We were in the market for a mid-size SUV like Consumer Reports favorite Kia Sorento. We were referred to Global through the Costco Auto Program (highly recommended). I came in and hooked up with Mike Wyatt and had a nice talk about models and options. Fortunately, the Costco program eliminates the negotiating part of car buying, so I could focus on getting the exact right vehicle. Mike V, Kia sales manager was very helpful in walking me through the financial details of the first vehicle I planned to get. Several things impressed me with Global. First, Mike W. was just the right balance of laid back regular person and salesman. Second, I was considering buying the vehicle without my girl having sat in or driven it--a $500 rebate offer was about to expire. Their General Sales Manager, Mike, told me he'd prefer not to make that sale until she could come in and check out the vehicle and he would make good on the rebate amount. Third, their business manager, Brad, zipped me right though the closing process with no pressure to buy the "extras" most dealers push hard to sell. Because of some of the features we each wanted, we ended up buying a much higher trim level than we started discussing. It was considerably more money but still a very fair deal. I've bought a lot of cars over the years and this was one of the better experiences I've had. Two final thoughts: 1) Their "Doc" fee of $400 is on the high end of dealers in this area; many are $300; 2) All of their vehicles are "packed" with their Global Advantage Package for about $2600. There's no real value in that package (except to Global); I told them I didn't want it and they removed it. Also, they put a $300 window etching package on every vehicle; you might be able to negotiate on that. You might save some on your insurance by having it but you'd have to see if it's worth it.

I have owned this car for two months and I am pleasantly surprised. I am a pre-retirement age and I needed to move to a bigger, more comfortable car for both commuting and long-distance (750+ miles) driving. A Hyundai car was a no-brainer for me because of reliability and 5-yr 60K miles warranty. So far we owned two Elantras, a Sonata, and a Tucson. Other than normal 5K mile maintenance, I don't think ALL of them together were repaired more than 5-6 times during a 10-yr time period. I chose a standard SE AWD model. For me it is sufficiently equipped and has impressive safety features. I need an AWD version since I drive in a hilly terrain and also in some snowy areas of the Midwest. Negatives first: I was disappointed when I found the car did not have a CD player. My car doesn't come with a satellite radio either. My 2008 Sonata GLS and the standard Elantra had both. However, I managed to solve both problems. Since I had Sirius XM subscription in my traded in Sonata Sirius sent me a free portable XM radio which connects through an AUX jack. I also bought an AIS car CD player for $199 which powers on and connects through one of the front USB ports. They connect to the car radio system and I can easily switch between radio, CD, and XM with one push of a button. I fit them easily into the front console box and secured them by weatherstripping foam so they look like they are a part of the dashboard. The second negative is the automatic engine Stop/Start system. It works as it pleases. Sometimes it shuts the engine immediately upon stop for a second or two but another time keeps it idling for 1-2 minutes at a long red light. The positives are interior space and very comfortable front seats and lots passenger space in the rear. Four USB ports and integrated radio, CD, XM, Android, and phone Bluetooth systems are fun to use. Under the floor rear storage spaces are very handy and I use them often. Rear seats can be reclined which is great. Rear folded seats provide 76 inch of loading space which is nothing to complain about. The 185 HP 2.4L engine provides adequate power although acceleration is rather sluggish. I was pleasantly surprised with gas mileage. 90% of my driving are short 5-10 mile commuting distances. My average mileage so far is 26-27 MPG. Occasional highway driving yields about 31-33 MPG. This is a heavier car yet it's more fuel efficient than Sonata. Large fuel tank allows for up 500+ mile range. My first long-distance test will happen later this month when I plan to drive a 2500 mile stretch across the South and Midwest.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I've always (until recently) been an "American car guy." However, I love our new Santa Fe Ultimate. The 2019 exterior re-design is much more "macho" than the previous design, interior is much nicer also. Priced $$$ less than competitive models, and Hyundai doesn't kill you with $ thousands in add ons... just buy the trim you like and nearly everything is already included, all we had to add on were mud flaps and cargo tray, so no "hidden costs." Warranty is phenomenal. Comfort is phenomenal, love the driver memory features for the seat/mirrors. Doesn't handle like my last car (2010 Shelby) but the 2.0T is peppy. As review noted a bit of turbo lag but doesn't bother me... you'd never know it was a 2 liter! Ride quality if excellent and cabin is very stylish (at least on the Ultimate). Love the 2-tone leather seating/interior (ours is a taupe brown and gray). The safety features are phenomenal, as are the LED lights, smart cruise control, 360 camera, 12 speaker system, iridescent interior/dash lights, air conditioned seats, industry-leading tech (Apple and Android car play), heads up display, etc etc. Can't say for the lower level models (noting they also come with all the safety features/lane change warning/pedestrian sensor, etc), but we love the Ultimate. Gas mileage not great with the turbo, but we do mostly city driving so 22-23 is not bad for a mid-size SUV. We're in Hawaii so no need for AWD, so we got the FWD version. Bottom line with the Ultimate you'd never know you're driving a Hyundai vice a Lexus, they've really kicked up their game and for thousands less than Honda, Toyota, Ford, etc... and best warranty in the industry. Also a Top Safety Pick +.

I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Upgraded from a 2015 CRV and after test-driving a 2019 CRV. Better cargo space, more comfortable design for the driver, larger passenger seats. Only slight disappointments are the under-powered engine and the inconsistent cruise control (even without the car length setting engaged). It's only been 1 month of ownership, but it's been fun!

Price: Very fair. Although there was no real negotiation, I was happy given that the initial price was more than fair for what I was buying. The final cost before fees was $12,995 and after fees was $14,650. Service: I had my mechanic inspect my 2012 Ford Mustang V6 convertible, and he found it to be a high quality car. Nicky was kind enough to let us test drive it a second time at closing time, and allowed me a few days to secure financing with my credit union with only a verbal agreement and a deposit to purchase. Grade A service. Dealership setup: I recommend researching your potential car(s) and setting an appointment before visiting, because I test drove with a different salesman before closing the deal with Nicky. I even walked off the lot before coming back five minutes later to place a deposit. It may be a confusing setup to a casual walk-up impulse buyer. Overall experience: Although I am generally skeptical of non-affiliated used car dealerships, Auto Avenues did a fine job and my mechanic approved of my purchase. Hopefully the car lasts long with no major issues, but I’d be happy to return again if the car lasts.

I don't even know where to start!! When I first arrived I was met by Sal, the used car salesmen. This guy was made to sell cars!! He's super knowledgable about cars, their parts and technology. I informed Sal that I was there to see Apple (Internet Sales) whom I had spoke with several times before that. Apple is even more delightful when you meet!! Amazing customer service and such a beautiful attitude. Thank You Apple!! She introduced me to Chris and everything went all the way up from there!!! You have no idea the day we had, I spend about 8 hours with Chris to make this deal happen. Chris was upfront and honest about things. He was helpful, patient, and understanding during the whole process. We looked at numbers between the genesis and sonata. I chose to go with the Sonata, with a $0 down lease agreement. Before we dealt with running credit, Chris assured me that he would get me some ball park figures on monthly payments. He kept his word and many salesmen don't do that. My experience was more service oriented than car buying. I really appreciated that. Who could ask for more? It gets better though. There were no more new Sonata cars on the lot at the moment. Chris offered to take me in his personal vehicle to their lot full of new 2016-2017 cars about a 20 minute drive from the dealership. As soon as we reached the parking lot, the rain came down like no other. It stormed for the entire time we was in the parking lot. BTW, the parking lot was an outside parking lot with no shelter. Chris asked me which car did I like and we saw several cars before returning back to his car. I told Chris which car I wanted, with the options it offered and he went to get. Chris went beyond the customer service experience with me and stepped out of his car in pouring rain to get me the specific vehicle that I wanted with the same color and better options. He was actually able to get me a better sonata sport model with partial leather interior, sun roof, and other options for an extra $12 per month. Chris was amazing. Chris, I don't know how to thank you enough brother, I really appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. After returning to the dealership with the car, Chris was able to pair up with Paulino (Manager) to make the deal happen. There were a few bumps in the road but, Chris and Paulino were persistent about getting me to drive home and not taking the train. Chris was an advocate for me and wanted to nothing but the best for me in this deal. I would recommend anyone to stop by and see whats available for you. They will work for you here!!! Great power with the turbo (a bit of turbo lag but for a 4 cyclinder you get V6 pep). The two-tone interior is beautiful (noting we opted for the Ultimate model, FWD only... in Hawaii so no need for AWD). The tech is incredible (heads up display, Android/Apple car play, 12 speaker sound system, nav system, AC vented seats, numerous USB ports, and particularly the elecontronic warning systems (standard by the way on all models) and 360 view camera (option). Ride is also smooth and handles well. Overall the car just feels very solid... and sounds solid when you close the doors. With the 100K warranty and at about $6K below most of the competition -- and $20K or more less than the luxury SUVs (many with less tech/features) this purchase was a no brainer. Also love the redesigned front end. This is our 2nd Hyundai, first was very reliable for 7 years but we traded in to upgrade to the Sante Fe. Very happy with our purchase.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I was referred to Texas Direct Auto/Vroom by a good friend and I???m glad I decided to go with them for my car purchase! I initially got Billie as my car sales personnel, but she seemed to be very pushy and just aiming to make quick sale; which is something that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with her for a while I advised I would give her a call back to speak with my financial advisor on proceeding further on this process with Vroom. When I called back I got a different agent that saw in the system that saw I was talking to Billie and advised me that she would give me a call back in 5 mins, well 30 mins passed and I called back upset because I did not hear back from her after she ran my credit and didn???t like the fact I wasn???t trying to put 2500 down. My credit score was excellent I had a 740, but I didn???t have enough credit history she said is the reason why she kept asking me to put so much money down on 23k 24k car. The last time I called upset after not hearing anything from her a gentleman by the name of Shannon Humbles answered and I advised him that I did not want to work with Billie anymore because she made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt like she didn???t personally care about helping me through the process of the purchase. Shannon is an ALLSTAR!! He went over and beyond the call of duty to help me make this purchase!!! 7 days later my vehicle sits in my parking garage and I love it! The process was so easy to purchase, I had to put 1500 which is the standard, instead of 2800 that???s Billie was demanding that I put down! Please go with Vroom! I saw a couple bad reviews and I know every process has its flaws, but I???m here to tell you, they work! They are a very good company and I look forward to making another purchase with them for my girlfriend???s Christmas gift! Thanks Shannon and Vroom!!!!

I will say that I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews; but due to the volume that this dealer ships out, I can only assume that poor experiences are a small percentage of their business practice. I visited Vroom???s website in the evening and decided to purchase my wife a Cadillac SRX. Within minutes I received a call from a sales rep. Within an hour of that initial call, he collected my $500 ???hold fee??? that was later applied to my down payment. The following day, my sales rep called to inform me that financing was secured, even with blemished credit. (Required an additional $600 down payment which I had wire transferred). 3 days later, I received my contract via FedEx, completed it, and shipped it back. Once they received and reviewed, I was sent an email with an expected delivery date. From start to finish, the entire process took 10 days, and we received a used Cadillac SRX in EXCELLENT condition. The interior was spotless. The exterior needed a wash, but it was understandable because the car was shipped from Texas to Florida. I have already recommended this service to others, and will likely use them again. *Car does come with a 60 day temp tag, and I have not heard back from Vroom about acquiring my actual registration and plate. - However, I believe that I still have a couple of weeks left on the current tag.

Vroom personnel were thoroughly professional and I received great value in my trade and new car. I took my car to the local dealer for a through inspection upon free delivery. (Vroom offers a 7 day free return policy.) The BMW service manager told me my 2015 X3 Xdrive28i was in such good shape, it would qualify as a certified per-owned on their lot. I easily could have paid $3K more for the car than I did from Vroom.

I had never owned a Hyundai/Kia car prior to my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe’s purchase. Nobody I knew had owned a Korean car to ask for opinions. After months of reading, viewing videos and test drives, I have come to the decision to purchase the first Hyundai vehicle. In this day and age, not taking enough time to do research is a missed opportunity for car buyers. As I had taken my time, I got better ideas what I would like to have in my next car and cross-shopped for the car I wanted. I kept an eye on the prices for a while, negotiated for price matches, and then pulled the trigger when best offers are available. Also through my research, my branding sentiments for Hyundai and Kia was also changed. Potential buyers should be able to find lots of information about good value and quality in Korean cars in the last 5-10 years. Don’t just read experts’ reviews, I have valued lots of average users’ reviews. I am aware of the current recalls (engine fire), which I am not too concerned about in the newest 2019 models. In general, there are a lot more positive reviews from Hyundai/Kia car owners than I had expected. For the new 2019 Santa Fe, I love the new exterior design and the interior’s modern layout. It feels spacious on the inside, specially second row seats. The all functions are so easy to use and they just work. Fit-and-finish is excellent. Good choice of materials using on the inside show good overall quality for the vehicle. All premium features (Ultimate trim) you can only find in the high-end cars, on top of the standard safety features. Best warranty in the industry. IIHS & NHTSA crash tests are highly rated. 3-yr BlueLink Remote Service is a plus. I find this car more suitable for family people like me on daily commute, occasional road/camping trips. It depends on your priorities, but I like the practicality and active safety features in this car. I am also very impressed on how comfortable and quiet this Santa Fe handles on the roads. My Ultimate trim is equipped with all LED lamps. These help illuminate the roads better at night and also look more upscale. For engine performance, I wished they would have added a few more horses for the naturally aspirated engine option or V6 for some more towing capacity. For what it is, I still think it’s adequate for most of my normal driving. I guess Hyundai has chosen practicality, utility and comfortability over performance. Like other high tech industries, auto industry is changing fast too. The race to earn more market share is more competitive than ever, especially in the SUV segments (wait until Chinese cars can join this party). I’ve known Hyundai quality have improved greatly in the last 20 years. But when it comes to purchasing one, people tend to go back to their trusted older brands. It’s a safe choice for a big purchase, I understand that. Nevertheless, I think Hyundai and Kia are doing the right things. They obviously try harder to win you over. Bottom line is, I initially chose the 2019 Santa Fe over other popular choices (Highlander, Pilot, Murano, Outback etc.) because of the best value for what I can get. Judging from the experience so far, I am quite happy with the decision. My perception is now changed positively about the brand. Hopefully, my long-term ownership of the car is also positive. Just a personal experience on how I changed and became a new Hyundai car owner.
