Although we began a search with Ben French for an SUV in January, lured by the rebates offered by Hyundai and Dean Team Hyundai in May, we decided to pursue the purchase of a 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.05 Ultimate on May 26. The car was delivered from a dealership in Tennessee on May 29 ! Ben's knowledge of the product, his thorough search for a model with the equipment we chose (within a 250 mile radius), and his engaging and helpful mien and careful attention to detail - both with the customers and the transaction - made this a truly enjoyable (and entertaining) experience. We appreciate his assistance more than these few words can express. We went in to purchase a 2016 Hyundai Sonata. We had been to other dealers and had some price commitments and Dean Team was the final stop. We met with Justin who showed us the car we wanted, immediately set us up with a test drive and, once back from that, we discussed the price. Having been elsewhere and discussed pricing at a couple other places I knew what I wanted to pay. Justin didn't mess around. We quickly agreed on the price, signed some papers and were on our way. When we have bought cars in the past we would be able to agree on a price but then have to wait forever to be able to get into the finance manager and finalize everything (last car we bought at another dealer was 2+hrs wait time just to get in to see the finance guy). Adam, the finance manager we worked with, got us in pretty much right away and only kept us in his office for around 15 minutes or so (this also included personal chatting, he is also a really nice guy). This is the least amount of time I have had to spend at a dealership in order to purchase a car. Total time was probably less than an hour. To be able to be out this quickly is nothing short of amazing and impressive. Also, Adam was very nice and quickly explained everything to us. Overall Justin was straightforward with us, honest and completely helpful. Also, no real pressure at all. After we got the car home we had some issues getting the vehicle registered on the MyHyundai page and signing up for the BlueLink service (which came with a trial). I sent Justin an email about it and he took care of it very quickly. If looking to buy a Hyundai in the St. Louis area I really don't think you can do better then Justin and Adam at Dean Team!

When I placed inquiry online into Sam's auto buying program, I had calls and emails from at least 5 different Hyndai dealers within minutes. From my first conversation with Jacob, I could tell he was different from the rest. I talked to several dealers who gave me canned dealer responses while Jacob truly listened to me, answered my questions, and gained by trust over email and phone...to the point where I drove 30 miles, passed at least one other Hyundai dealer, to Dean Team. I was a little concerned about financing since we were buying two cars for two teens when we already had auto loans. But, he helped me with financing pre-approval before my visit to shorten my time at the dealership since time is a commodity. When it came time to make a deal I was presented a fair price and generous trade in values. And even purchasing two cars we able to get everything done in an evening AND make it out for dinner before going home. Jacob and the Dean Team exceeded my expectations. I don't foresee a need for another new car in the near future....but I will certainly be referring anyone who in the market.

My experience was outstanding in every way. And I can say that even though I had a terrible experience with my surgery in the hospital. (ironically that involved medical service personnel). Any interesting fact is that I came in just to look at the Hyundai not the dealership. I was predisposed with a negative impression of the Dick Dean Dealership due to a poor experience at the VW Dealership years ago. And I have a number of relatives and acquaintances with a negative impression (all with the VW dealership). But non-buyers usually don't give feedback. Andy and Jeff totally reversed my opinion, at least regarding the Hyundai Dealership. I was having some medical issues at the time of my purchase. In fact I had to delay my test drive and payment until after I returned from the hospital and was ok'ed to drive (5 days later). The salesman (Andy Miller) probably had to fight off other salesman who wanted to sell the car on which I made a small deposit. Andy was also very considerate making me very comfortable and going out of his way to offer and get water for me or brochures or any other information that I requested. I was very impressed that he was not in any condescending. These remarks also apply to Jason Moore. Because of some of the discomfort I have, I seem to talk incessantly. Both were very gracious and focused on their job at hand. Even several others were helpful with things like helping me with your wifi connection or politely reminding me that I have to leave the key in the car if I want it to stay on for a minute when getting something. [At several OTHER DEALERSHIPS, I had the opposite opinion of the sales person with whom I dealt. They certain didn't understand my sense of humor. they seemed to be put out when I asked how to open hood or trunk]. I had told them and Andy the same thing when I went in. I said I probably wouldn't be buying a car till early next year, since we could get by with one car. I think part of my great experience was by thankfulness for the men who have been in service. It also seems to help them in sales and service careers, for their respect for others. I take pride in my own considerate behavior and had the honor of helping the military through my 40 years of work in guidance and control at McDonnell. . . Boeing. And I am proud of those who serve the Military and law enforcement.

To put it simply, my Mother calls my Elantra, the "Spaceship". And she's one used to driving Chevy Impalas, with more bells and whistles than one could imagine! My Hyundai is automatic everything. I love the shift manual option. (I prefer manual transmissions) So this was quite a nice suprise when I found out what it was. LOL! Something I didn't know about, and wasn't shown when I test drove and purchased the car. I don't think the salesman knew about this transmission shifting inclusion. It's very Stylish, safe, dependable and a wonderful deal for my $. My only complaint is the seats stain very easily. Everything else is wonderful!

I purchased a 2017 Elantra towards the end of 2016 brand new. I had to have the paint on the front of the car around the hood repaired under warranty due to it randomly peeling about a year ago while it was barely under the cap for mileage on the warranty. I’m active duty military so I’ve put a lot of mileage on my car pcsing and visiting family so my car is no longer under warranty and the paint has been chipping in various areas of the car since the last repair. I searched the web and found that several other customers have also been having this problem with the pearl white paint on this year/make/model so I feel like it’s pretty safe to say the paint was faulty and Hyundai should be liable to fix this considering I payed full price for a below average/faulty product. I called Hyundai to inquiry to see if I missed a recall since it’s been such a prevelant issue for customers, I was informed that there wasn’t and customer service told me to contact the dealership I had the paint repaired at while under warranty even though it was in a different location to see if they would repair it. I called the dealership and they offered to take pictures and submit them to Hyundai to see if they could help since it wasn’t the same location they had repaired but I’m deploying in a week and they said there likely wouldn’t be a solution by then which is understandable but no one has even been able to give me a straight answer other than contact numbers to pay for a paint job out of pocket from a body shop. I’ve been transferred 5 or 6 times contacting three different locations to see if someone could help me but alas, nothing. It’s definitely not worth paying for a brand new car only for it to start peeling and looking trashy less than two years later due to low quality paint. If they would have done a recall and provided a solution to their customers complaints I would have rated it much higher because everything else about the car has been wonderful.

I had the spark plugs changed in my 2008 F-150, A few days later I noticed a fuel odor in the cab. Took it back To Dave Sinclair and they found a spark plug not seated correctly. Repaired it for no charge and everything is good.

I love the mileage, the look, the comfort and the design of the car. The few complaints I have are about design of the car, in specific areas: The windshield wipers divert the water straight into the window. It comes into the window...runs straight down the speakers and onto the control panels for the windows and doors. Yes I can put rain guards, but there should be some sort of trough in the design to keep the water from going straight down. If there is snow on the trunk lid and you open the trunk, it dumps straight down inside the trunk! There should (once again) be a trough of some type to keep this from happening. Lastly, don't ever buy a black Hyundai....keeping them clean and keeping the swirls and smudges off is impossible. Usually I can wax my car and it keeps the little things from sticking so bad, but not on this car. My 1996 Jimmy does better with the paint and the wax and preventing sticking. This Hyundai is ridiculous to keep clean. I should have never bought black...I should have bought RED!

Great service and customer service from Jeff Johnson. Even the car wash was Great! I also talked to Greg Patton about a possible future sale when the Santa Cruz finally makes it's appearance at the dealerships. Greg also was very friendly. Only question I have has to do with the purchase of my Tucson from formerly Mungenast Hyundai. When I purchased the vehicle I was told I have 10 coupons for $25 off service or oil changes. When I brought the Tucson to former dealer they would automatically deduct the coupon when the work was finished. The problem is there never was any tangible coupons. I would like to know if in the future I will get to use the coupons that I was given on purchase agreement. All oil changes on the Tucson have been done at this establishment and should show on my service records. Also I have a 100,000 mile warranty $0 deductible bought with the purchase of the Tucson that I would like conformation that it will be honored as well. Thank You, Dennis

Being retired, this car currently meets all my wife and my needs. The economy is nearly always 30 + MPG Firm ride, front PAX seat needs improvement, not comfortable very long for my wife. At 12,000 Mi has been completely trouble free

I did a lot of research into compact cars before test driving several models from Honda, Toyota and Ford. Then I tried the Elantra. Fully loaded....heated seats front and back, Bose sound system, leather throughout, sunroof. Incredible value for the money, far better value than the comparable Toyota and Honda. It's a fun little car to drive and comfortable on long hauls. I have a lot of arthritis and sitting in a car seat for hours gets excruciating. Decided to drive the Elantra from SW Washington where I live to California. Elantra got 44 mpg doing 75-80mph nearly the entire way, was comfortable for all 3 of us (myself, wife and 8 year old. Sound system is amazing and onboard Bluetooth works fine. Nav system and some other minor apps on the console could be a bit better but much better than Honda especially. Ergonomics of the cockpit are great and make sense. Overall just a fun easy car to drive. Sport mode is fun, but fuel consumption goes way up and the Elantra's suspension isn't really meant for throwing it into corners....a tad of understeer.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

100% reliable, nimble and a looker

I bought the car brand new with only less than 5 miles on it. It’s the fully loaded Limited Utime editio. It has never required any service and its almost 24,000 miles. Super great value and craftsmanship. People seem to always mistake it for a Lexus model they have never seen. I get a lot of compliments and admiring looks. Super nimble in the sports mode.

Taking the Stress and Pain out of Car Shopping

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

If you are looking for a car for your everyday need choose hyundai elantras. Depending on your distance of computing your tank can last you 5 days. My own is approximately 2.5 years old and the only issue I had was the battery because the one i bought the car with the original battery it came with when it was purchased brand new. I think having a battery that last you in this car about 3 years is worth having. Overall very good quality car!
