Used Hyundai ELANTRA for sale near Hawthorne, NY under $20,000

I was very pleased after being upset with my Santa Fe truck stalling out and just recovering from double knee surgery. I own a 23' Hyundai Elantra Limited, it has 37,000 miles on it. For the Elantra being the smallest sedan that Hyundai makes, I have been surprised by this car. My 2 previous cars were a Sonata Sport and a Sonata Limited. Pros: comfortable ride - I drive 60+ miles daily to work and I have no complaints about the ride of this car. Sound System: This features Bose speakers, as it is a Limited model. For a factory sound system, it sounds very good. Fuel Mileage: I get between 35 - 37 MPG with some of my daily drive being in stop and go traffic. Maintenance: the only things I have had to do were the normal oil changes, filter changes, and I have replaced the tires. Cool feature is the BlueLink phone app so you can remotely lock, unlock, start the engine to cool down or warm up the interior of the car Cons: hyundai took away the ability to save music to the car stereo and replaced the feature with "nature sounds" Homelink garage door opener was not an option in the Elantra Limited. I would recommend this car to someone that has a limited budget and is looking for a car that is fun to drive and has been reliable.

I recently bought a 2020 Elantra with very low miles (39k). It looks great, like new, and drives like a large sedan should. And the gas mileage is great! Driving around town yesterday it got 37 mpg in normal traffic, when the spec is 30. And on the freeway I was getting well over 57 mpg on a very slight, non-visible decline at 77 mph. It "feels" comfortable. My only knock so far is the information on the center console could be brighter and I haven't figured out how to make it yet. The owner's manual was not included in the sale.

Great car, bought brand new at 13 miles,, just hit 100k miles with absolutely no issues whatsoever and to me it still drives and sounds as good as it did when I bought it off the lot, I do oil changes every 3-4k miles, definitely would recommend!! Love this car

This is one of the best cars ever made. Perfect combination of power, gas mileage (I routinely get 42 - 44 mpg), and reliability. Car only requires oil changes every 5,000 miles or so; big servicing required at about 63,000 miles. I would gladly get another of these vehicles in a heartbeat.

We bought our Elantra with 10K on the odometer and loved it since. The car has a great feel to it, it drives well, doesn't require much in terms of maintenance and meets all of our transportation needs. It's too small if you have a family of 4 or more, but for me and my wife it's quite ideal. Would recommend!

I recently upgraded from my 2010 elantra to a black 2023 elantra sel convince. This is a great car EXCEPT for the paint. the paint on this vehicle was not polished properly in certain spots and after only 3 weeks damage to the clear coat and chips have already occurred! Keep in mind i drive this car the same way i have driven previous cars and never before have i seen so much damage to the paint accumulate in the span of less than a month after purchasing. Great safety features and just enough power- just a crappy paint job. If you are going to purchase this car, silver, gray or white would probably be your best bet.

Best Hyundai dealer I have ever been to. I needed the clutch fixed in my 13 elantra coupe. Even though the car had more than 12000 miles, they still got my repair done under warranty, and now it drives better than the day I bought it. Artie was fantastic to work with as was Scott, not to mention the mechanic Nick knows his stuff. I will only be taking my Hyundais to Huntington for nick to work on. I bought my 2020 Elantra SEL with 10k miles on it in May 2021. I have loved it every day since buying it. I now have 50k miles and no major issues at all. I have only done regular maintenance. It's very reliable and fuel efficient. I'm averaging 37 mpg higway/city driving. The interior is simple and easy to use. Hyundai continues to use physical buttons which makes navigating the infotainment screen a breeze. 2.0L NA DOHC engine has been perfect for my needs. Yes, it's kinda sluggish, but it's got the power to get on the interstate and get around people if needed. A few of cons:( very minor in comparison) 1. The models with dual climate, the selection where is air comes out is very annoying. You have to the press the button multiple times for just face, face/feet, feet/defrost, etc. Just give me a dial, please 2. The seats do not have great lumbar support. 3. The headlights are poor in raining conditions. I would upgrade the bulbs to LED. 4. Piano black( around/on the shifter) get REALLY hot in the summer. You can burn your self. Be careful. I will note, at the time of writing this this model and others are easily STOLEN. List can be found online of all affected models and years. If you buy this car or any model affected, make sure the recall is taken care of. And get yourself a steering wheel lock. Thankfully, mine has not been stolen.

Elantra 2024 hybrid is a stylish, powerful, great on gas, and nice to drive on highway or around town. Seems durable so far, no issues.

This car saved my mom’s life. In a five-car accident, she was left spinning and hitting multiple cars. The car’s numerous airbags kept her in place, and the safety figures left her with minor bruises and scratches. The doctors said she’s lucky to be alive. I’ve had the car for two and a half years and only had to replace one part. One note: DO OIL CHANGES; it’s very important for the motor in this car. Loved this car.

Had a 2022 Elantra for 3 years only reason I got rid of it was the fact it was a lease and the 36000 miles was up and I did not need a 3rd vehicle. Used this car solely for road trips it had been to 28 states in total and never let me down. Car a bit low for bigger people like myself however very comfortable driving, got phenomenal gas mileage I could get from NH to VA on a single tank with gas to spare. Overall not a fan of Hyundai however I wouldn’t hesitate buying another Elantra. Only Con I ever had with this car was the fact it is so low to the ground it makes it a magnet for rocks to the windshield I did replace 3 while owning.
