I was thrilled from the moment I got there but with my stubborn self went and looked at a few other cars before returning and buying. They did an amazing job but specifically Nate was amazing to work with. I even saw him interact with a past client who shared that she has bought both of her cars from him because of his skill, knowledge, and ease to work with.
Service department there is a young lady by the name of Blake, she was the most respectful and friendly person I have met in a while. Blake seems to be very knowledgeable in her field.

I can’t even begin to explain how satisfied I am with my experience. This was my first time buying a car so initially I was very nervous. After meeting Derrick he assured me that I was in good hands. The gentlemen at the dealership not only got me financed but with the help of Jerry, I was able to get State Farm insurance as well. Jerry, Derrick and Joe will have me and my family as valued customers for life. They made sure through every step I was comfortable and had a good understanding of what I was walking into. Yes, they get testy when you ask for more pictures of the frame. I wonder how many times they've driven several hours to look at a rust disaster car described as very clean or light rust on frame? Once we got past that, Mitchell was great to deal with. (He had no problem with my sending an appraiser over if I wanted to) When I expressed my reservation over buying a car on-line his response was, "Don't worry, I'll walk you through it." And he did. All papers were sent Fe-Ex over-nite with return included. Over the phone he went over each form with me to make sure I signed them correctly. They also worked with the shipper with no issues. The car is as clean as it was in their numerous pictures. But to be honest, the car had an under hood squeal when it was started on the hauler. Did they know? However, I can't say I've never had cars do that sort of thing to me when I went to sell them. I think it's an alternator bearing, no big deal. One very minor and really annoying thing-we unloaded the car in the dark and rain on a side street. When I went to put the plate on there were NO license plate screws in either bumper. I recommend them.
I was shopping for a car that was listed and verified it was still listed. I went to go look and couldnt find it(was Sunday). I emailed asking about it as we wanted to buy it. I got a call monday saying it was sold friday but no ome bothered to take it down online. Very frustrating.
John was great in making my purchase a bit easier. They promised to bring car to me in VA and get moonroof deflector installed and neither happened. But, they did pay for an Uber to bring me out to them. Ended up missing work :( and stuck in rush-hour traffic but love my car!

White Marsh CarMax treated me excellent. After being married for 34 years,I had never bought a car on my own. My husband had done all the dealings for all our cars. He passed away 11 months ago. It was certainly a big life issue for me. My salesman Zack was very professional and not pushy at all.My daughter has dealt with Carmax for her cars in the past. She convinced me to try them. I can say I was not let down in any way. I traded my car and bought a 2016 Toyota Rav4. Very low mileage and like new.Drives so smooth. On February 12th I purchased a 2011 Volvo S40 R Design. Very nice car. So i decided to take it on a nice road trip to see how the car performs. Immediately I noticed that the gas mileage was deteriorating. Went from getting 24mpg to about 17 mpg. Also the car stalled on me twice upon start up. But started up fine after a restart. Contacted service and they set me up with an appointment to get the car checked out. The service advisor contacted me and told me that they had done a diagnostic on the car and the knock sensor was bad....... Shouldn't a diagnostic had been done before I purchased the car?..... Also using the audio system I noticed that one of the speakers was busted..... Hope I haven't purchased a lemon from carmax. Is this a start of future issues.
Sales Professional Michael Dupree was excellent! He worked with me and put me in the car my family needed! The store GM helped negotiate with me, and got my monthly payment at a reasonable rate! What are you waiting for go see these guys!
I visited and subsequently purchased a new Ford Escape at Norris on Nov 8 2018. My salesman, Jason Catanzariti, was awesome in his knowlege of the Escape and the Edge. He explained to me all the bells and whistles that the Escape and Edge had. It took me a while to decide between the 2 modles and Jason was very patient with me. I recommend Jason highly. Also, the FI Manager, Will Watson, handled the financing of my new vehicle and the extended warranty very quickly and professionally.
Christine made an otherwise daunting experience feel effortless! She went above & beyond the call of duty to make sure that all of my needs were met, and even came in on her day off to answer more of my questions and help me with some paperwork. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and I am truly thankful for her help. Without her, I wouldn’t have my amazing new Ram. I highly recommend that you go see Christine, and I will never purchase a car from anyone else or anywhere else!!!!
I was not looking forward to buying a car because it is always a tedious process. But to my surprise this experience was the complete opposite. The staff was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and was very helpful with the process.
