Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

this is the first time in all the years I have my vehicle that when I got my oil change I did not have to add oil. Everytime before this I had to add oil a day or two later. Who ever did the oil change was great. Thanks

Bought a brand new 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL Convenience in Sept 2021, owned it for 4 years now. With 45,000 miles, Ive had no major problems other than normal wear and tear, like brake pads, oil and tires. Very reliable, comfortable and affordable. If I were going to nitpick, I would prefer non leather steering wheel and gear shift. I keep them covered so they dont get worn out. Love this SUV!

When I arrived I was greeted by Russell McPaul who answered all of my questions, brought up a vehicle to take for a test drive and worked with me throughout the purchasing process. I also spoke with Dan Castillo who I worked with to make the deal. There was no pressure to have to take the car that day like some dealerships force you to do so when I came to pick up the car I met with Jayme Cabott in Finance to get all of the paperwork signed and he explained each form and what it meant before asking me to sign them. Comes with All wheel drive, dual climate control, dual power seats with power lumbar , dual heated seats, heated steering wheel, Sirius radio, power rear lift gate, driving lane monitor, lane change warning system, sport driving mode, infinity 8 speaker sound system, slightly larger engine than the entry level Tucson, brilliant tri-color paint, roof cross bars and sharp looking chrome door handles. Comfortable, not too big, not too small. Acceleration is a little sluggish and gas mileage about 23.Found this slightly used gem with 25,000 miles for a great price

I recently purchased a car the other day from Hampstead Pre-owned and have to say how easy the process was. My salesperson (Nemo)made it a no pressure experience. I told him what I was interested in, and he prepped the car for a test drive. When done I was asked if this was good or is there was something else I wanted to look out. He never tried to talk the car up or sway me in any way. When I decided to buy he finished up on his part and was passed off to finance, general manager and owner. Everyone involved (and employees not involved) were very accommodating and friendly. I'd buy again from them.

I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

Now, I know what you might be curious, why such a glowing review...well here is my background. This is the third car I have purchased in the span of 3 years (it's okay to Judge, I know I am a mess). I bought my 2019 Hyundai Tucson in 2021 from the Dealership as the second owner. It has not given me any issues. I get it serviced when required. It has never had any issues. I feel the interiors are comfortable. I love the butt warmers. I love the vibrant blue exterior. SUV has so much space. When I put my foot down it it definitely not my old 300CC Hemi Chrysler V6 engine but it eventually goes. It feels sporty and stylish. 26mpg on the freeway.

The Hyundai Tucson Limited is far beyond other vehicles in the same class. This car has features of luxury cars in an affordable vehicle, and it looks sharp too. If it had a turbo charged engine it would e out of this world. As it is, the car does lack power, but unless you drive it like a sports car this isn’t a problem. Front heated and ventilated seats, Rear heated seats, park assist, blind spot cameras. If you need it this car has it.

I have a 2024 Tuscan XRT .I bought slightly used and now has 17k miles . It has been a fantastic car. Initially wanted the SEL convenience hybrid for the gas mileage but couldn’t justify spending an extra $4-6k to save a few hundred dollars on gas a year. My non- hybrid has gotten amazing gas mileage. Averaging 28-29 mpg mostly stop and go, some highway. Way better than the estimates of 23-28mpg. The EPA estimates are way off ! The Tuscan drives so smooth and so quiet. The 8 speed transmission is amazing! It shifts quickly and so smoothly . The cabin is extremely quiet. I think there is more insulation/ sound proofing than the hybrid versions that try to cut down on weight. You don’t hear any road noise in theTuscan !The suspension is smooth and adsorbs every bump . The most surprising positive is the handling. There is absolutely no body roll and handles like it is on rails! I have owned a lot of vehicles and this handles better than anything in this price range. Handles better than any Subaru, better than the BMWs I have had. Feels like I am driving an Audi A4 which is pretty impressive. The seats are extremely comfortable, the stock radio sounds great, lots of legroom and the passenger and cargo room is amazing. Back seats hold full size adults and the seats recline! The cons. Not very many. The 0-60 could be better. However, it shifts so quick and smoothly you don’t notice any issues with speed/ power. A few reviews say 0-60 in like 9 +seconds . I don’t think this is accurate. My guess is high 7s -low 8 seconds but haven’t tested it. It doesn’t have sports car speed but it sure handles like one. For long drives and a daily driver, I would take the comfort / quietness and handling of Tuscan over a muscle car.

So far so good..recently bought a,2022 limited awd..I like the drive and tho the tech took awhile to figure it out it worlks..granted economy could be better and cup holders a bit larger but overall a good value after driven it 5k.

I Found the exact 2025 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy in white with black interior that I wanted online at this Jack Giambalvo Hyundai dealership. They are a good 4 1/2 hour drive away from where we live. There were none of these specific Palisades available in our area so we called first thing on a Saturday April 26, 2025 morning & got extremely lucky!! A very pleasant & knowledgeable salesman, COLTON ALLISON, answered their phone. We had to be absolutely positive that what I wanted & saw online was the EXACT car they had for sale on their lot. Thankfully, Colton immediately got back to us & texted me the vin & pictures for verification that it was indeed the EXACT CAR I WANTED. Within 20 minutes Colton had emailed me applications needed to be filled out & to run a credit check as we got on the road to make the long 4 1/2 hour drive to York, PA. I explained we did not want to make a wasted trip so we needed him & his boss & their dealership people to “please” be sure all of our paperwork was ready before we arrived. We wanted to sign everything, give them a check, use their Hyundai Finance Company and within 1 hour turn back around & DRIVE MY BRAND NEW PALISADE the 4 1/2 hours back Home. Colton was extremely efficient & stuck with it. He kept up with putting all of my information into his computer to make the purchase happen. He even did a 3-Way call with myself & my insurance agent as we were about 1/2 way there, to be sure our agent got the correct VIN # & car info to be added immediately to our current car insurance policy. We needed that done to be able to drive the car back home. We arrived promptly at 2:33pm & signed ALL of the papers necessary to buy the car. Anyone buying a new car knows that’s quite a stack of paperwork but Colton & their team had everything ready. We finished within an hour 15 minutes & by 3:45pm on that same Saturday DROVE MY Brand NEW 2025 white PALISADE CALLIGRAPHY HOME. Just purchased as a daily driver for work. Had it two months with 104,000 miles. Looks and drives great. Base model but I’m pleased with its features. I agree not a lot of power but purchase it as a work vehicle to garage my nicer vehicle.

Have been very happy with car in both performance and reliability. Only negative is the rear wiper. It does not clear the rear window enough.

Have purchased all of our used cars from CarMax. Only criticism I would have is you need to really inspect the car well if it has been in a reported accident. We try to stay away from those - to many hidden damage possibilities. CarMax sales person, Mike is awesome and has enabled me to put my two daughters in safe and nice first time vehicles.

Only issue i have is my turbo blew at 60k miles good thing its under warranty. Other than that this car is nice to drive.

I had been looking for a pre-owned car online for some time. Found a car at Frederick I was interested in getting more information about a possible purchase. Cody was very helpful when I arrived at the dealership. Cody was very helpful getting the information that I needed to make the decision. I really appreciated the straightforward process. I was able to purchase and drive the vehicle home the same evening.

As a second car, or for someone's first car purchase, or a gas saver, or a beater, this car is perfect. We had 4 cylinder sedans and suvs that were our main family vehicles before. But grew out of them and into larger 3 row suvs that consume a lot of gas. This feels like it's in between both. It's not quite a mid sized suv, yet it does not feel like a compact suv. Compared to previous models, the interior feels more spacious and has higher quality design and materials. Our trim has off white leather and it looks beautiful inside. It's rather comfortable, quiet, and fun to drive for the most part, except that passengers in the back seat sometimes complain about the ride quality. Amenities are great. The tech, safety features, comforts, it's all well thought out. Sometimes I don't like some of the beeps or lane assist features, but other times I can appreciate it. Overall seems reliable, though the little 4 cylinder sometimes seems to vibrate a little too hard, and the gears are normally tuned to be a little sluggish to save gas. It can be switched to sport mode (it has a cool animation on the screen when you switch driving modes), but then the engine just revs too high and the exhaust tends to drone a bit. Normal and "smart" mode don't seem to have that issue. For going shopping or driving back and fourth to work, it's a great car. I like the looks, and the stance, though it's a little low compared to other SUVs. We took it on a 3 hour road trip once and although it wasn't the worst, it wasn't the best, most comfortable experience either. Hence why it's our second family vehicle and not our main.

Very happy with our purchase. We have about 60,000km on the vehicle now (Yes Canadian). I am very pleased with the quality, performance, and reliability of the vehicle. We've had the Tuscon in the extreme Canadian Winters -40c, (-40F). Unplugged, and it has started without issue. I remember we were nervous when we bought the vehicle with the GDI 2.0L motor originally, but it has been fantastic since new. I would highly recommend the Tuscon to a young or older couple it is truly the perfect family vehicle. Great price and great reliabililty.
