A great experience with Hoffman Honda

My wife, Susan, and I finalized the lease of our 2016 Honda Pilot on April 8, 2016. We turned in our 2013 lease 6 months early. When Susan went to the dealership in late March of this year, she had only planned on "checking out" the 2016 models. When she met with our Sales and Leasing Consultant, Alan Katz, Alan told her that she could turn in the 2013 lease in favor of the 2016 lease. He said that Hoffman would take the 2013 lease 'as is" and that they would make the remaining payments on that lease for us. Susan was very impressed with the 2016 model and Alan did a nice job of explaining everything to my wife. I didn't even get involved until the day we decided to trade leases and I put a down payment (deposit) down on the vehicle. We "closed' on the vehicle about a week later. Time was needed to install a trailer hitch which we needed. Throughout the process, Alan Katz was very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. I even knew before April 8th exactly how much it would cost to purchase a new trailer arm or ball should what I had from the 2013 lease not worked. Alan took us to the car and explained all of the important features to us in great detail. We noticed that one of the tires was under inflated and Alan took us right to the Honda Service area in order to top of the air in the under inflated tire. Throughout the entire leasing process, I was impressed by Alan's focus on detail and thoughtfulness. It was a pleasure to do business with him.. When it came to close on the 2016 lease, Alan put us in touch with the Business Manager, David Ezedine. David was also very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. All bases were covered in great detail. I ended up knowing exactly what I was getting when it came to the in and out Simonize treatment we had previously bought as well as coverage for a series of optional services we also accepted that day relative to paintless "dings" and "scratches" repair, replacement of lost key bobs, tire and wheel damage due to road hazard, 24 hour Roadside Assistance and windshield "chip" repair. I was initially reluctant to pay the extra money, but, David did a very good job of convincing me of the value of the optional plan even if only in terms of the peace of mind we gained from accepting it. I/we also thoroughly enjoyed doing business with David. Finally,, as part of the process, we even had an exit interview of sorts by one of the managers whose name escapes me. Apparently, Honda wanted to make absolutely certain that we were entirely pleased with the leasing process and that the final outcome of that process was in line with our expectations. My wife and I both thought that this was a nice "added touch". All in all we had a great experience with Hoffman Honda and we look forward to at least three years with our 2016 Honda Pilot..
