in a week later, I was offered coffee or a bottled water. I waited a few minutes for Ken to bring the demo car around, and we sat inside the car for about 5-10 minutes going over all of the important things I would need to know before hitting the road to drive the car. You'd be surprised how hard it is to learn the new gear selector buttons on the console after ten years of driving a Pilot with the selector on the column. It's best to know that before leaving the dealership. And adjusting the side mirrors, too. I was introduced to Ken's boss Matt, and later to the GM Papa, before I left the building for my ride. When I returned, we began talking specifics regarding financing, MSRP vs Actual price, etc. I left a half hour later with the dealer's best offer. We had serious discussions going back and forth over price and options, and they were able to reduce the price of the car that I wanted, by switching from the most expensive wheels option, to a more conservative, yet still attractive swap out. I bought the car and drove it home the following day. Everyone I met was personable, knowledgeable, and good to work with. I felt like I got a good price and was treated fairly, especially when you consider it was a 2019 I was buying; they had no real reason to deal with the new body style and multiple special options that were on the car that I bought, which was the floor model demo. I highly recommend Ken Wesley and the others that I worked with in the purchase of my new Pilot.
