So my wife and I decided our 18-year old BMW wagon was ready to be passed down and we had to replace it. Then our Small SUV broke down and we had to look at another car at the same time. We were looking to buy/lease two new cars. We were hoping for a BOGO, but couldn't find one. A friend recommended we speak with Craig Rusin. We went to BMW because our prior experience was 18-years great. When I arrived I asked for Craig and, lo and behold, I was talking with him. I explained I wanted to replace my SUV and possibly my wagon. He asked a few questions and we agreed to look at the X5 and the X3. Within 10 minutes we were in a parking lot test driving the X3. Craig's product knowledge made me feel like I was at The Phoenix Car Show which I attend each November. He explained the "Hold" feature and the benefit in traffic. Craig sat in the back seat and asked if he looked cramped. When I said "No," he replied, "and I am six-four!" I test drove the car on roads I drive every day so I could compare with my current cars. He sat quietly while I assessed the cabin's sounds and road noise (Virtually NONE). Craig had tremendous knowledge of the specifications (recommended tire pressure, the difference between SPORT mode and ECO-Pro mode gear ratios, and back seat size compared to the competition) and he never mentioned "Cup Holder" once - Thank you. He also was able to describe the various packages and told me if I built my car online he would find it or help with the ordering process. I said I needed to have my wife see the car and drive, so Craig told me his schedule and did not rush me to pick her up. He knew I was in the market and he did not rush my family's car buying process! I told him I was aware it was the end of the month and I was aware of the special deals that may expire and he never brought it up again as a reason to buy now. After my wife's test drive (both the X3 and X5) we selected a different X3 configuration and closed the deal with a different package and features at 9:55 PM. Seriously, 31-minutes later; I checked the clock (10:26 PM) as I drove the new X3 off the lot. We're loving our new X3 and highly recommend Craig Rusin and the whole Chapman BMW On Camelback team. Two days later, Caleb Spurlin (BMW Genius) walked me through how to actually use the X3. Two weeks later he emailed me and invited me to come in and clear up any questions or learn some tips and tricks. We liked our experience with Craig and his team so much we did it again the next day. Stay tuned...

Can't believe it was almost twelve years ago that Steven LeSueur and I met when he assisted me with securing the fourth car in my lifetime; a Volvo 2005 S40 T5. I thought it was the best machine that was ever made. Sadly, it was totaled in mid-October in a collision. No one hurt, thankfully. I had an excellent Service Advisor, Taras, and he took great care of me, with some specific preferences I had. When I called very early in the morning for the appointment, I requested that day, and they were able to get me in the same day. The mechanics don't seem to get mentioned on here very much, so thank you to the great technician too! The waiting area is also nice, service waiting area and customer waiting area, with TV, Keurig machine, many various options on the flavors, bottled water, and danish/muffin assortment. While there, I also visited the accessories store, and purchased a BMW mouse pad. It's very nice, thin, special backing that prevents it from sliding, and has a photo on it of the new i8 sports car. The gentlemen who helped me in the parts/accessories store was very nice and professional, and answered questions for me on other things that I was looking at. My husband and I also got the chance to say hello to Alan and Elliott, who are also the best you'll find in the business, and Bob, our salesperson was not in yet, but he is awesome too! I love this dealership! --------------- Additional Note ------------- ***** Does anyone know why the oil they used was not the exact one recommended in the warranty and service manuals? The parts number for the oil was different, and the manual was pretty specific about this, per Page 7 of the PDF Service Manual as follows: "... vehicles are factory-filled with BMW High Performance Synthetic oils.We recommend BMW High Performance 5W-30 Synthetic Oil (BMW part number 07 51 0 017 866) for regular scheduled engine oil changes." I tried to find a logical explanation on the internet, and it seemed others had discussed this as well in the BMW forum.

I would highly recommend Craig Rusin at Chapman BMW to anyone considering purchasing or leasing a new/used vehicle. Buying a car can be challenging even for the most experienced car buyer. Every situation is different and mine was definitely different but I learned a lot but not without the expertise of my sales manager, Craig Rusin . I work in sales and have always had a company car/fleet vehicle with corporate insurance. Recently I switched jobs and knew I would be getting a monthly car stipend vs a corporate vehicle. Craig Rusin was the definition of professionalism and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process while being a expert on every model Chapman BMW had on the lot. I knew I wanted a BMW but I did not know which model however Craig Rusin was patient with me while explaining the features of every model we looked at. Like I said my situation was different and having corporate car insurance in my companies name meant I would have a "gap" in insurance even though I was driving 15-20k miles each year for the past 4 plus years without incident(knock on wood). Craig Rusin recommended insurance companies with the lowest rates and was involved in steps where he didn't have to participate but he did and I am thankful for his knowledge. Craig Rusin has earned a customer for life!!

The A/C started blowing hot air, which is not good in Phoenix when it's 105, one phone call to service and quick trip to the dealership and David took it from there. He got the vehicle in and the Technician quickly had it fixed. The Service Drive Staff was very Polite and Professional throughout the whole experience.

I have owned this car for two months and I am pleasantly surprised. I am a pre-retirement age and I needed to move to a bigger, more comfortable car for both commuting and long-distance (750+ miles) driving. A Hyundai car was a no-brainer for me because of reliability and 5-yr 60K miles warranty. So far we owned two Elantras, a Sonata, and a Tucson. Other than normal 5K mile maintenance, I don't think ALL of them together were repaired more than 5-6 times during a 10-yr time period. I chose a standard SE AWD model. For me it is sufficiently equipped and has impressive safety features. I need an AWD version since I drive in a hilly terrain and also in some snowy areas of the Midwest. Negatives first: I was disappointed when I found the car did not have a CD player. My car doesn't come with a satellite radio either. My 2008 Sonata GLS and the standard Elantra had both. However, I managed to solve both problems. Since I had Sirius XM subscription in my traded in Sonata Sirius sent me a free portable XM radio which connects through an AUX jack. I also bought an AIS car CD player for $199 which powers on and connects through one of the front USB ports. They connect to the car radio system and I can easily switch between radio, CD, and XM with one push of a button. I fit them easily into the front console box and secured them by weatherstripping foam so they look like they are a part of the dashboard. The second negative is the automatic engine Stop/Start system. It works as it pleases. Sometimes it shuts the engine immediately upon stop for a second or two but another time keeps it idling for 1-2 minutes at a long red light. The positives are interior space and very comfortable front seats and lots passenger space in the rear. Four USB ports and integrated radio, CD, XM, Android, and phone Bluetooth systems are fun to use. Under the floor rear storage spaces are very handy and I use them often. Rear seats can be reclined which is great. Rear folded seats provide 76 inch of loading space which is nothing to complain about. The 185 HP 2.4L engine provides adequate power although acceleration is rather sluggish. I was pleasantly surprised with gas mileage. 90% of my driving are short 5-10 mile commuting distances. My average mileage so far is 26-27 MPG. Occasional highway driving yields about 31-33 MPG. This is a heavier car yet it's more fuel efficient than Sonata. Large fuel tank allows for up 500+ mile range. My first long-distance test will happen later this month when I plan to drive a 2500 mile stretch across the South and Midwest.

Very disappointed with our service here. Our 2015 sonatas lease came to an end so we went to the Bell Rd location to drop it off. The salesman convinced us to lease a new 2018 sonata and have my old 2007 Toyota Corolla as a down payment and they would take care of the remaining payments (which was ONE payment of $193). We just got a bill for this last payment saying it was overdue. We called Chapman Hyundai and spoke to the manager Alex. He said the guy who sold us the car no longer works there and there's no record anywhere saying they would take care of the remaining payment. I explained this is what we were told and we weren't even going to lease another car that day but with all the good deals that were being offered we thought, why not? He told me he would call me back to see if there's anything they could do. I waited the whole day and no call back. I called the next day and he said no, that's not what we agreed on and we can give you 2 complimentary oil changes (worth $40). I explained this is more than money now, this is just good business and having integrity. I asked if he could at least give us one more free oil change and he said (again) I will call you back. And guess What? He has never called me back. This is such poor service, especially in dealing with the Manager himself I thought he would at least uphold their word. It's $193 profit for them now but a for sure $1000's loss later when we decide not to lease through them again. Update-thanks to the manager George, we received a full refund. Thank you George for being a man of your word, much appreciated!

I've always (until recently) been an "American car guy." However, I love our new Santa Fe Ultimate. The 2019 exterior re-design is much more "macho" than the previous design, interior is much nicer also. Priced $$$ less than competitive models, and Hyundai doesn't kill you with $ thousands in add ons... just buy the trim you like and nearly everything is already included, all we had to add on were mud flaps and cargo tray, so no "hidden costs." Warranty is phenomenal. Comfort is phenomenal, love the driver memory features for the seat/mirrors. Doesn't handle like my last car (2010 Shelby) but the 2.0T is peppy. As review noted a bit of turbo lag but doesn't bother me... you'd never know it was a 2 liter! Ride quality if excellent and cabin is very stylish (at least on the Ultimate). Love the 2-tone leather seating/interior (ours is a taupe brown and gray). The safety features are phenomenal, as are the LED lights, smart cruise control, 360 camera, 12 speaker system, iridescent interior/dash lights, air conditioned seats, industry-leading tech (Apple and Android car play), heads up display, etc etc. Can't say for the lower level models (noting they also come with all the safety features/lane change warning/pedestrian sensor, etc), but we love the Ultimate. Gas mileage not great with the turbo, but we do mostly city driving so 22-23 is not bad for a mid-size SUV. We're in Hawaii so no need for AWD, so we got the FWD version. Bottom line with the Ultimate you'd never know you're driving a Hyundai vice a Lexus, they've really kicked up their game and for thousands less than Honda, Toyota, Ford, etc... and best warranty in the industry. Also a Top Safety Pick +.

After stopping in to see Bill Lohmeyer twice in two weeks to consider buying the new Mazda CX-5, I finally made a purchase decision on Friday and will be bidding a fond farewell to my 16-year-old Protege. Breaking up is hard to do, as that little car fit me like a glove, and moved me between Arizona and Colorado more than once. So, it???s with mixed emotions that I step into something bigger. I had considered a Honda CR-V and Subaru, but the Mazda interior, ride and quiet cabin really stood out. Plus, I was partial to how my old Mazda handled going up and down curvy canyons. Bill was genuinely patient, kind and considerate with me as a lead, since I initially reached out back in March and then had to postpone the shopping experience. I appreciated his approach after being inundated with calls, emails and texts from a few other local dealers while trying to research cars online. I was an indecisive shopper, as the combination of trim, color and drive (AWD vs FWD) that I wanted was no longer available. Bill and Paul Dodge came up with alternate recommendations, made some concessions on upgrades/add-ons I had not wanted, and I FINALLY made a decision. They were both straight-forward, very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I feel they genuinely care about their customers. Elizabeth Gutierrez was a whiz at the paperwork and even the GM stopped by. He offered to have the car delivered???but since I was from Sedona (two-hours away), I ultimately passed. After shopping around, the 2019 Santa Fe Limited was the car for me. It is beautiful inside and out. It has very IMPRESSIVE safety features. It is very roomy with plenty of leg room, front and back. The ride is very smooth. I LOVE everything about it.

I scheduled my service on line to replace a rear passenger seat latch. I showed up at my schedule time - 7:30 am and was greeted promptly, taken directly to my service advisor - Michael DeLillo. After being asked if I need a loaner, 5 minutes later I was in my loaner vehicle. I was notified by Michael that afternoon that a part needed to ordered but that my vehicle would be ready the following day. As promised, I received the call that my vehicle was ready, I arrived at 5:00, dropped off the loaner and 15 minutes later I was on the road with my repair completed. Fast, courteous, efficient service as usual.

This car was almost perfect. Never had any mechanical issues. Never damaged and loaded with every possible feature for 2015. Kept in our garage always. Perfect car with 3 rows. Rides 7 comfortably. Beautiful inside and out.

Just returned home from Camelback Toyota in Phoenix with another purchase, this time a used car. The car wasn't my first choice, nor my 3rd. but since it was for a college daughter to use far away from home, her wants & desires were also important. And, it turns out, I am very happy with the result. To be clear, I don't like salesmen. But I trust John DeArmond and really feel that he, and the dealership, puts my interests first. Obviously there is a bottom line. Yet, I also feel like I got a pretty good deal. This is the second vehicle we purchased from him and Camelback Toyota. The first was a new car 5 years ago. Which @ 80,000 miles now has still had NO problems and still drives like a dream. Not only was the sale an excellent experience, but the AFTER sale experience has been outstanding. John has kept in touch, literally for years, genuinely concerned that our experience was continuing to be nothing but the best. He's always been available for questions and advice regarding our purchase and other car related information. For basic tune-up stuff we have a nearby shop we like to go to. But I when we have a dealer specific thing to be done to our car, such as the 50,000 or 75,000 check, we go to the dealer. This dealer. We always feel helped and never used. So when we decided to replace the 20 year old car our girl was driving, he was the first thought of where to turn. Oh, we checked out Cars.com and the rental car companies, but our first choice was to call John. And I'm glad we did. The car buying experience can be frustrating. I've purchase at least 20 cars in my lifetime, both new and used, and really love just how painless and easy these guys make the process. Truly no pressure. Yes, they are a business, and so yes, they want you to buy a car, preferably from them. But, it's really about choices. MY choices. MY preferences, and what they can do to HELP me in fulfilling them. We gave John our parameters a couple of weeks ago and he came up with several choices that day. Spent several hours with him last week going through and driving different cars before finally deciding on a choice vehicle. We put a hold on it and when our college girl was home on spring break a last Sunday, we had her try them out. But, LOL, it turned out she liked something completely different. However, it was no problem for these guys, probably used to people changing their minds. Did I spend more than if I'd bought from an individual? Well... yes and no. Yes I paid at or below the "blue book" price. But I am also sure, and comfortable in the knowledge that this vehicle doesn't have any major problems. Nor is it likely to have any "minor" ones any time soon. And.. paying slightly more than the "suggested retail price" we were able to include an extended warranty that will take care of any problems for several years to come. Did they make a profit. Sure. But I definitely also got a deal. I'm happy, spouse is happy, child's happy. So, I've got another happy car purchase, and will be calling him again, probably in another 5 years. Because, and this is important, they're not in this business for just one sale, they're in it for the long run.

The design and luxurious feel in this car is excellent. The redesign is a plus for the Sante Fe. More safety features and high-end options that are standard. Best warranty​ in the market place.

I had the pleasure of buying our first family vehicle in 2015 from Licia at Volvo of Tempe. As my wife and I began our search in the spring of 2015, we started to land on the new 2016 Volvo XC90. The only problem was for as much as there was available online with videos, written first impressions, previews, etc, the car was just not available anywhere in the US to test drive. I reached out to Volvo of Tempe and came in contact with Licia who kept us up-to-date on when their first models would arrive on the lot for a test drive. The moment the first test drive model arrived into Volvo of Tempe, my wife and I took an initial test drive and were hooked. Licia and the rest of the team were very accommodating throughout the entire test drive process allowing us to come back to the dealership multiple times to test drive additional 2016 XC90 models that had more of the bells and whistles my wife and I were looking for (ie: B&W sound package, HUD, Inscription package, etc). Additionally we placed our order through Licia for an overseas delivery at their factory in Gothenburg, Sweden which she was very knowledgeable in. Overall the ordering process, even for an OSD was extremely easy (locked in public pricing). After our initial order was placed, we booked our tickets to go to Sweden and picked up the car at the factory about 3 months later. We had a trip of a lifetime with about 1000 road miles in Europe and turned the car back into the factory where it was shipped to the Tempe dealership and arrived about a month later. We took the car in for an upgrade of the Volvo Sensus connect once the Apple Carplay came out and the car spent less than a day in the shop. Overall we've been very happy with the ordering and service experience (including the OSD delivery in Sweden), and would highly recommend anyone interested in a Volvo to do the same overseas process and purchase through our awesome Internet sales agent Licia for their next new car! Best car buying experience I have ever had. FERNANDO was amazing! He was very helpful and wasn't the pushy salesman. He was very patient as I am not the easiest person to please when buying a vehicle. But after viewing 6 cars and 4 test drives later, I finally came to an ultimate decision that he made me feel comfortable about. Not to mention their financing team worked their magic and got me a really sweet deal on payments and a pretty low interest considering my credit score. Ashley, in finance, was super helpful as well and gave me a few pointers on how to pay off the vehicle quicker and to make the interest lower in the future. I felt a good vibe with all the staff and didn't get that shady just put you in any car that would benefit them scenario. Fernando made the process as smooth as possible and even gave me a fair offer on my trade in which was a MAJOR clunker on the outside. I highly recommend this place and if you go to ask for FERNANDO. Upgraded from a 2015 CRV and after test-driving a 2019 CRV. Better cargo space, more comfortable design for the driver, larger passenger seats. Only slight disappointments are the under-powered engine and the inconsistent cruise control (even without the car length setting engaged). It's only been 1 month of ownership, but it's been fun!

The A/C started blowing hot air, which is not good in Phoenix when it's 105, one phone call to service and quick trip to the dealership and David took it from there. He got the vehicle in and the Technician quickly had it fixed. The Service Drive Staff was very Polite and Professional throughout the whole experience.

Just drove 1200 miles and no complaints to report. Great ride! Comfortable for 4 adults. Held all my camping equipment with room to spare. Fits my needs.
