My wife, Susan, and I finalized the lease of our 2016 Honda Pilot on April 8, 2016. We turned in our 2013 lease 6 months early. When Susan went to the dealership in late March of this year, she had only planned on "checking out" the 2016 models. When she met with our Sales and Leasing Consultant, Alan Katz, Alan told her that she could turn in the 2013 lease in favor of the 2016 lease. He said that Hoffman would take the 2013 lease 'as is" and that they would make the remaining payments on that lease for us. Susan was very impressed with the 2016 model and Alan did a nice job of explaining everything to my wife. I didn't even get involved until the day we decided to trade leases and I put a down payment (deposit) down on the vehicle. We "closed' on the vehicle about a week later. Time was needed to install a trailer hitch which we needed. Throughout the process, Alan Katz was very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. I even knew before April 8th exactly how much it would cost to purchase a new trailer arm or ball should what I had from the 2013 lease not worked. Alan took us to the car and explained all of the important features to us in great detail. We noticed that one of the tires was under inflated and Alan took us right to the Honda Service area in order to top of the air in the under inflated tire. Throughout the entire leasing process, I was impressed by Alan's focus on detail and thoughtfulness. It was a pleasure to do business with him.. When it came to close on the 2016 lease, Alan put us in touch with the Business Manager, David Ezedine. David was also very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. All bases were covered in great detail. I ended up knowing exactly what I was getting when it came to the in and out Simonize treatment we had previously bought as well as coverage for a series of optional services we also accepted that day relative to paintless "dings" and "scratches" repair, replacement of lost key bobs, tire and wheel damage due to road hazard, 24 hour Roadside Assistance and windshield "chip" repair. I was initially reluctant to pay the extra money, but, David did a very good job of convincing me of the value of the optional plan even if only in terms of the peace of mind we gained from accepting it. I/we also thoroughly enjoyed doing business with David. Finally,, as part of the process, we even had an exit interview of sorts by one of the managers whose name escapes me. Apparently, Honda wanted to make absolutely certain that we were entirely pleased with the leasing process and that the final outcome of that process was in line with our expectations. My wife and I both thought that this was a nice "added touch". All in all we had a great experience with Hoffman Honda and we look forward to at least three years with our 2016 Honda Pilot..

I'm sure that If you asked a multitude of people to name some of there favorite things to do, going car shopping wouldn't even be a distant thought. Like so many other people, I dread the thought of having to go car shopping for a multitude of reasons least of all the high pressure sales tactics. All my preconceived ideas of the typical car salesman was blown out of the water from the moment I walked in to Balise Hyundai of Fairfield, our sales person Brahm was extremely cordial even though we only arrived at the dealership at 7:55pm, and they close at 8pm. He took the time to answer all of our questions without making us feel rushed or making it feel as though we were being an inconvienience. He then took my daughter for a test drive even though it was well after 8:30pm at this point. Needless to say we ended up putting down a deposit on the car (2014 VW Jatta), and came back the following day to finalize the purchase. At no point did I feel as though Brahm was treating us like just another customer, instead he treated us as though we were guests in his home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brahm to any of my family or friends.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I received a loan package via FedEx 2 days later, signed all the paperwork, and sent it back in the pre-paid FedEx envelope they provided. About 3 days later, I started getting emails to schedule delivery. The process only took 9 business days from the moment I made the deposit to the moment I got my vehicle. I've owned this car for two years and no issues. Cabin is quiet and roomy. The ultimate has tons of buttons for those that like to push things. Heated/ventilated front seats on bottom cushion and back cushion. Heated rear seats. Pull up window visors in rear windows to keep sun out. Full length sun roof with retractable electric cover. Adaptive cruise control is wonderful on long trips. Heating steering wheel. To many options to list that you would only find on a 60,000 dollar BMW or Lexus. Only change I would recommend is OEM touring tire instead of performance tires. This car is more luxury than performance in my opinion and the touring tires I replaced with OEM tires provide a much smoother ride and better traction. This car in turbo should have AWD. I have a front wheel drive and I can easily spin the tires so plenty of power to spare.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. This is the best SUV my family has owned and have used when going on Road Trips. This SUV has a lot of room in the back seats while still having all the room for your luggage. The luggage is accessible from the back seats. The entertained system is great as well. The SUV also has great suspension and power ready to use.

Overall great SUV for the price. Love the extra leg room, and the reclining rear seats. Lots of storage in the cargo space. Love that the backs of the front seats are hard plastic so that if the kids put their feet on the seats, you can easily wipe them down. Very kid friendly doors. Love the feature that stops the windows from closing when something is in their way (my kids arms 🤦🏽‍♀️)

We weren't planning on buying anything yet and were just looking. Everyone was friendly and helpful without being pushy and/or just looking to make a sale. Bill K. worked with us, asked questions, really listened to what we had to say and respected our opinions - meaning he didn't try to change our mind about what we liked or wanted in a car. He also understood that I was still hesitant to give up my 15-yr-old 2002 Outback. It was in good shape but due to age would eventually start needing expensive repairs, which is why we were starting to look around. He was very knowledgeable and found us a car similar to what I had. On one question we had he got someone else more knowledgeable about it to speak with us. We did a test drive - sweet ride. We asked for time to talk and think some more. He left us alone. When we came back in to talk, he made us an offer we couldn't refuse. Finance also found us a warranty we couldn't refuse. Bill has checked in with us a few times to see if we had any questions and how we liked the car. We couldn't figure out how to set the clock - the manual wasn't helpful on that - and we brought it in. Bill was with another client but had Guy come out to the car and set it up for me. Guy was a sweetheart and patiently went through everything on the dash with me and set things up the way I wanted them. LOVE the car!! I've had it two weeks and already took it to Maine and back. Very sweet ride - like floating. Bill is a great guy and we highly recommend him and the dealership. It was a refreshing change from past dealership experiences where they only cared about selling a car no matter what or how, and getting as much money as they could out of us. Thank you Bertera Subaru of Hartford! :)

I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. Engine died at 49,000 miles

I bought my 2016 used when it was two years old and had 35,000 miles on it. At 49,000 miles the engine died and needed to be replaced. I was lucky that I did not go over the 50,000 mile mark, because then I would not have qualified for a free replacement since I was the second owner. The new engine is doing well, but this is still a cautionary tale. Also, I had t get one headlamp replaced about five times before it worked properly, and that was expensive.

I was referred to Texas Direct Auto/Vroom by a good friend and I???m glad I decided to go with them for my car purchase! I initially got Billie as my car sales personnel, but she seemed to be very pushy and just aiming to make quick sale; which is something that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with her for a while I advised I would give her a call back to speak with my financial advisor on proceeding further on this process with Vroom. When I called back I got a different agent that saw in the system that saw I was talking to Billie and advised me that she would give me a call back in 5 mins, well 30 mins passed and I called back upset because I did not hear back from her after she ran my credit and didn???t like the fact I wasn???t trying to put 2500 down. My credit score was excellent I had a 740, but I didn???t have enough credit history she said is the reason why she kept asking me to put so much money down on 23k 24k car. The last time I called upset after not hearing anything from her a gentleman by the name of Shannon Humbles answered and I advised him that I did not want to work with Billie anymore because she made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt like she didn???t personally care about helping me through the process of the purchase. Shannon is an ALLSTAR!! He went over and beyond the call of duty to help me make this purchase!!! 7 days later my vehicle sits in my parking garage and I love it! The process was so easy to purchase, I had to put 1500 which is the standard, instead of 2800 that???s Billie was demanding that I put down! Please go with Vroom! I saw a couple bad reviews and I know every process has its flaws, but I???m here to tell you, they work! They are a very good company and I look forward to making another purchase with them for my girlfriend???s Christmas gift! Thanks Shannon and Vroom!!!!

Turbo needs oil every 1,000 miles

I currently have 130,000 miles on 2.0 turbo Ultimate. I use the best oil and filters and change them every 4-5,000 miles. Oil consumption has steadily increased; now 1 qt per 1,000 miles driving. 80% of driving highway. Not hard on engine. Disappointing.

My experience of selecting a new used car.

I came to Country Hyundai to find a used, affordable, quality automobile under warranty. I met Scott Peters who presented and showed me three used cars you were selling for around $9,000-10,400. He showed me three cars which included the two I test drove; a Toyota corolla and an Hyundai sonata for about $10,000-$10,500 and mileage under 80,000 and year after 2010. I test drove both cars. Scott Peters then asked me which of the two I'd like to take for my repair place to look at in Chicope, MA. I drove the sonata since I liked the way it drove and the lumbar seats and other aspects mentioned. When I returned, I was favoring the sonata, and Scott Peters said the 2011 about 40-50,000 miles $10,500 Toyota was sold. I preferred the sonata. Scott Peters competently handled the sale of the used sonata to me. We arranged the time to complete the financial meeting with Chris. I cleared the finances with my sibling and Scott Peters. We waited for the necessary time to wire the funds to the local bank to be cleared and ready. Chris Patrick managed the formalities and provided the information about the warranty and paperwork. All three of these people adjusted to my having my auto repair review, my financial payment requirements and even retrieving my title from home. Amber Brainerd was both knowledgeable and very thorough and accessible when she spent adequate time with me in my new used sonata reviewing and acquainting myself with the workings of the panel and basics. She followed up thoroughly with me and provided excellent customer service including personally helping me transfer my remaining belongings from my old trade-in car to the new used one. Overall, I think they were attentive to my purchase of the vehicle and demonstrated both a professional and sincere interest to help me find a used, dependable car I am satisfied with, and I thank you.

this car meets all of our needs. Hyundai are reliable and maintenance free. This is the second Hyundai we have owned. The first had 76000 miles on it and there was nothing wrong - no mechanical or body issues.

This past Christmas season, my Mother-in-law, my wife and I were heading out to Ohio from the Boston area to be with my wife's family. I had a 2013 Dodge Dart with roughly 55,000 miles on it, and it appeared to be in great shape, so we decided to take my Dart out to Cleveland for the 12 hour trip. Long story short, we didn't even make it out of Massachusetts, as we broke down on Route 90 at a rest area, the transmission DIED. We were over two hours from home at this point... I called AAA and they towed us to the nearest Chrysler Dealership, Metro. I walked into the service department visibly agitated at the situation, with my less-than-amused wife (who never wanted me to buy the Dart in the first place...) and my Mother-in-law in tow. Orlando greeted us, and offered the waiting room up to my wife and MIL while he and I figured out what we were going to do. Orlando understood my situation, and how my wife was clearly agitated with me -- and he made sure to do everything in his power to keep me out of getting in more trouble!! I got a rental from Enterprise while leaving the car with Orlando and drove out to Cleveland. Orlando called me the next day stating that Chrysler wasn't going to cover rental costs for me, and that the parts for my car were back ordered for at least a month. He instructed me to call Chrysler myself and gave me some ammunition to fight them with. Unfortunately, they wouldn't budge when I called. But, without me even asking him to do so, Orlando saw that the situation was B.S., and fought them for me. He had Chrysler conference in Enterprise and he talked Chysler into covering my initial out of pocket rental costs, and another 10 days of rental. He fought for more than 10 days, but Chrysler wouldn't budge... Knowing I was going to need a better solution than just 10 days, I called and said to Orlando: "You can see my Dart is in perfect shape other than the transmission that's under a recall. What can we do so I never have to see that Dart again?" Enter Marlon. Orlando got me in touch with Marlon, one of the sales guys. I told him my situation, my financials, and all the details. Because I was upside-down on my loan on the Dart, we had very limited options as to getting me into a new vehicle. Even though this is a Chrysler dealership, I think Marlon could tell I didn't want another Chrysler product. He showed me a 2015 Nissan Altima they had on the lot, and it was a perfect fit. He was able to work with the bank to make sure my payments didn't go up at all, and that I was able to get a very nice rate on the loan. Considering that I broke down in an area that I wasn't familiar with, I was at the discretion of the AAA driver as to where the car was going to be taken. I could not be happier that I ended up at Metro. Marlon and Orlando were outstanding.

Recently i began to shop for a new car. I went to a local Hyundai Dealership and tried to buy a 2017 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. I worked with this dearlership for two full days and there was problem after problem and on 2-27-18 i took a test ride in a base model Veloster which was an automatic and this car was brand new and it could not get out of its own way, it lacked performance in a huge way. I told this dealer ship that i was interested in the turbo version of the veloster and was told that I certainly couldnt afford that model. They had all these buyer incentives going on and i was told that my payment would be huge and i wasnt able to get any of the specials during Presidents week and I would have to SETTLE for the base model Veloster. After 8 hrs of trying to make a good deal, I left this dealership and went home to try and research over the internet our dealers in my local area of Springfield Ma.I came across COUNTRY HYUNDAI located in Northampton Ma and I found the car of my dreams at a very resonable price. I decided to go to COUNTRY HYUNDAI the next day Feb 28, 2018 and see what they could offer me. I was met by FRANK, one of the MGRS in the parking lot and he asked what i was looking for in a car? I told him , I was working with another dealers ship and after speaking with this very friendly manager, he introduced me to a saleman by the name of TIM KENT. we immediately hit it off and i explained the problems I was having at another dearship and he asked if i wanted to take out the turbo version of the Veloster for a test ride. I showed the car to Tim that I was interested in, and within 10 min I was on my way taking a 2017 Turbo Veloster for a test ride, to boot by myself. Tim Kent said take this car for as long as you like and come back and we will discuss figures. Loved this car, Had all the options I wanted and as I said it was a turbo.. After about an 1/2 hour test ride I returned to COUNTRY HYUNDAI and sat down with Tim and we started to go over the numbers. Tim Kent by far was one of the nicest salesmen I have EVER dealt with and at no time was I made to feel insecure or berated as with what happened with the OTHER dealer ship. TIM was the epitome of what a professional salesman should be like. In fact, EVERYONE I dealt with at COUNTRY HYUNDAI were all the same: Pleasant to talk with , accommodating in every respect, courteous, and just about the nicest group of professionals I have met in the automotive business. This also included Chris Patrick, the finance manager, awesome as well The service dept, again incredible beyond, and last but certainly not least, Melanie who went over item by item of what the car had for for options and explained each one as to how they operate. Let me say this; This was not my first rodeo, but with that being said, I have never once received such unbelievable and incredible treatment as i did on this date 02-28-18, by everyone at COUNTRY HYUNDAI. They are the finest, dealer ship in all of Massachusetts... They are the Gold Standard, hands down, I have bought many cars in my day, but never and I mean never, have I been treated this well at a dealership. TIM KENT by far was the best salesman I have ever encountered while trying to buy a car. My next car, whatever it might be, will unequivocally be purchased at this dealer ship or any of the sister dealer ships in the area. One last thing, the original dealer ship that i was trying to make a deal at stated that the BASE model Veloster was the only thing I could afford, and at Country HYUNDAI, I drove away with the top of the line turbo and my payment was less that the base model payment that the other dealer ship was offering. I could not be happier, whatsoever with COUNTRY HYUNDAI in every respect. Tim Kent went over and beyond the line of duty and I am thrilled to have met the entire team at this dealer ship. They Rock... 5 STARS all the way!!!

I will say that I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews; but due to the volume that this dealer ships out, I can only assume that poor experiences are a small percentage of their business practice. I visited Vroom???s website in the evening and decided to purchase my wife a Cadillac SRX. Within minutes I received a call from a sales rep. Within an hour of that initial call, he collected my $500 ???hold fee??? that was later applied to my down payment. The following day, my sales rep called to inform me that financing was secured, even with blemished credit. (Required an additional $600 down payment which I had wire transferred). 3 days later, I received my contract via FedEx, completed it, and shipped it back. Once they received and reviewed, I was sent an email with an expected delivery date. From start to finish, the entire process took 10 days, and we received a used Cadillac SRX in EXCELLENT condition. The interior was spotless. The exterior needed a wash, but it was understandable because the car was shipped from Texas to Florida. I have already recommended this service to others, and will likely use them again. *Car does come with a 60 day temp tag, and I have not heard back from Vroom about acquiring my actual registration and plate. - However, I believe that I still have a couple of weeks left on the current tag.

Drives like a dream and handles so perfect cause it's width is just right. Great fuel milage for a full size suv. You get so much car for so little price and the quality is right up there with the fourty fifty grand suv's
