I took my 2014 Hyundai Accent to the Phil Long dealership with a "rolling" or "fading" braking problem, and not only did the administrator take the car for a test drive when they were getting ready to close, but on my successive visit, I was able to ride in the car with him to see if the problem could be duplicated for another driver. The entire service department is excellent, cordial, and professional, and encouraged me to bring the car back if the problem persisted. The mechanics inspected the car in real-time telephonic coordination with the Western Regional Hyundai Motor America Regional Consumer Affairs representative, who gave the issue a case number and also covered the cost of the inspection. The mechanics test-drove the car more than once and checked the brake system thoroughly. I will continue to have my car serviced at Phil Long Hyundai, as they are committed to the driver's best interest. Susan Stevens
I really enjoyed my buying process. I didn't have to wait very long for a salesman to come and assist me. He was very familiar with the cars and made my decision an easy one. The paperwork side of the process went very smooth. I was very pleased with how little time it took to complete the deal. The only concern I have is that there was differences of opinion between the sales manager and the service department regarding the warranty that I purchased. There was a remaining balance of the manufactures warranty for another 3 years yet I purchased the gold plus warranty which is for 6 years or 72,000 miles. Even now I am unsure of what warranty takes precedence and if the manufactures warranty does and the gold plus takes effect immediately, it seems that I wasted 3 years of my gold plus warranty. I need some clarification on this. Any assistance I can get would greatly be appreciated.
My salesman Angel was great very helpful and patient!! He was very helpful and great with all our needs and wants !! He alone deserves five star !!!!
Then it stops there!!! I wish it had been a better experience after we purchased the car getting all the special futures to work like “blue link” that company is a nightmare and I would never recommend that service !!! There’s not enough bad words in the English language to explain those people and their horrible customer service !!!!!
I was disappointed that no one greeted me upon entering. There was no welcome smile or greeting when finally some one looked up from their phone to let me know someone would take care of me shortly. I had requested to have my in cabin filter changed, but the tech made the decision not to change it without showing it to me first. Since I am chronic asthmatic I need to know my my filter is clean and it had been a year since it was last changed.
We have purchased several vehicles from Phil Long and always have a great experience with my car repairs and this is due to the technicians but also to Jay. He is a caring, knowledgeable and honest person to deal with. My husband passed away last year and I need someone to have integrity and to lead me in the right direction for my car repairs and he never fails to do so.
9/8/18. My oil change and tire rotation was completed. Only replaced upper radiator hose, did not replace the lower radiator hose as requested. Should have replaced upper and lower radiator hoses. This is the second time that the work was not completed. The first time they forgot to order the hoses so none of the hoses were replaced. Second time. Service writer knew that both hoses were to be replaced. Person that checks your lights and mileage was also told about replacing BOTH HOSES. What will it take to get the job completed. You need to know that upper and lower would be (2) not 1. Waste of my time again. .
Our buying experience was outstanding, our salesman was Miguel he was great to work with. He took the time WE needed to find the right car for us. On price and payment we informed Miguel where we needed to be, and he came through for us stress free.
