To put it simply, my Mother calls my Elantra, the "Spaceship". And she's one used to driving Chevy Impalas, with more bells and whistles than one could imagine! My Hyundai is automatic everything. I love the shift manual option. (I prefer manual transmissions) So this was quite a nice suprise when I found out what it was. LOL! Something I didn't know about, and wasn't shown when I test drove and purchased the car. I don't think the salesman knew about this transmission shifting inclusion. It's very Stylish, safe, dependable and a wonderful deal for my $. My only complaint is the seats stain very easily. Everything else is wonderful!

My wife and I had planned a long RV trip from Austin to Kentucky and Missouri to do genealogy research, listen to bluegrass music, sample some Kentucky bourbon and Missouri wine, visit Quilt stores and caves. I took my 2010 F-250 in for suspected ball joint and related issues and told Service Advisor Anthony Vento when our trip was planned. He assigned an extra worker to the job. It turned out to be a big job with side issues that I verified to be correct. Yes, we had our truck in time for our trip even though it was a close call. Thanks also to mechanic Rudy (that's the only name I have) and to all the folks that worked on my truck. Had I not had Maxwell Ford making the repairs my wife and I would not have even made it out of Texas and might have had a serious wreck. We logged 4,700 miles pulling an RV and had no problems whatsoever! Thanks to all that helped, it was a great trip and we accomplished all our goals!

I did a lot of research into compact cars before test driving several models from Honda, Toyota and Ford. Then I tried the Elantra. Fully loaded....heated seats front and back, Bose sound system, leather throughout, sunroof. Incredible value for the money, far better value than the comparable Toyota and Honda. It's a fun little car to drive and comfortable on long hauls. I have a lot of arthritis and sitting in a car seat for hours gets excruciating. Decided to drive the Elantra from SW Washington where I live to California. Elantra got 44 mpg doing 75-80mph nearly the entire way, was comfortable for all 3 of us (myself, wife and 8 year old. Sound system is amazing and onboard Bluetooth works fine. Nav system and some other minor apps on the console could be a bit better but much better than Honda especially. Ergonomics of the cockpit are great and make sense. Overall just a fun easy car to drive. Sport mode is fun, but fuel consumption goes way up and the Elantra's suspension isn't really meant for throwing it into corners....a tad of understeer.

I have owned several Hyundai cars beginning with the accent, so every time I'm looking to upgrad my Hyundai. The reason I choose southpoint was because we have been bringing our other hyundai cars there for service. Your service department has been beyond reproach, especially Gilbert the service manager (I think). But anyway his name is Gilbert in the service department. He has integrity, very professional & honest. He has been nothing but fair when quoting car repairs and then following up during and in between and after the work has been done. Gilbert is a true professional and a great asset to Southpoint Hyundai. The other person I would like to mention is Thomas the young man who helped me with my purchase. I first met Thomas through the online system, because that's where I started my search, there was no doubt in my mind that my car was going to be bought at Southpoint Hyundai, it was just a matter of what color Sonata I wanted. I'm a no nonsense person, I don't won't nobody telling me what I want & trying to sell me something. Thomas was respectful from the first phone call until the last. He listened and did what I asked, so my experience was wonderful with him. I would recommend anybody I know looking for a car to go to Southpoint and go see Thomas. If y'all give bonuses then you need to give Thomas a bonus, and if you don't give a bonus then you need to! Car salesmen have bad reputations, but you all can be proud of Thomas, he is a wonderful young man. The next person is Sonny the finance guy, he is a 'Hoot" and I mean that with the utmost respect. When buying a car the finance part is the hardest. Sonny did this part with me effortlessly, there was "NO" stress during this process. Did I get the interest rate and payment I wanted, NO. That is not from Sonny not trying to do the best of me. But Sonny did the best he could with what he had to work with, Me(55357)(56842). So I'm very grateful for that. The other person was Joe the finance guy who wrapped up my deal, he was thorough and professional. At the end of the day the only complaint I have is that I got no credit for the work that I had done on my old Elantra a few months prior to me my buying my new car. Although I mentioned it to Thomas & Sonny during my process, I never got an answer as to if they would give me some credit. The timing belt was replaced on my other Hyundai. However at the end of the day, Hyundai is a great car, and Southpoint is the best! Oh yea did I mention that I drive an hour to get to Southpoint, when there are several Hyundai dealers where I live and pass several Hyundai dealers on my way to Southpoint, but its worth the drive to get the kind of service Southpoint has. This was hands down the best experience my wife and I have ever had buying a new car! We secured a pre-approved loan from Capital One and I reached out to Patrick Reeb. We found a 2017 Sonata Limited at a great price. Over $6K in savings due to currently owning a Sonata and me being a US Army Veteran. Patrick set us up with Finance Manager, John Freeland. I'd told Patrick I wasn't interested in any additional items, i.e. Extended Warranty, GAP, etc... John was very respectful of my request. He simply asked me a few questions and for my own benefit offered us a 10 yr/100K mile Bumper to Bumper warranty that added a few dollars a month to my payment. Peace of Mind is one of the reasons why we've just purchased our 3rd Hyundai and this warranty at the price he offered us was just the right thing to put our peace of mind at the max! Eddie Gomez was our Delivery Manager. He and Patrick made my wife's experience getting into her new car just perfect! They even set us up with myHyndai Bluelink. Completely unexpected, this Sonata can be unlocked, engine start, Lights turned on and many other features all through our iPhone! Just absolutely love South Point Hyundai! We could've chosen any other Hyundai dealership, I am so glad we chose to return to Patrick and his supporting cast! In & out in less than an hour! I purchased a 2017 Elantra towards the end of 2016 brand new. I had to have the paint on the front of the car around the hood repaired under warranty due to it randomly peeling about a year ago while it was barely under the cap for mileage on the warranty. I’m active duty military so I’ve put a lot of mileage on my car pcsing and visiting family so my car is no longer under warranty and the paint has been chipping in various areas of the car since the last repair. I searched the web and found that several other customers have also been having this problem with the pearl white paint on this year/make/model so I feel like it’s pretty safe to say the paint was faulty and Hyundai should be liable to fix this considering I payed full price for a below average/faulty product. I called Hyundai to inquiry to see if I missed a recall since it’s been such a prevelant issue for customers, I was informed that there wasn’t and customer service told me to contact the dealership I had the paint repaired at while under warranty even though it was in a different location to see if they would repair it. I called the dealership and they offered to take pictures and submit them to Hyundai to see if they could help since it wasn’t the same location they had repaired but I’m deploying in a week and they said there likely wouldn’t be a solution by then which is understandable but no one has even been able to give me a straight answer other than contact numbers to pay for a paint job out of pocket from a body shop. I’ve been transferred 5 or 6 times contacting three different locations to see if someone could help me but alas, nothing. It’s definitely not worth paying for a brand new car only for it to start peeling and looking trashy less than two years later due to low quality paint. If they would have done a recall and provided a solution to their customers complaints I would have rated it much higher because everything else about the car has been wonderful.

I needed the 15K maintenance service. I called and asked for an appointment - where I came from, Seattle, you always needed an appointment. It was Tues afternoon about 3pm. Service said, no, the we can have you out of here in 2 hours if you come in now. So i drove there and was promptly greeted by Dylan. He said he would have me out of there in 1.75 hrs max. He asked if i'd been there before. I said no. So he showed me around and left me in the large waiting area at a work area where i could use my laptop. About an hour and a half later, Dylan told me my car was ready.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I took my car to the dealership to get my air conditioning fixed as 2 other people couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. At first the dealership thought it was something easy but it turned out to be much more complex and took over 2 days to fix. They didn't charge me for the extra labor costs since they underestimated the amount of work it would take. Sean Foster, out service person was great. He gave me a car to use for a couple days and kept me apprised ofd going on with it my car. Excellent customer service.

I love the mileage, the look, the comfort and the design of the car. The few complaints I have are about design of the car, in specific areas: The windshield wipers divert the water straight into the window. It comes into the window...runs straight down the speakers and onto the control panels for the windows and doors. Yes I can put rain guards, but there should be some sort of trough in the design to keep the water from going straight down. If there is snow on the trunk lid and you open the trunk, it dumps straight down inside the trunk! There should (once again) be a trough of some type to keep this from happening. Lastly, don't ever buy a black Hyundai....keeping them clean and keeping the swirls and smudges off is impossible. Usually I can wax my car and it keeps the little things from sticking so bad, but not on this car. My 1996 Jimmy does better with the paint and the wax and preventing sticking. This Hyundai is ridiculous to keep clean. I should have never bought black...I should have bought RED!

With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

I bought the car brand new with only less than 5 miles on it. It’s the fully loaded Limited Utime editio. It has never required any service and its almost 24,000 miles. Super great value and craftsmanship. People seem to always mistake it for a Lexus model they have never seen. I get a lot of compliments and admiring looks. Super nimble in the sports mode.

Checking internet for used late model vehicles Lexus, Mercedes, BMW...went to dealership to see an advertised vehicle....John (salesman), told us he had sold vehicle couple of hours before (we actually met buyer of that vehicle)...showed us others, test drove (NO HASSLES)...couldn't find low enough mileage on vehicle...John introduced us to Ben (manager)...He stopped everything he was doing and gave us 100% of his time....asked us lots of car questions from color to make and model, etc...he got on-line, found us a potential vehicle...said he'd bid on Monday (we were there late Sat afternoon)....Monday came around, he called me repeatedly, e-mailed me, on prices and conditions of vehicles...Bought vehicle (on my word alone, no paperwork)...sent me various pictures, stayed late following Friday, and we closed on the vehicle. ....I've bought and sold cars for 45 years....I've never had such a positive experience buying a vehicle. ..I will be back, along with anyone I know looking to purchase a vehicle.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

If you are looking for a car for your everyday need choose hyundai elantras. Depending on your distance of computing your tank can last you 5 days. My own is approximately 2.5 years old and the only issue I had was the battery because the one i bought the car with the original battery it came with when it was purchased brand new. I think having a battery that last you in this car about 3 years is worth having. Overall very good quality car!

Scott Stark, Jim Raney and Jim Hayth.....I would like to express my OUTRAGE caused by one of your employees....Tommy Gregg....I'm on my 3rd vehicle with South Point....I've NEVER had a bad experience until today....I've been bringing my vehicles in on Ladies Day for maintenance and upkeep since I got my 1st car.....before today I had NEVER been told I should make an appointment...I just knew to get to the shop early so I didn't have to spend a lot of time waiting due to the ladies day special....I arrived at South Point at 6:20 a.m. on August 10, 2017.....I've been doing this since I got my 1st car....I was met by Tommy Gregg, who seemed pleasant at first, when he asked what I needed, I said I want to get my car serviced....reply....what kind of service.......I said the ladies day special oil change...he then asked me if I had an appointment.....I said no...his response was WELL I have 8 people ahead of you (WITH APPOINTMENTS) his tone and the way he was coming across put me on the defense because he made me feel as if I had done something stupid by showing up without an appointment....at that point I let him know (very abruptly) that it didn't matter about the 8 people who had appointments at 7:00, (8 people scheduled for 7:00......really) I still needed my car serviced....I went to the desk to ask if I should have scheduled an appointment and I was no but that it could cut down on my wait time.....I was really feeling as if I had done something wrong.....no one had EVER reacted in that manner before they just let me know I would be taken of and I've NEVER waited long periods of time even though I had no appointment so I couldn't figure out way his attitude came across like it stupid for me to just show up.....another customer sitting there was commenting on the fact that the service ladies weren't there today, (just making small talk) when another employee came in with big smile and a big good morning to everyone letting us know he had brought donuts....the other customer and I commented on the service ladies not being there and the gentleman simply said they weren't there any longer......this employee was standing at the door with his hand on the handle....his back was to the door and he wasn't able to see Tommy approaching the door....I was shocked at what Tommy did.....he didn't even try to make the gentleman aware that he was coming in.....he yanked the door open which caused the other employee to stumble slightly....Tommy barged in without even saying excuse me, I'm sorry are anything else for that matter.....if I thought he would just open the door like that without at least trying to let the other person know he was about to open the door....I would have said look out someones coming in .... Tommy's overall behavior was VERY RUDE......I do not wish to have ANY dealings with him in the future....he REALLY acted like he was superior to other people.....in addition to that when my car was brought to me, I didn't realize until I had left, there were greasy hand prints on my passenger door inside my car.....NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE TODAY.....

I worked with Kevin from First TX Honda when I started inquiring about a specific car in Aug 2018. Two other area dealerships contacted me as well but stopped. Kevin was following up with calls and emails monthly letting me know their deals which caught my eye. He did not get to the point of annoying. Very responsive and gave me answers right away on what I was going to pay for my car plus TTL. With that info against other dealerships, I could negotiate until my husband and I were ready to buy a car this month (Nov). Kevin wasn???t too pushy, very friendly & professional and was definitely patient with us. He didn???t give up on us at all. We are very happy with our purchase of a 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T. I was closely working with another dealership during the time of negotiation going back & forth and almost left where we previously bought our older car but First TX won out. They gave us exactly what we wanted and literally came down to color & mileage. Mike Broderick, the Team Lead, was great too and definitely gives great sales pitches!! Charlie Baldwin has a great, positive attitude and glad we ended the night there at Finance. Laid back and relates to people. I had never considered leasing before and initially rejected the suggestion but Tim Palmer laid out the benefits of leasing (including the option to buy the car at the end of the lease) vs purchasing outright (primarily, the immediate depreciation that occurs when you drive your new car off the lot). After a bit of back and forth over the options and the monthly payment, I signed up for the lease. Got home. Had a bit of a panic attack about it as I questioned my choice. I'd come in for an oil change on my 2013 Accent and ended up talking trade-in with Tim; skipped lunch and by the time the whole process was over I was a bit lightheaded and later, after a meal, the old attitude toward the idea of leasing instead of buying came up. I called the next morning and expressed my concerns. They told me they could hold the paperwork and to come down and we'd go over everything, and if I wanted to buy instead of lease the car then I would have that option. We went over everything (again) and the lease felt right to me. I appreciated that I was allowed the time to reconsider. While there are aspects with regard to the lease that differ with owning - primarily yearly mileage restraints and a greater (almost paranoid) level of attention to the condition of the vehicle (birds are my mortal enemy and I'll happily park and walk rather that squeeze into a tight space where someone might ding me) - I don't regret the choice. Besides, if I end of purchasing the car at the end of the lease, that extra attention and care will pay off. And I love my Elantra GT, so that end-of-lease purchase is likely!

Being retired, this car currently meets all my wife and my needs. The economy is nearly always 30 + MPG Firm ride, front PAX seat needs improvement, not comfortable very long for my wife. At 12,000 Mi has been completely trouble free
