I have owned this car for two months and I am pleasantly surprised. I am a pre-retirement age and I needed to move to a bigger, more comfortable car for both commuting and long-distance (750+ miles) driving. A Hyundai car was a no-brainer for me because of reliability and 5-yr 60K miles warranty. So far we owned two Elantras, a Sonata, and a Tucson. Other than normal 5K mile maintenance, I don't think ALL of them together were repaired more than 5-6 times during a 10-yr time period. I chose a standard SE AWD model. For me it is sufficiently equipped and has impressive safety features. I need an AWD version since I drive in a hilly terrain and also in some snowy areas of the Midwest. Negatives first: I was disappointed when I found the car did not have a CD player. My car doesn't come with a satellite radio either. My 2008 Sonata GLS and the standard Elantra had both. However, I managed to solve both problems. Since I had Sirius XM subscription in my traded in Sonata Sirius sent me a free portable XM radio which connects through an AUX jack. I also bought an AIS car CD player for $199 which powers on and connects through one of the front USB ports. They connect to the car radio system and I can easily switch between radio, CD, and XM with one push of a button. I fit them easily into the front console box and secured them by weatherstripping foam so they look like they are a part of the dashboard. The second negative is the automatic engine Stop/Start system. It works as it pleases. Sometimes it shuts the engine immediately upon stop for a second or two but another time keeps it idling for 1-2 minutes at a long red light. The positives are interior space and very comfortable front seats and lots passenger space in the rear. Four USB ports and integrated radio, CD, XM, Android, and phone Bluetooth systems are fun to use. Under the floor rear storage spaces are very handy and I use them often. Rear seats can be reclined which is great. Rear folded seats provide 76 inch of loading space which is nothing to complain about. The 185 HP 2.4L engine provides adequate power although acceleration is rather sluggish. I was pleasantly surprised with gas mileage. 90% of my driving are short 5-10 mile commuting distances. My average mileage so far is 26-27 MPG. Occasional highway driving yields about 31-33 MPG. This is a heavier car yet it's more fuel efficient than Sonata. Large fuel tank allows for up 500+ mile range. My first long-distance test will happen later this month when I plan to drive a 2500 mile stretch across the South and Midwest.

Don???t waste your time going anywhere else. I contacted this dealership for a quote. Received an email back from angel gomez right away with a quote that was lower then anywhere else for a new 2017 CX-5. I went to Schaumburg Mazda before this and had a terrible experience. Wilkins listed there car as new AND IT ACTUALLY WAS NEW, not a loaner with 2200 miles on it or a car that employees have been driving with 6k miles on it. I worked with Ed Chwal who was incredibly easy to work with, very knowledgeable and most importantly did not bs around. Save yourself the headache and just go see Ed. Call angel before going too. These guys made the car buying experience actually enjoyable which is rare.

I've always (until recently) been an "American car guy." However, I love our new Santa Fe Ultimate. The 2019 exterior re-design is much more "macho" than the previous design, interior is much nicer also. Priced $$$ less than competitive models, and Hyundai doesn't kill you with $ thousands in add ons... just buy the trim you like and nearly everything is already included, all we had to add on were mud flaps and cargo tray, so no "hidden costs." Warranty is phenomenal. Comfort is phenomenal, love the driver memory features for the seat/mirrors. Doesn't handle like my last car (2010 Shelby) but the 2.0T is peppy. As review noted a bit of turbo lag but doesn't bother me... you'd never know it was a 2 liter! Ride quality if excellent and cabin is very stylish (at least on the Ultimate). Love the 2-tone leather seating/interior (ours is a taupe brown and gray). The safety features are phenomenal, as are the LED lights, smart cruise control, 360 camera, 12 speaker system, iridescent interior/dash lights, air conditioned seats, industry-leading tech (Apple and Android car play), heads up display, etc etc. Can't say for the lower level models (noting they also come with all the safety features/lane change warning/pedestrian sensor, etc), but we love the Ultimate. Gas mileage not great with the turbo, but we do mostly city driving so 22-23 is not bad for a mid-size SUV. We're in Hawaii so no need for AWD, so we got the FWD version. Bottom line with the Ultimate you'd never know you're driving a Hyundai vice a Lexus, they've really kicked up their game and for thousands less than Honda, Toyota, Ford, etc... and best warranty in the industry. Also a Top Safety Pick +.

Upgraded from a 2015 CRV and after test-driving a 2019 CRV. Better cargo space, more comfortable design for the driver, larger passenger seats. Only slight disappointments are the under-powered engine and the inconsistent cruise control (even without the car length setting engaged). It's only been 1 month of ownership, but it's been fun!

I'm writing this review based on the incredible experience I had with Dan Meegan, one of the Sales Managers at Napleton Loren Hyundai. I came to Dan a the end of my rope. My 2015 Hyundai had been leased through Grossinger Hyundai in Lincolnwood,and after multiple unreturned phone calls from them plus a bizarre interaction where the phone rep insisted that she had spoken with me and had scheduled an appointment with me (both untrue), I was on the search for a Hyundai dealership that would provide some much needed honest customer service. Enter Dan Meegan. Dan promptly returned my email and understood that it was easiest for me to correspond via email versus over the phone due to my schedule. Positive points for this. I can't tell you how many times I tried to email Grossinger and only received phone calls in return. What is the point of asking you to email me if you just continue to call me?! UGH! Anyway - so Dan and I proceeded to email throughout the day while I explained my situation and he searched for what might be a good solution. Do you know what the solution ended up being? Waiting and not leasing a new car right now. I am not sure what other dealership would have been this honest with me. Instead, they would have finagled to get me in, fast talked me into confusion and then put me in a lease I was uncomfortable with. Not Dan. I cannot tell you how much his honesty and interest in doing the "right thing" meant to me. I can lease/buy a car anywhere - but without a doubt, at the end of the year, I will be going to see Dan at Napleton Loren Hyundai. Such a great guy. Thanks again Dan...and sorry for the belated review. Life is crazy!!! :)

Great power with the turbo (a bit of turbo lag but for a 4 cyclinder you get V6 pep). The two-tone interior is beautiful (noting we opted for the Ultimate model, FWD only... in Hawaii so no need for AWD). The tech is incredible (heads up display, Android/Apple car play, 12 speaker sound system, nav system, AC vented seats, numerous USB ports, and particularly the elecontronic warning systems (standard by the way on all models) and 360 view camera (option). Ride is also smooth and handles well. Overall the car just feels very solid... and sounds solid when you close the doors. With the 100K warranty and at about $6K below most of the competition -- and $20K or more less than the luxury SUVs (many with less tech/features) this purchase was a no brainer. Also love the redesigned front end. This is our 2nd Hyundai, first was very reliable for 7 years but we traded in to upgrade to the Sante Fe. Very happy with our purchase.

I called from St. Louis to this Chicago Dealer just before New Years. Angel Gomez took my call and answered my questions about a CPO 2015 Mazda 6. He went outside in the 0 degree weather and took a video of the car for me, inside and out. Angel, sent me all information I need to make an offer and purchase the car. I flew to Chicago, picked the car up yesterday and drove it back to St. Louis. The car was even in better condition than the pictures and video showed. It was in Excellent condition and it was priced as low as I could find within a 500 mile radius of my home. I had never owned a Hyundai/Kia car prior to my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe’s purchase. Nobody I knew had owned a Korean car to ask for opinions. After months of reading, viewing videos and test drives, I have come to the decision to purchase the first Hyundai vehicle. In this day and age, not taking enough time to do research is a missed opportunity for car buyers. As I had taken my time, I got better ideas what I would like to have in my next car and cross-shopped for the car I wanted. I kept an eye on the prices for a while, negotiated for price matches, and then pulled the trigger when best offers are available. Also through my research, my branding sentiments for Hyundai and Kia was also changed. Potential buyers should be able to find lots of information about good value and quality in Korean cars in the last 5-10 years. Don’t just read experts’ reviews, I have valued lots of average users’ reviews. I am aware of the current recalls (engine fire), which I am not too concerned about in the newest 2019 models. In general, there are a lot more positive reviews from Hyundai/Kia car owners than I had expected. For the new 2019 Santa Fe, I love the new exterior design and the interior’s modern layout. It feels spacious on the inside, specially second row seats. The all functions are so easy to use and they just work. Fit-and-finish is excellent. Good choice of materials using on the inside show good overall quality for the vehicle. All premium features (Ultimate trim) you can only find in the high-end cars, on top of the standard safety features. Best warranty in the industry. IIHS & NHTSA crash tests are highly rated. 3-yr BlueLink Remote Service is a plus. I find this car more suitable for family people like me on daily commute, occasional road/camping trips. It depends on your priorities, but I like the practicality and active safety features in this car. I am also very impressed on how comfortable and quiet this Santa Fe handles on the roads. My Ultimate trim is equipped with all LED lamps. These help illuminate the roads better at night and also look more upscale. For engine performance, I wished they would have added a few more horses for the naturally aspirated engine option or V6 for some more towing capacity. For what it is, I still think it’s adequate for most of my normal driving. I guess Hyundai has chosen practicality, utility and comfortability over performance. Like other high tech industries, auto industry is changing fast too. The race to earn more market share is more competitive than ever, especially in the SUV segments (wait until Chinese cars can join this party). I’ve known Hyundai quality have improved greatly in the last 20 years. But when it comes to purchasing one, people tend to go back to their trusted older brands. It’s a safe choice for a big purchase, I understand that. Nevertheless, I think Hyundai and Kia are doing the right things. They obviously try harder to win you over. Bottom line is, I initially chose the 2019 Santa Fe over other popular choices (Highlander, Pilot, Murano, Outback etc.) because of the best value for what I can get. Judging from the experience so far, I am quite happy with the decision. My perception is now changed positively about the brand. Hopefully, my long-term ownership of the car is also positive. Just a personal experience on how I changed and became a new Hyundai car owner.

Love all of the room in this vehicle. The back seats fold down totally flat so I can camp in it or haul stuff. Love the sunroof! I hate that the engine turns off at a complete stop but it has a button to turn that feature off. Not something that is easy to get use to. My only complaint. Other than that the car is awesome. Had a Camry XLE previously. This is my first Hyundai so keeping my fingers crossed!

Being a senior citizen means (among other thing) that I can't turn my head from side to side like an owl. So, the blind-spot detection really useful. The car also has the (now standard) rear viewscreen, lane change detection and the rear cross traffic detection. It is easy to get in and out of - easier (for me) than the Honda CRV or the Toyota Rav4. It can handle apple cartalk (which I don't have) and android auto (which I do have). My wife (also a senior) doesn' like driving in traffic, but we were in Los Angeles last week, and, with the assistance of google maps using android auto, she handled the traffic extremely well. All in all, I really like the bundle.

I have been with Pugi since my first Hyundai purchase back in 2009 from Ross. Before my last purchase, I have owned two Hyundai’s from them. I have also brought them both to be serviced at Hyundai as well as a Mazda serviced their Mazda dealership. The one thing that keeps me coming back has been the people. From Service Writer Anthony to Sales Person Ross, I am continuously treated like a member of their family. In addition to this, and without getting too much into the details, Pugi’s management team and support staff are top notch. When I had an issue with the dealership, I was advised to contact Gary Nudelman, GM for all three stores. He listened and advised that I would be contacted by David Novak, GM for the Hyundai dealership. David called later that day and also listened. This is a very big deal for me, because it tells me that the management team for Pugi does listen, and, if within reason, will go above and beyond to try and make it right. For some, loyalty does not mean much, but to me loyalty is everything, especially when it comes to large purchases such as vehicles as well as vehicle service. It takes a lot to develop trust with an organization, and when you begin trusting, you really don’t want to go anywhere else. Because of this, I would like to personally thank Gary Nudelman and David Novak in reaching out to me. Their loyalty to me as their customer was demonstrated when they first returned my call and listened. Because of their efforts, I have returned and purchased my third Hyundai from them. Another reason why I love this dealership, is that they don’t try to entice you by posting prices on cars.com with all the rebates being applied, if you qualify. This is the key phrase, “IF YOU QUALIFY”. There is no "lure you into their dealership only to tell you that you didn't qualify" like other Hyundai dealerships such as Bob Rohrman’s Hyundai in Gurnee or Happy Hyundai in Oak Lawn (check Cars.com if you don’t believe me. My filters were for a NEW, TUCSON, VALUE, AWD, and you will see some outrageous discounts. I can only confirm because I did speak to their sales reps (names withheld, but it was a male from Gurnee and a female from Happy) and was told that I had to qualify, and wanted to know what discounts did I qualify for. As of this post, it should be known that the first two dealerships that show up are both Gurnee Hyundai and Happy Hyundai when you filter for the lowest price. When you purchase a vehicle from Pugi, as I have in the past, they really do try to make the process simple. What is great is that, towards the end, and even though they showed you the key features and went over the vehicle when you first looked at it, they go over the vehicle with you a final time and are open to asking questions. Ross was even open to pairing my phone to our Tucson. I would also like to continue to thank my Salesperson Ross Sparcio and my service writer, who is now in Volkwagen, Anthony Carbone. As I mentioned earlier, these two individuals are, literally, the main reason why I continued to return to Pugi for my Hyundai and Mazda needs. On a final note, it states quality of repairs. As I technically did not have a repair, I did request that they perform a service to install an OEM remote starter. Starter works as advertised and starts from four floors up.

Just leased a 2017 Mazda CX-9 GT and could NOT be happier!! Have only had the car for almost two weeks and it is for sure impressive, but MOST of all, it is roomy safe which is exactly what we were looking for expecting our first child in October. Enough about the car, what I want to review is the dealership itself. I honestly left feeling like family and as if I have a bunch more friends I can reach out to at ANY time if I have any car questions, and feel certain I will get honest answers. Not one person, from my sales rep, to the finance team, to the service team and the porters made me feel anything less than a friend or family. They all talked to me and were super excited with me throughout this process. Coming from a business field, one of the things that make me know this was real, I had some extra time in the finance department with one of the team members who has been in the business for many years, but at Pugi for less than a year, and the way he talked about the upper management is like the environment I want to be in. He had nothing but great things to say and talked about how they made him feel like family. And he was not the only team member who felt that way. That says a LOT about how the business is run. This is a dealer who cares about their team and it shows through how the team treats the customers - truly like family! I have always owned my cars, and this was the first time I leased. BUT, even more than the fear of doing something different, I felt like this team actually LISTENED to me and heard what my wants and concerns were and found a super reliable car that will fit our needs size wise as well as safety, in a budget that works for us. I wholeheartedly feel like the team at Pugi actually CARES about their customers. In the world of car sales, it can be very traumatic trying to make the "perfect" decision on a large investment item that can literally hold your life, and not knowing who to trust...I'm telling you, you can TRUST Pugi and their team to listen, be honest and help you to feel comfortable in the decision you made. I will NOT go to another dealer after this. The owner even came out and talked to me! And was most interested in ME and making sure I was happy. You don't get that service at other dealers...at least I never have. Super impressed by them, super happy with our end result, and super comfortable I can trust this team. (added bonus - they have an awesome Starbucks machine in their waiting room!!)

I decided to go for this 2019 Santa Fe 2.4L ultimate coming from the 2016 sonata because of the legroom and new features this car offered. I love the new design and all the features that the ultimate trim 2.4L trim has, but after just 3days driving, it was clear that this car has some performance issue. The car starts and shifts very slowly. I tried different driving mode but not result. I am worried about engine failure or another issue since.

Although my wife has been getting her car serviced here for almost 10 years, I started out my search using TrueCar through my employee benefit hub. I was contacted by several dealers, Infiniti of CH was just one of them. They didn't come in the lowest with their pricing initially, but since my wife had a favorable experience with their service department, I decided to deal with them first in person. Email communication was prompt and straightforward with Nina. I took the day off planning on test driving the Q50 Sport and Red Sport. Upon arriving at the dealership I noticed how nice and well maintained it was. We were introduced to Jeff, our salesperson. He was very personable and seemed very knowledgable of the cars. I've had previous buying experiences where I knew more about the car I was purchasing than the employees. Not so with Jeff. He ran through the differences in features and performance with the two cars I was considering (never really considered the Sport but I wanted to compare the two.) The test drive was great. Jeff let my wife and I go out on our own and he insisted we take as long as we want. "Don't come back in 5 minutes." We took full advantage of this with both cars and it allowed us to really compare the performance. After deciding on the Red Sport 400, it was time to talk numbers. Jeff never made me feel pressured. I was expecting several back and forth negotiations, but really, he just said, "what's the price you're looking for." We told him if you hit this price we'll take it today. He showed it to his sales manager and that was it. No fuss, no making it seem like I was taking food off his table. Financing was also a breeze. Jacob, the finance manager never pressured me into any extended warranties or extras. I did purchase tire and wheel protection, which came with a bunch of extras, because of the cost of the run flats and the 19" wheels. I've had this protection before on my other vehicles and they've paid for themselves. He knocked down the price on it so, why not? But the no pressure selling extended warranties was appreciated. Jacob even said, Infiniti has a great warranty so maybe take a look at this as the factory warranty runs out. After the ink dried on the deal, we walked out the the service bay where Andreas gave me a run down of the car's features. I'm not quite sure what his full role in the business is, but he seemed knowledgable of both the cars features and potential customization opportunities. He gave me a great price on tinting the windows, plus, gave me some info on mods that will up the performance and looks while keeping the warranty. I've only had the car a few days, but if my wife's experience of a decade with this dealership is what I can expect, I'll have no regrets on this purchase.
