Let me start by saying I'm a first-time car buyer, and I had researched for the last two weeks through varying car sites. I wondered over buying used vs. new, and what was important to me in a car. I went to several dealerships in the Reno area until finally my family and I made our way to Dolan. We wanted to look at a 2018 Kia Forte. Ben rushed over when we first pulled up. He's incredible, bordering on godlike. You know, like those people that you're friends tell you'll get along with right away, yeah Ben fits every checkbox of being a remarkable human being. He immediately grabbed the car so that I could test drive it. Let me say this about Dolan; they have an excellent course for test driving. It felt like I was in a commercial. Ben killed it. He answered all my questions (which were weird), and I fell in love with the car almost immediately. Ben has a great balance in between being a car salesperson and someone who also knows which cars would fit the consumer. He supplied us with information based on what he looked for in a car and didn't look too scared when I took a turn too hard. Overall the difference between him and everyone else we had seen earlier that day was he was genuine. My family decided to think about it and left. I wanted to pick up my sister to get her in my final two cars. We decided to go back to Dolan. First, Ben once again rushed over, he got everything ready so that we could take another drive with my sister. It was another fantastic test drive, and I was prepared to talk about taking my Kia home with me. Ben made the process easy. Who knew filling out files could be fun, overall it was a painless process since Ben is very engaging. At closing time we got to see Baylee for financing, he is just as passionate about the consumer as Ben is. Baylee wrapped us up letting us look at possible add-ons, and we got some additional insurance on our electronics which lowered our interest 3 percent, he's wicked good. I can't praise them enough, nothing was more satisfying than seeing my mom wrestle with insurance and crunching numbers to finally going outside and seeing that ridiculously large bow on my car. Ben finished us off making sure I could use my keys correctly. Buying a car for the first time is a milestone, and I'm sure as xxxx glad that Ben sold me mine.

I was in mammoth and my trunk latch broke right before a snow storm on thanksgiving weekend and it wouldnt close at all. Everybody was closed and I was far from home and very worried. Luckily I called Toyota in Carson on Monday morning and they were nice enough to have me come in and get the problem fixed right away without an appointment and it was miraculous. this is all thanks to Rolando who was working there. they got the part ordered and they fixed the car the following day and I was on the road. I really appreciated that because I was in a bit of a situation I couldn't drive very far with a broken trunk and usually it takes a while to schedule an appointment so I give these guys an amazing person and consider themselves a lifesaver.

I have driven Subaru Outbacks but needed a larger vehicle with good power but also good fuel economy. My Santa Fe fits the bill. The V6 gets 28-30 mpg highway driving (except winter in MN). It's roomy and the back seats fold down easily when I need room for biking, camping or kayaking. I can also pull a boat or utility trailer with ease.

I couldn't find an AWD Ruby Wine red Tucson Ltd where I live in Calif (apparently only 2% of the cars they receive from Corporate in Calif. are AWD) and so called Reno, NV to see if they have a red one. They didnt. I was going to settle for a white one that was coming in to my local dealer, when Sales Mgr Steve from Reno called and said he was getting a red AWD shipped in from Oregon; He sent a copy of the window sticker, and it was the EXACT car I was looking for! Even had most the added accessories I wanted, such as a trailer hitch. Then he price matched my local dealer, also making sure I got every rebate and incentive I qualified for. We did this all by text and emails. Car came in a few days later than he hoped, but otherwise it all went well. The Lithia Hyundai Reno dealership is across the highway from the main airport, making a flight or one-way rental car an easy way to get there for out-of-state purchasers. Chris, in Finance, carefully explained what I had to do to register the car in California (I need to Calif. smog test a brand new 50 State certified car??!) and gave me a 15 day temporary Nevada registration so I could drive it the 260 miles home. Salesman Ali explained all the many buttons and features, 'paired' my cell phone, and signed me up for all Hyundai's online programs that tie in with the car's many features. I was playing with the Nav, XM Radio, sunroof, etc. all the way home on Hwy 80. The car got over 31mpg at 70mph, which is higher than it is rated. I love my new car!

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I have owned this car for two months and I am pleasantly surprised. I am a pre-retirement age and I needed to move to a bigger, more comfortable car for both commuting and long-distance (750+ miles) driving. A Hyundai car was a no-brainer for me because of reliability and 5-yr 60K miles warranty. So far we owned two Elantras, a Sonata, and a Tucson. Other than normal 5K mile maintenance, I don't think ALL of them together were repaired more than 5-6 times during a 10-yr time period. I chose a standard SE AWD model. For me it is sufficiently equipped and has impressive safety features. I need an AWD version since I drive in a hilly terrain and also in some snowy areas of the Midwest. Negatives first: I was disappointed when I found the car did not have a CD player. My car doesn't come with a satellite radio either. My 2008 Sonata GLS and the standard Elantra had both. However, I managed to solve both problems. Since I had Sirius XM subscription in my traded in Sonata Sirius sent me a free portable XM radio which connects through an AUX jack. I also bought an AIS car CD player for $199 which powers on and connects through one of the front USB ports. They connect to the car radio system and I can easily switch between radio, CD, and XM with one push of a button. I fit them easily into the front console box and secured them by weatherstripping foam so they look like they are a part of the dashboard. The second negative is the automatic engine Stop/Start system. It works as it pleases. Sometimes it shuts the engine immediately upon stop for a second or two but another time keeps it idling for 1-2 minutes at a long red light. The positives are interior space and very comfortable front seats and lots passenger space in the rear. Four USB ports and integrated radio, CD, XM, Android, and phone Bluetooth systems are fun to use. Under the floor rear storage spaces are very handy and I use them often. Rear seats can be reclined which is great. Rear folded seats provide 76 inch of loading space which is nothing to complain about. The 185 HP 2.4L engine provides adequate power although acceleration is rather sluggish. I was pleasantly surprised with gas mileage. 90% of my driving are short 5-10 mile commuting distances. My average mileage so far is 26-27 MPG. Occasional highway driving yields about 31-33 MPG. This is a heavier car yet it's more fuel efficient than Sonata. Large fuel tank allows for up 500+ mile range. My first long-distance test will happen later this month when I plan to drive a 2500 mile stretch across the South and Midwest.

I've always (until recently) been an "American car guy." However, I love our new Santa Fe Ultimate. The 2019 exterior re-design is much more "macho" than the previous design, interior is much nicer also. Priced $$$ less than competitive models, and Hyundai doesn't kill you with $ thousands in add ons... just buy the trim you like and nearly everything is already included, all we had to add on were mud flaps and cargo tray, so no "hidden costs." Warranty is phenomenal. Comfort is phenomenal, love the driver memory features for the seat/mirrors. Doesn't handle like my last car (2010 Shelby) but the 2.0T is peppy. As review noted a bit of turbo lag but doesn't bother me... you'd never know it was a 2 liter! Ride quality if excellent and cabin is very stylish (at least on the Ultimate). Love the 2-tone leather seating/interior (ours is a taupe brown and gray). The safety features are phenomenal, as are the LED lights, smart cruise control, 360 camera, 12 speaker system, iridescent interior/dash lights, air conditioned seats, industry-leading tech (Apple and Android car play), heads up display, etc etc. Can't say for the lower level models (noting they also come with all the safety features/lane change warning/pedestrian sensor, etc), but we love the Ultimate. Gas mileage not great with the turbo, but we do mostly city driving so 22-23 is not bad for a mid-size SUV. We're in Hawaii so no need for AWD, so we got the FWD version. Bottom line with the Ultimate you'd never know you're driving a Hyundai vice a Lexus, they've really kicked up their game and for thousands less than Honda, Toyota, Ford, etc... and best warranty in the industry. Also a Top Safety Pick +.

I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. I was referred to Texas Direct Auto/Vroom by a good friend and I???m glad I decided to go with them for my car purchase! I initially got Billie as my car sales personnel, but she seemed to be very pushy and just aiming to make quick sale; which is something that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with her for a while I advised I would give her a call back to speak with my financial advisor on proceeding further on this process with Vroom. When I called back I got a different agent that saw in the system that saw I was talking to Billie and advised me that she would give me a call back in 5 mins, well 30 mins passed and I called back upset because I did not hear back from her after she ran my credit and didn???t like the fact I wasn???t trying to put 2500 down. My credit score was excellent I had a 740, but I didn???t have enough credit history she said is the reason why she kept asking me to put so much money down on 23k 24k car. The last time I called upset after not hearing anything from her a gentleman by the name of Shannon Humbles answered and I advised him that I did not want to work with Billie anymore because she made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt like she didn???t personally care about helping me through the process of the purchase. Shannon is an ALLSTAR!! He went over and beyond the call of duty to help me make this purchase!!! 7 days later my vehicle sits in my parking garage and I love it! The process was so easy to purchase, I had to put 1500 which is the standard, instead of 2800 that???s Billie was demanding that I put down! Please go with Vroom! I saw a couple bad reviews and I know every process has its flaws, but I???m here to tell you, they work! They are a very good company and I look forward to making another purchase with them for my girlfriend???s Christmas gift! Thanks Shannon and Vroom!!!!

Lithia Hyundai of Reno, Has been sending me Flyers in the Mail fore over 2 years,too Apply for credit,on a used Truck or Car.But I wanted to make Sure I was secure in my job for a year, Before I made the call to Lithia Hyundai of Reno.For the main reason,I have received these flyers,from other car lots. I would go there ,get walked to the back of the lot.And shown a car older than mine with twice as many miles! And really NO help From the unsaid car lot! So I called Lithia Hyundai of Reno,Talked to Pete Montalvo,Salesman, Followed up by a call from Danielle Doane sales MGR, & David Lennox ,Finance MGR. Hey these people sounded like they Really are trying to help me! But I still wasn't convinced .But I did do some looking on LINE AT THERE 4 X 4 TRUCKS. A message popped up saying I could get a Coupon for $300.00 on a New or Used, Car or Truck. If I made an appointment To meet ! So I made one,still not really believing ,or holding out on to much hope! I went to Lithia Hyundai of Reno, with my lists of Trucks & $300.00 coupon. MAN, WHAT HAPPENED NEXT! In comes Danielle Doane,To help with Questions & paper work. She was a real help. & a smart cookie,Answered all my Questions. Not to mention( Prettiest eyes, I told my girlfriend a man would buy anything from her! LOL I got slapped! Bt she really was the worker with the paper work. Pete got me a deal with my car ,M & WITH IN MY BUDGET!,I was HAPPY,THIS IS HAPPENING! Now on to the Finance MGR,David Lennox, He not only got me Financing, but a 2 year Warranty on this 5 year old truck for Only $25.00 more! Covering all the main things on the truck that could have problems,Engine & parts & Tranny! It also pays for every 3 months oil changes , Wow This place Rocks! Only thing that was forgot was Pete was going to put 5 gallons of gas & have the trucked washed. So Pete owes me Gas! LOL! We got gas on the corner on Kietzke ln. Pete also gave me advice to bring down my finance charge in 6 months, Witch is in the Works Now! So I got a Great work Truck. We loved the Santa Fe so much. It was comfortable, well thought out interior, nice exterior, fun to drive. It fit our needs perfectly until we had another child and had to squeeze another carseat in. We often travel, so with all our little people and their stuff, we needed to get a bigger car. But I really, really miss our Santa Fe.

The lease on my Lexus was up and we needed a vehicle that seated at least 6 people. To find that in a new Lexus meant spending in excess of $60,000. At the urging of my wife and not wanting to be a car snob, I did a little online shopping: Enter the Hyundai Santa Fe "Limited Ultimate" with Tech Package. This vehicle is packed with features you can't even get on other cars, or, they're available at a price point that is tens of thousands of dollars higher! As I sat in the car I didn't see a two thousand dollar difference, let alone a twenty thousand dollar difference. And after a short trip on the freeway I was blown away by the ride quality and solitude the quiet cabin provided. Being a Lexus owner for 4 years, and BMW owner before that, my expectations were quite high. In fact, my initial plan was to just lease another Lexus, I'm glad I didn't. The quality of the car I ended up buying at the price I paid is easily the biggest "no brainer" decision I've been faced with in a while. If you are in the market for a premium SUV do yourself a favor and check out a Hyundai Santa Fe, you will be glad you did, and you'll save a boatload of money in the process!

Upgraded from a 2015 CRV and after test-driving a 2019 CRV. Better cargo space, more comfortable design for the driver, larger passenger seats. Only slight disappointments are the under-powered engine and the inconsistent cruise control (even without the car length setting engaged). It's only been 1 month of ownership, but it's been fun!
