Continued fair dealings with Hyundai of Everett
July 12, 2015
In May 2013, bought a red 2013 auto tranny Elantra from Everett Hyundai, at a fair price at the Hyundai dealer "moving in weekend sale"(got the auto tranny with some bells & whistles for the price of a stripped manual). The salesman was non-pushy. The final price was as the salesman first stated with no additional fees. The auto Elantra was excellent(no repairs in 2 years, AVERAGING 39mpg with ethanol-free gasoline & 15% city driving). That's right...with the auto tranny, which is a nice shifter!! Anyhow, the mother-in-law now has the car(she really loves it) & we bought a new RED 2016 manual tranny Elantra(built early May 2015) in mid-June 2015 from Everett Hyundai, again(my wife really loves it!!!). Again, a different Hyundai salesman was non-pushy. Considered a stripped manual, it still had a/c, the wonderful cruise control, satellite radio, & auto-dimming review mirror. We were charged $2500+ LESS than the auto 2013 Elantra, which was a good deal. With my wife's past 103,000+ mile Hyundai Accent(very few & little problems), no problems with the 30,000 mile 2013 Elantra, few problems with my 1988 Ford Festiva(KIA, partially owned by Hyundai) we expect few problems with the 2016 Elantra. Yeah, the "quality of repairs" doesn't apply, because Hyundais have few problems.
