My wife and I are looking to buy a New svu this Sunday after church we stop by to see what they had. She found a 2017 Ford Escape. She has never gone to look at cars before. She I'm in love with this car. On Monday morning I called the dealership and talked to Mr James Bennett. I give him the stock number. He told me he call me right back what she did. We worked out the deal with him. When we got to the dealership the car was nice and clean. My wife move the car and she loved it. She asked if the paper work was done. Mr Bennett told the we asked for was exactly where she wanted it. We traded in a 2014 Mustang.Ron speller was so patient with her we left the dealership at 10:30. What I was most impressed with Ron he went all over the equipment of the car for her got the owner manuals out showed her everything about the owners manual. Capital Ford need two be very pleased with Ron speller and Mr. James Bennett. BOTH man have alot of integrity.

My wife and I have owned a Hyundai Santa Fe for 11 years and this year it turned 186000 miles. Easily the best car we have ever owned. And we would buy a Hyundai again but we wanted a truck to replace "old reliable." So we did our research and knew what we wanted a truck with as much reliability as our old Hyundai. I wanted a Dodge 1500 crew cab for the ruggedness and reliability and my wife was Intested in the Toyota Tacoma for the reliability and the drivability. And we know we clould not afford a brand new truck. So after a week of truck shopping and disappointment. We were driving past the Hyundai dealership and I saw a Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab in our price range. So we stopped in to check it out. When my wife and I pulled up we made a bet to see how long to would take for a salesmen to acknowledge us... we were both wrong, Chris welcomed us with amazing finesse and professionalism. We explained to him our price range and wants and needs. He said he had the perfect truck for us. So we followed him out to the lot and he shows us a Nissan Frontier crew cab SV. At first I was frustrated because it was not the Dodge. But after test driving them both my wife and I realize that Chris had our best interest in mind. The Nissan was more reliable then the Dodge and my wife was more confident driving the Nissan. So now we own an a great truck and are so happy. Hyundai is an amazing brand, Earnhardt Hyundai has an incredible staff and Chris is the best of the best. Please do yourself a favor and stop by, no matter what type of vehicle your looking for. You just might be surprised.

Overall I love my Kona. Limited. The 1.6 turbo has plenty of punch and has the power to pass or merge onto the Interstate without worry. It has minimal turbo lag. Seats are comfortable Interior is a little spartan despite the leather in the Limited. Corners well. Small cargo area but expected in this price range. This is a daily driver and I really enjoy driving it. No quality issues. Highly recommend this car

Very disappointed with our service here. Our 2015 sonatas lease came to an end so we went to the Bell Rd location to drop it off. The salesman convinced us to lease a new 2018 sonata and have my old 2007 Toyota Corolla as a down payment and they would take care of the remaining payments (which was ONE payment of $193). We just got a bill for this last payment saying it was overdue. We called Chapman Hyundai and spoke to the manager Alex. He said the guy who sold us the car no longer works there and there's no record anywhere saying they would take care of the remaining payment. I explained this is what we were told and we weren't even going to lease another car that day but with all the good deals that were being offered we thought, why not? He told me he would call me back to see if there's anything they could do. I waited the whole day and no call back. I called the next day and he said no, that's not what we agreed on and we can give you 2 complimentary oil changes (worth $40). I explained this is more than money now, this is just good business and having integrity. I asked if he could at least give us one more free oil change and he said (again) I will call you back. And guess What? He has never called me back. This is such poor service, especially in dealing with the Manager himself I thought he would at least uphold their word. It's $193 profit for them now but a for sure $1000's loss later when we decide not to lease through them again. Update-thanks to the manager George, we received a full refund. Thank you George for being a man of your word, much appreciated!

John was great! He was very professional and friendly. John was knowledgeable about the services that needed to be done on my car. Overall, great job John!! I told him I would rather drive from Maricopa (30 miles) to this dealership as their service is better than Tempe Hyundai which has bad customer service. On a side note I spoke to a new sales person and he might need training on Hyundai's as he didn't know much about them. I shared I have owned 3 Hyundai's starting in 1996 and my last Hyundai I drove for 250,000 miles. I educated him on all the great things about Hyundai:)

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I am not usually a fan of black plastic on cars, but with the Kona it works. Usually I would not even look at a car with that much black plastic, but on this car it looks modern, sporty, and durable. I am not thrilled with the interior, but I do like it. It has what I need and is comfortable. The seat warmers, cargo area in the back, and screen with apple car play are all a plus. I am 5'9 and with long legs, and I can sit in the front and back very comfortably. I am however THRILLED with the way this car handles. It's totally fun to drive. Everyone who has test drove my car were like me, pleasantly surprised. It's a small SUV, so easy to park and navigate, but with the higher seats and driving power, it feels like a larger SUV.

I Love my 2016 Fit. I traded in my 2010 Fit and Autonation gave me a fair price for it. Bruce Kralb and Alan Garcia always made the buying process an enjoyable one. They never pressured us and the gave a final price for the car, that was what I was looking for. Between taking Test drives and sitting down and talking about our options, this has been one of the best car purchasing experiences I ever had. They are just good people. Another good person I would like to praise is Jillian Zimmerman, the Financial service manager. She was great in explaining to us our financial responsibilities as well as any add ons we may wanted to purchase. I bought my car without any tint, with the help of Jillian and Bruce, my tinting service was expedited the day I brought it in. Autonation is just a great place to buy a car from, great people, great prices, and great service. I highly recommend.

Noticed the Kona when it first launched in 2018 and kept it at the top of my list for the eventual replacement of my ailing 2001 Toyota Celica GTS. Finally went for a test drive with the 2019 SE model and bought it the same day. It's primarily a daily commuter so I wasn't worried about missing out on the tubro engine, especially as sport mode fills in the gap when needed while keeping the price down. Went with the Thunder Gray color (it was the one I test drove) and the more I drive it the more I love it. The only thing close to a con I can think of is the all-plastic interior... would have loved to have had some padded elbow rests on the doors but it's really a small nitpick considering just how amazing the seats are as well as all the added features that come standard on the base model. Believe the hype, this is the compact SUV to beat!

I could have titled this review "Car buying for the busy professional" or "How to buy a car (mostly) over the phone"...but I think the title above makes the most sense. TLDR; [Short Version] If you want to buy one of the hottest brands right now (looking at you Hyundai), go to Earnhardt's Hyundai in Avondale, AZ. Ask for Eddie Nunez. Smile. [Long Version] So, I had a car in mind (the 2018 Elantra GT) and I knew I HAD to have only two features, a Panoramic sunroof, and Ventilated seats (if you lived in Arizona, you'd understand). So, I look around online, and nobody, and I mean NO DEALERSHIPS showed they had one on the lot. But, while browsing Earnhardt Hyundai, one of those annoying 'Chat with a sales rep' pop-ups appears, and I think "why not? can't hurt to ask right?" so I start chatting. The typing on the other end belonged to a 'first-line' personnel-type, but she quickly handed me off to Eddie. Quick, efficient and understanding, Eddie calls me (after asking for my number and only a few minutes to find the car), and tells me they have an Elantra GT in white, with EXACTLY those two features in stock. "You want the tech package," he tells me, "thats the one that gives you the ventilated seats and panoramic sunroof." So, I tell him, "I'm at work, I can't take off all day, and I have a concert to go to tonight (the U2 concert at Phoenix Stadium), so here is all my info, here is where I would like to stay around on payment, here is my trade-in information, and when you have a deal (monthly price) in my range, call me back" I wasn't expecting a call-back to be honest. I fully expected to have to deal with the whole "no come down to the dealership, have some stale popcorn and wait while we do the 'numbers' dance." I was happily surprised. Eddie calls me and says, "here is your payment (none of your business, reader), and the car will be here from our other dealership at 2, can you come down then and check it out?" Oh heck yea!! I get down there, meet Eddie (great guy, super friendly), meet the car, we go for a drive, he shows me the best parts of the tech package, and then on to the finance dept. Here is where most of you would think that the story takes a turn. SURPRISE!!! Peter in finance knew my time was limited (prior engagement) and got me in and out of finance in almost 15 mins. FIFTEEN MINUTES. 15!!! I hand't even HEARD of that. I was in and out of the dealership in a total of an hour. To be fair, I had to come back to sign somethings the next day, but still. HOLY COW that was fast!! Anywho, my car rocks. I have a ventilated leather seat (try finding that on a car this size for this price...go ahead...try), a super large sunroof, plenty of power under my right foot, and a great big smile on my face. All thanks to the great team at Earnhardt Hyundai, and most importantly, Eddie Nunez. Thanks Eddie!!!

I've had my eye on the Kona since they first came out. Finally took the plunge and got it and I couldn't be happier. It's good on gas and there's a ton of room inside, without being a huge bulky SUV. It's size is perfect. Not an issue for me but I have noticed a slight whistling sound when you get up to speed, caused by the shape of some part of the car (perhaps from the bumper slit?), it amuses me more than anything but someone else may not find it funny.

Like most I was very skeptical about buying a car online. But I did my research and google'd the company like crazy. What I found in my research is the company had laid off people due to rapid growth and during this time frame the reviews were not good at all. Which to me makes sense and most likely vroom could have done a better job to make sure customers did not feel the effects. But after that period the reviews were really good. Also they have a very high rating with the BBB. That all said I decided to purchase my Jeep Wrangler through Vroom. The entire process from start to finish was awesome! I did not do a trade but just a purchase. I submitted my request for finance and purchase on 7/29 Sunday morning and received a call 7/30 Monday morning. I spoke to the sales person which there was no pressure just Q&A. I put down a deposit so I could secure the Jeep. There was communication via email by Vroom throughout the process including when the Jeep was in route. My jeep was delivered within the time frame they explained, which was the following Friday 8/10 cleaned and in excellent condition. I received my tag and paperwork about a month after the Jeep was delivered. I have 3 kids so spending 4 hours at a dealership is not fun. I would definitely buy from Vroom again. Car buying online can NOT be this easy anywhere else. Submitted credit app, followed up on the app on Monday 6/11/18, got approved, received contracts on Wednesday 6/13/18, returned them back at a FedEx drop-off box, Vroom recevied them on Thursday 6/14/18, paid my deposit as well, Vroom Rep called me on Friday 6/15/18 and said my car had been moved to the shipping department to be inspected and prepared for shipment. On Monday 6/18/18, I received an email saying that estimated delivery day would be 6/20/18. At this point I'm over the top anxious and super excited for 6/20/18. On 6/20/18 evening, around 5:50 p.m., Vroom Rep calls and tells me that the delivery guy won't make the delivery time scheduled for 6/20/18 so it'll be 6/21/18 when he delivers the car. I received my car on 6/21/18 at 6:00 p.m. at a Wal-Mart super center parking lot. I signed the bill of lading and received my keys. Oh, and there must had been miscommunication between the delivery guy and Vroom, because before he handed me my keys he asked who was going to pay him, and I told him my shipping fees and all were included in my financing. So he said they are probably just going to send him a check. Other than that; everything went extremely smooth. I did not run into any problems other than the day delayed delivery (which wasn't a big problem). I am completely satisfied. I received my paperwork and my car all in ONE week!!! ONE week!! It does not get any better or easier than that. The car is freaking awesome, l LOVE it!! It's just like brand new on the inside and almost on the outside, I take that back, it is pratically brand new on the outside with just minor scratches and paint chips. I love love love my car!!! I would highly recommend Vroom to family and friends and to anyone looking to purchase great vehicles at reasonable costs. In the future, I plan to purchase again from Vroom. Thanks Vroom!!

Excellent Value. SE/SEL Engine feels weak on hills

Test drove a few different trim levels (AWD) at the local dealership including the Ultimate Iron Man model. I was amazed by the features at all trim levels. The only things I noticed is that the 2L engine feels a bit anemic on steep hills and mountainous terrain (with sport mode off), obviously sport mode made a significant difference as well. If you don't plan on driving Vail Pass on a regular basis, the SE and SEL versions are more than sufficient and fuel efficient. All engine types feel a little sluggish from a stop, but this is minor and easily compensated for. The Select and Ultimate versions feel significantly more sporty, with good acceleration and handling. The HUD on the Ultimate version is cool, yet I don't see much value added for the cost between the Limited and Ultimate. I'm 6'3 and fit comfortably in the driver's seat. There was sufficient feedback through the wheel, yet the steering feels a little heavy, but is still very responsive. The Kona takes corners really well, almost exactly what one would expect from a vehicle that is half-sedan-half-SUV. Back seats fit two tall adults comfortably for about 60 minutes, but may be difficult for long road trips. The electronics give a luxury feel to what is otherwise a solid budget mini-SUV. I'm impressed with the safety features offered on all trim levels. Will likely end up buying the Limited, but the SE and SEL versions are totally sufficient if you aren't planning on regularly driving over steep interstate mountain passes. Can't beat the warranty or price point for what you are getting.

Best car buying experience I have ever had. FERNANDO was amazing! He was very helpful and wasn't the pushy salesman. He was very patient as I am not the easiest person to please when buying a vehicle. But after viewing 6 cars and 4 test drives later, I finally came to an ultimate decision that he made me feel comfortable about. Not to mention their financing team worked their magic and got me a really sweet deal on payments and a pretty low interest considering my credit score. Ashley, in finance, was super helpful as well and gave me a few pointers on how to pay off the vehicle quicker and to make the interest lower in the future. Trim: SEL, AWD (2018) This car is an excellent choice if you're looking for AWD with good ground clearance in a small vehicle and excellent fuel economy. I have the SEL trim which comes with the 2.0L engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. I live in a city and commute through poorly paved and barely plowed farm land in New England with lots of snow and ice. This car performs exceptionally well. We have had very cold temperatures (averaging -15 degrees F one week) and my Kona still averaged 27.2 mpg when driving in mostly city and farm roads. In warmer temperature and the same driving conditions, the car gets 29.8 mpg. Strictly highway in optimal conditions is about 31.8 mpg. *My fuel economy is actually measured and not based on the dashboard readings* The transmission and powertrain take some time to get used to when going up and down steep hills. It often shifts to 5th gear with high revs to climb. However, after driving it for a month, it became more natural to optimize the revs and the car no longer lagged up hills or revved excessively. It was a transition for me since my previous car had a V8 engine. Although it certainly isn't a fast/powerful car, it performs very well overall and the power will get you up hills. The handling is exceptional no matter the condition. It drives wherever you steer it, even in wet, sandy, icy, or snowy conditions. I've even given coworkers rides when their Subarus weren't able to handle the snow (through ice, 8 inches unplowed, mixtures, etc.) and I have the stock tires. Sport mode is fun to drive in, although I haven't experimented enough to thoroughly review it. It improves acceleration and handling but does reduce fuel economy by 1 or 2 mpg. Normal mode is sufficient for everyday driving and gets excellent fuel economy for a car with AWD. Many people have commented that the storage space is small The Kona is one of the smallest crossovers, which makes it excellent for easy handling and parking in cities, but the downside is the smaller trunk size. The trunk is large enough for everyday items such as groceries, backpacks, duffle bags, etc. There's plenty of foot room in the cabin, and fitting four people is comfortable; thus, I usually just put the rear seats down if I have to fit large objects in the car. The biggest problem I have had is the headlight bulbs. The headlamps themselves are great but the stock bulbs barely lit 10 ft in front of me, so I replaced them with cheap H7 bulbs and they are much better. I should also mention that replacing the headlights was extremely simple. It took me less than 5 minutes to replace the low beams and high beams, which is great. Older Hyundai models were tougher to do this with so this is an excellent improvement. I think that reviewing the style is completely subjective but I have gotten many compliments on it's appearance. The more expensive trims come with a dual-clutch transmission, which is not optimal for city or hill driving, so I recommend this transmission for most drivers. It is only available with the 2.0L engine, and although it does not have superior power, it does have outstanding handling and overall performance. I recommend this, particularly if you're looking for an AWD commuting vehicle to handle sandy, off-road, or wintery (New England) conditions. It is definitely the greatest value out there for the price, particularly if you have poor driving conditions.

When beginning my car buying process, I was dealing with a salesman named Chris, who turned out to be extremely unprofessional and rude. He hung up on me when I told him that I would not be financing through the dealership. But once I arrived I met Dennis, another salesman, who was EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL. If it wasn't for him, I would not have given the dealership another thought, and would have taken my business elsewhere. Dennis was great and straightforward. Then once I picked a car and began signing all the paperwork with Rick, the finance guy, I was even more impressed. He was very personable and professional. I will be driving back to the dealership (from California to Arizona....5 1/2hrs) when I purchase my next Jeep!

I love everything about my Kono. Although my passenger speaker is going out. I’m taking it in to the dealer in a couple of days. I hope my warranty will cover it. Also like another reviewer said my warning signal doesn’t always work. I hope these fixes get straightened out..
