My review is a little late, as the vehicle was purchased last month, December, 2015. After some initial texting, emails and missed phone calls, we were finally able to meet with Samuel to select a vehicle. I had previously informed him of my financial situation and the type of vehicle I was interested in. We finally made a decision on a used Volkswagen Jetta that I liked. I also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Kenneth Jones and Ron Jackson as well. Overall, this was the best car buying experience ever!!! Why did I choose to visit Penske Honda of Ontario when I have a vast selection of dealerships where I live and work? I was looking for a specific year/model and they had one of the two available for sale in the state of California. Why did I choose to buy from Penske Honda of Ontario? The brand speaks for itself, I fell in love with the car BUT it was the customer service that helped seal the deal. I have had my share of bad experiences and good experiences in car buying but this one was THE best especially considering the particularity of my financial health. After my credit took a blow from a recent economic hardship, I was apprehensive of stepping into a dealership or engaging any financial institution. I did not wish to be put in a bad light and judged merely because of my credit situation. At the same time, I didn't necessarily need the car so I was in a good position to decline any outrageous, high-interest offers. Well, it didn't take long for my unease to dissipate, or even form rather. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed. Everyone had a smile and actually knew my name! Not only was I greeted by the sales staff, service manager and finance manager but the President and General Manager, Bill McGrath, himself. I must preface this by disclosing I did reach out to Mr. McGrath directly to inquire about the car and financing options. What I didn't expect was for him to personally respond, and so promptly! With that I knew, it would be worth a trip to Ontario (which by the way is right off the 15 freeway; and a couple of other things to note: they have a courtesy shuttle and service is open both Saturday and Sunday). I had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle and after an honest dialogue about my finances, I was met by their just as honest feedback -- and an offer. This took me by surprise, yet it was refreshing that they had taken me seriously and utilized previously provided information to generate numbers. And they weren't bad looking numbers! What eventually led me to sign papers that night was their responsiveness and willingness to help my situation. I didn't feel as though they were trying to take advantage of me or make a quick profitable sale on my account. In fact, I don't think they made much off my transaction! They listed a number of items on the due bill of pre-existing conditions with the car, which weren't exactly a deal breaker but I would have liked to see addressed. This they handled during my subsequent service visit, and more! There were a couple of items that went unnoticed during the signing but when I brought it to their attention, it was immediately handled. Now, why am I so excited about this whole experience? Because customer service is rare and theirs was exceptional (and I LOVE my car). On a number of occasions they went above and beyond - did I mention two porters worked overtime to deliver my new car home? Oh and the Special Finance manager Jaime (no, I did not spell his name wrong), he is very knowledgeable and was instrumental in pushing forth an efficient negotiation. And Mr. McGrath? He was there every step of the way! For top management to be ever so present and involved means a lot! Everyone worked so harmoniously together and provided for a seamless transaction. Even after the purchase, they remain attentive and consistent in their care and communication of my car needs. Just as with the Honda line of cars, the individuals that make up Penske Honda Ontario are quality and performance driven. You can't expect anything less of this team because they are the epitome of Helpful Honda.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Car buying online can NOT be this easy anywhere else. Submitted credit app, followed up on the app on Monday 6/11/18, got approved, received contracts on Wednesday 6/13/18, returned them back at a FedEx drop-off box, Vroom recevied them on Thursday 6/14/18, paid my deposit as well, Vroom Rep called me on Friday 6/15/18 and said my car had been moved to the shipping department to be inspected and prepared for shipment. On Monday 6/18/18, I received an email saying that estimated delivery day would be 6/20/18. At this point I'm over the top anxious and super excited for 6/20/18. On 6/20/18 evening, around 5:50 p.m., Vroom Rep calls and tells me that the delivery guy won't make the delivery time scheduled for 6/20/18 so it'll be 6/21/18 when he delivers the car. I received my car on 6/21/18 at 6:00 p.m. at a Wal-Mart super center parking lot. I signed the bill of lading and received my keys. Oh, and there must had been miscommunication between the delivery guy and Vroom, because before he handed me my keys he asked who was going to pay him, and I told him my shipping fees and all were included in my financing. So he said they are probably just going to send him a check. Other than that; everything went extremely smooth. I did not run into any problems other than the day delayed delivery (which wasn't a big problem). I am completely satisfied. I received my paperwork and my car all in ONE week!!! ONE week!! It does not get any better or easier than that. The car is freaking awesome, l LOVE it!! It's just like brand new on the inside and almost on the outside, I take that back, it is pratically brand new on the outside with just minor scratches and paint chips. I love love love my car!!! I would highly recommend Vroom to family and friends and to anyone looking to purchase great vehicles at reasonable costs. In the future, I plan to purchase again from Vroom. Thanks Vroom!!

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

The wife and I bought a 2013 Infiniti from the guys in the used car department Saturday August 4th. Our salesman Grant Renfro was absolutely fantastic!! He was like dealing with an old friend. Funny, knowledgeable and helpful. His supervisor too was very friendly and helpful; managed to get us a deal we both could be happy with. Extremely well though out. All the new technology is easy to use, and very helpful. It is very sure footed on the snow. Honda has done a good job of reducing road noise and quieting the HVAC fan noise. It is a very comfortable ride with a ton of power while producing good fuel economy.

Some people thrive on the haggle experience....I am NOT one of those people! My bank was advertising VROOM and I thought I???d take a look. Admittedly, I was scared to buy a car....site unseen....but I was purchasing a new car (2017), so I wasn???t as scared as buying an older model. I called VROOM when I saw the car I wanted and the paperwork (I financed my car through my personal bank, but I hear they finance as well). started right there and then. Literally my car was shipped a week later and was picked up at our local mall (there was 3 other cars dropped off). The only hiccup...they forgot to send my temporary tags for the car, but we got it all squared away. Love my car, been driving it for 4 months now. Positives of buying through VROOM....no haggle, fair price; easy paperwork; 3 month warranty on all cars (try getting that at a regular used car dealership); Roadside Assistantsnce on all cars; FREE shipping to your house (or nearby)! Negatives: When I realized they didn???t send temporary tags with the car, I tried to callig back the 3 people I had worked with to purchase the car and each of their numbers were disconnected which really scared me. I emailed VROOM directly about my tags and they got back to me within the hour and emailed & overnighted my temporary tags. Hopefully, they change this practice and appoint someone to work with you until the car is successfully registered in your home state! Other then that....would totally recommend them!

I do love this dealership. Weve bought multiple cars with them, and everyone is always amazing to work with! The only thing I could possibly say that needs to be fixed is the waiting area seating. Monday the waiting area was completely full, and I ended up sitting on the sales floor. Now, the beat part is that I was having a service that usually takes around 3 hours but was out in about 1 1/2!

Mark Becker was great helping us get to the deal/price that we wanted. After doing 2 weeks of online research and Dealer Comparisons, Mark, MATCHED the dealer with the lowest offer. Even tho the process took 3 hrs I was impressed how many actual sales that were going on in the showroom (A Good Sign). Another standout was the financials at the end of the process. (NO HIGH PRESSURE to take unnecessary warranties) - usually a true sign of how the dealership makes back the money on the great deal they had made. Next car buy, I will BEGIN with BREAKAWAY, after the internet research. Final purchase was 2016 CR-V EX 2WD.

This is the second Honda we have purchased from Breakaway Honda this month. The first vehicle was a new 2016 Pilot. This was a 2014 CRV we found on line. We contacted Mark Becker since he was the on line sales person we used for the Pilot. He helped negotiate and close the deal. He went out of his way to help us complete what became a somewhat confusing sales process. Communications within the used car department seemed a little disjointed and did not flow as well as our new car purchase, especially with the issue of the deposit. We were paying cash for the vehicle and did not understand why we could not use the same payment/deposit process as the new car sale. It was a little disturbing, especially since we had already established that we were honest, dependable, and serious buyers. The only other negative aspect of the deal was the smell of the used car office. It has an obnoxious chemical smell that neither I nor my wife could tolerate. Other than that - a positive experience.

Jamie Swim was our service representative. He did a very good job explaining the process and service choices. He obviously works diligently to avoid surprises. He kept his commitment to stay in touch. The work done was a 60,000 mile service. When Jamie learned that we needed to wait because we only have one car he quickly looked to see if a loaner was available. Fortunately for us there was one and it was provided with no additional charges. The servicing took about 5 hours. We have had the car serviced at Hendricks several times. Each experience has been consistently good. On one earlier occasion the service took much longer than it should have. The service representative admitted the problem and offered an appropriate discount.

Have the top model. Don’t even think of going to a car wash. Transmission (9 speed) waste of money and very jerky Arm rests are the worst I have ever had or used. Navigation will not link up to goggle navigation. Radio over technical.

We are a family that has trusted on Honda cars since 1978! I went to Dick Brooks Honda to service my Honda Civic like normal. With a baby on the way, we were planning to buy a bigger car this summer. While my car was being serviced, I was checking out what they had and got talking with Chris DeWitt and Steve Rhoades about a brand new 2016 Honda Odyssey Soeacial Edition. For planning purposes we worked out some numbers. I took the numbers home to go over. Chris gave us zero pressure and was patient as I called and stopped by multiple times to talk. His approach to us was whatever was in the best interest for us. If we wanted to wait, then that was fine. Anyways, they gave us an amazing deal from price, trade-in, and financing. They gave us (in the voice of the God Father) "I am going to make them an offer they can't refuse". So we took it on a overnight test drive. We loved it and bought it. The whole process was 5 stars and they made car buying a fun experience! I have bought 2 cars from Dick Brooks and service my cars there. They are the only place I trust my car business!! I am very pleased to write this review as I was almost confirmed my vehicle in another dealership before I met Yianni in Honda, but I am the owner of Honda Odyssey now. Yianni was down to earth person and there was no pressure. I was drawn to his friendliness in the beginning but as I became more committed to making the deal I was also overwhelmed with his competence. I???ve had enough knowledge in the minivans and all my queries were answered and even answers to those I had not thought about. After my test drive and before I purchase the car, though he was very busy in attending other customers ( I know it was month-end), he made sure that everything was taken care of (by texting me) as far as my concerns and questions I had. He also waited for me to hand over the required documents late at night when I was completing my paper work for finance which was greatly appreciated. Great buying experience and I wouldn't hesitate recommending Yianni and Breakaway Honda to anyone.
