I rented this car for a 3 day trip while my car was in the body shop. It was the only midsize sedan option available. I’ve had a lot of experience with Hyundai via a friend and his shop. The shop owner and his family love Hyundai for their reliability and they find them fun. I’ve driven most Hyundai’s and Kia’s as a result. This made me think this would be an ok car for trip. This Sonata is very much a base model. The 2.4L engine does an acceptable job getting the car up to speed for merging onto the highway. You don’t need to put your foot all the way in to get up to speed. That said; the power does feel lacking compared to other cars in the segment. The steering feel was surprisingly good. I keep the car in “Sport” mode the entire time for the steering feel alone. There is a nice amount of feedback when you push the car into a corner. The seats were adequate. My passenger and I never had a case of “numb bum” from the drive. The cabin is relatively quiet and comfortable. It’s no luxury vehicle by any stretch but it is well laid out and doesn’t leave you hunting for controls. The infotainment screen is lack lustre but does work. It’s a bit small compared to the basic offerings from Mazda or Honda. With the amount of real estate on the dash, fitting a larger screen shouldn’t have been a problem. The upper materials are soft touch while the lowers are hard plastic. Hyundai did a good job of hiding the hard plastics though. You likely wouldn’t even notice the difference in materials if someone didn’t point them out. The back seats have a good amount of leg room. If I had back passengers, I’m sure they wouldn’t complain. Overall, not a bad vehicle. This base model did a great job for the weekend and I would rent one again. I would even consider a better spec’d version for a daily car.

To put it simply, my Mother calls my Elantra, the "Spaceship". And she's one used to driving Chevy Impalas, with more bells and whistles than one could imagine! My Hyundai is automatic everything. I love the shift manual option. (I prefer manual transmissions) So this was quite a nice suprise when I found out what it was. LOL! Something I didn't know about, and wasn't shown when I test drove and purchased the car. I don't think the salesman knew about this transmission shifting inclusion. It's very Stylish, safe, dependable and a wonderful deal for my $. My only complaint is the seats stain very easily. Everything else is wonderful!

I have been dealing with Atlantic Hyundai since "2011" when I leased my first "2011" Sonata Limited which I loved. I now have a "2014" Santa Fa. Turbo I delt with Al Levinger in sales he did his best to get me what I wanted. Tim Turnbull is great I'm so glad to see him as a manager in the Service Department he helped me with my car when I was having problems and he was a tech. I know that he knows what's to do and he is very understanding as a manager. John Grosso has been my service adviser since day one and is a pleasure to deal with. My only issue is the price of the service menu for each 7,000, 15,000 & 30,000 miles it's crazy I'm not paying $600.00 for 30,000 mile check up when my husband checks my brakes changes my filters and fluids that's insane and it's not anyone that is listed here they don't set the prices it's the dealerships price nothing that they can do about it. That's my only complaint. Everyone is great to work with.

for the money It is a good car. However it has never come close to the mpg posted on the window. And mileage was a big reason i purchased the car. I have had no mechanical problems with the car. My wifes car got much better mpg and felt more solid and was quite inside. But we paid 50% more for that. Wife wins. I like my Hyundai

I did a lot of research into compact cars before test driving several models from Honda, Toyota and Ford. Then I tried the Elantra. Fully loaded....heated seats front and back, Bose sound system, leather throughout, sunroof. Incredible value for the money, far better value than the comparable Toyota and Honda. It's a fun little car to drive and comfortable on long hauls. I have a lot of arthritis and sitting in a car seat for hours gets excruciating. Decided to drive the Elantra from SW Washington where I live to California. Elantra got 44 mpg doing 75-80mph nearly the entire way, was comfortable for all 3 of us (myself, wife and 8 year old. Sound system is amazing and onboard Bluetooth works fine. Nav system and some other minor apps on the console could be a bit better but much better than Honda especially. Ergonomics of the cockpit are great and make sense. Overall just a fun easy car to drive. Sport mode is fun, but fuel consumption goes way up and the Elantra's suspension isn't really meant for throwing it into corners....a tad of understeer.

I bought a car from Angelo at sound auto about a week ago, Had to bring the car back down to get the registration and have it detailed. The tire went flat as were were sitting there ( luckily when I was not on the highway). They were going to replace the tire but they couldn't find a match so they ended up putting on 4 brand new tires! Hello, Because of the conditions of our roads in Westchester I was looking for a car that could keep up with the latest "pot holes". When I asked around one place and name kept coming up on a consistent basis. Everyone said to go to Stamford Subaru. When I did go I was introduced to Robert Fuch, and boy was I glad I spoke to him. He did not pressure me or my family in any way, and his professionalism is top notch. He takes his time and tries to understand your needs and what you expect from the car. He is a wonderful person to know and to have dealt with. Yes his recommendation on which type of car for my family and me was 100% dead on. We have already taken one mini-vacation (3 days) in the car and it drove and handled the road like a dream, just like he said it would. I am looking forward to take a 2-week driving vacation in 8 weeks in the car. If you are looking for a car and asked me whom I would buy my next car from I would not hesitate to say STAMFORD SUBARU and see ROBERT FUCH! I have 2-pinched nerves in the center of my back so a car ride anywhere is a new degree of pain. I explained the type of ride my back needs, the type of family car we need and he suggested and explained to me what type of car I should try. I suggested another car and he told me why that car would not be a good choice, but said we would try both cars. The ride was several left and rights, and over some bumpy roads.... even 2 potholes, and you know what? NO PAIN! It was the first ride I took that did not require a painkiller when I got out. I was so comfortable in that car that I did not want to try the other car. Since I did not want to test-drive the other car he suggested to just sitting in the other car in the show room to feel the difference on my back. Needless to say he was 100% dead on and I am very happy with my new car.

On Saturday, Naz greeted us with a new shiny, clean 2017 White Nissan Pathfinder and we were very excited! My wife and I spent the past 3 months test driving cars, specifically SUV's - X2, Q5, Acura MDX, Discovery Sport, MKC, Lexus. During those months we received 3 letters from Nazario inviting us to stop by and chat about what Napoli Nissan has to offer. Our Rogue lease was up in January and we had never considered a Pathfinder. The obvious reason for Naz's long term success at Napoli is because he is a nice person, knowledgeable about the Nissan products and he is an excellent listener. He introduced us to the pathfinder which was not on our list and as it turned out, it was the perfect car for us. Naz not only matched our car requirements, but he beat the monthly lease price we were set to spend. Our daughter bought a Versa and we bought a Rogue 3 years ago. We will be back after this lease and will see our 'friend' Naz. Even if you don't think you are interested in a Nissan, you should make a trip to Napoli to see Naz and experience first class professionalism in the car sales business. A note on Finance: This is the first time we met with Ken to do the finance paperwork. Ken was incredibly personable and explained every option that was available to us. He also gave us pricelesss information regarding the credit rating companies and how they work and what to look out for in the future. Ken loves country music as much as we do - we had a some great conversation about the industry and artists. Buying a car from Napoli was a fun experience - we will be back. John & Kathy

I bought this car used with 33,000 miles on it. I've had it for about 3 months. It is a 4-cylinder, so there's not a lot of power. It takes effort to get up to speed getting on the freeway, but I can adjust. My last car was a 6-cylinder. I love the body style and the orange color. I got the manual transmission and it's a lot of fun to drive. It wants higher grade gas, but gets great gas mileage.

Greentree Toyota provided the best price on the Prius Prime I was shopping around for. I actually took a test drive at another Toyota dealership, among the 6 dealers I was shopping around with. But they were unable to beat or even match the price Joe Cosgrove offered. They told me, "if Greentree is willing to stand by that price quote you should buy it because that's a really good offer". I decided to follow that advice and drove straight back to Danbury and bought the car that afternoon. Joe stuck around an extra 20 minutes and I bought the car at 5:20 PM on Saturday, Nov. 10th. Joe provided full instructions on how the car operates on the day I drove it home and I haven't had any problems with it. Just bought my first 8 1/2 gallons of gas this morning after driving it 519 miles. I've charged it up about 3 times so far and it does seem to go around 25 miles before the gasoline engine takes over. Very fuel efficient, I'm pleased.

I purchased a 2017 Elantra towards the end of 2016 brand new. I had to have the paint on the front of the car around the hood repaired under warranty due to it randomly peeling about a year ago while it was barely under the cap for mileage on the warranty. I’m active duty military so I’ve put a lot of mileage on my car pcsing and visiting family so my car is no longer under warranty and the paint has been chipping in various areas of the car since the last repair. I searched the web and found that several other customers have also been having this problem with the pearl white paint on this year/make/model so I feel like it’s pretty safe to say the paint was faulty and Hyundai should be liable to fix this considering I payed full price for a below average/faulty product. I called Hyundai to inquiry to see if I missed a recall since it’s been such a prevelant issue for customers, I was informed that there wasn’t and customer service told me to contact the dealership I had the paint repaired at while under warranty even though it was in a different location to see if they would repair it. I called the dealership and they offered to take pictures and submit them to Hyundai to see if they could help since it wasn’t the same location they had repaired but I’m deploying in a week and they said there likely wouldn’t be a solution by then which is understandable but no one has even been able to give me a straight answer other than contact numbers to pay for a paint job out of pocket from a body shop. I’ve been transferred 5 or 6 times contacting three different locations to see if someone could help me but alas, nothing. It’s definitely not worth paying for a brand new car only for it to start peeling and looking trashy less than two years later due to low quality paint. If they would have done a recall and provided a solution to their customers complaints I would have rated it much higher because everything else about the car has been wonderful.

When my husband first went into Generation Kia, it was only because the dealership was so close to his job. We had a worn out Oldsmobile Delta 88 and we desperately needed a new car, but we had never bought a new vehicle before, ever. My husband met David Pigate first, and when he called me and told me he was looking at cars, I didn't expect us to get approved. We didn't have the greatest credit and we had only been in NY for a year. David was very optimistic though. When I got to the dealership and met David I was first struck by how genuinely nice he was. He didn't give off that sleazy used car dealer vibe that we all think of when we think of car dealerships. He was outgoing, sweet, and took a genuine interest in us. He even got our daughter a couple snacks while we were waiting. That was the only thing that sucks about car buying is the waiting, and the waiting, and the hours you spend there. But, we didn't have great credit AND we couldn't do a huge downpayment, so we knew they were working hard to figure things out for us. We ended up with a really nice 2014 Jeep Patriot with payments that we could afford and even afterwards when we were having issues with all of the points we needed to finish registering the car, they let us take the Jeep home on dealer tags so I wouldn't be left without a car. Fast forward a year later to now, and my husband needed to get a second vehicle for work. He wanted a Dodge Ram 1500. At first, he looked at actual Dodge/Chrysler dealerships. He got "pre-approved" with "no money down" by Chrysler Capital and we thought that was pretty great. After talking to one dealership though, he felt pretty good about a truck, but the next day (after they had run inquiries on his credit like TEN times) they never called him back. He was livid. We talked to another Dodge/Chrysler dealership and kind of had the same thing. They didn't have a huge selection of older used Rams (like 2010-2013) and the only one that they did have that we could really afford we couldn't get financed for. Frustrated with everything, my husband was about to give up. I told him (even before we went to the second dealership) that we should call David again. He didn't think they'd have anything for us, but lo and behold they had a couple Rams that were just what my husband was looking for. My husband went and looked at a couple and we really liked one. Talking to David and Ron, we realized that my husband's credit and mine as well had taken a hard hit from the other dealerships who had flooded our credit with over 20 inquiries in less than two days! David and Ron explained how this would look to the banks in trying to get a loan, but they said they would try anyways for us. Again, David worked tirelessly for us. He even came in on his day off to help finalize the paperwork and we were able to get our second vehicle! This dealership is the best. They really do treat you like family. I could go on and on. Honestly, David was and is the best car salesman ever and he ruined it for every other car salesman out there :-D.

But even I was surprised to find out how good an experience it would be. Within 20 minutes I had purchased my new 2018 Tucson. My daughter loved it! Brought tears to her eyes. Everything is better on this than the junk car she was driving. Nav, CD, Bluetooth, good tires, sturdy steering, good gas mileage, backup camera, even the speakers work! 😁. That's important to a music major. There's room to tote her Bass to the Jazz Lab. She is a very happy camper! Seriously, though, a "Walking Dead Special Edition" vehicle?

I went to the dealership April 22'2016 not knowing what to expect because I've worked in a past dealership. I was greeted promptly by Mr. J.Cottone who was by my side, extremely helpful & courteous the entire time. I immediately test drove a car, discussed my options & before I knew it I was getting insurance with Sammatha ( who was also a doll to work with) & having my plates & registration all done before I pulled out. This is my new family for sure & I will be back in the future!! Thank you all for my FANTASTIC experience.????
Engine died at 49,000 miles

I bought my 2016 used when it was two years old and had 35,000 miles on it. At 49,000 miles the engine died and needed to be replaced. I was lucky that I did not go over the 50,000 mile mark, because then I would not have qualified for a free replacement since I was the second owner. The new engine is doing well, but this is still a cautionary tale. Also, I had t get one headlamp replaced about five times before it worked properly, and that was expensive.

Pinch me! Can’t believe I drive this much car for what I paid! 18 Value Edition, nearly fully loaded; Sunroof, blind spot, Apple Car Play and push button start. Auto climate control and heated seats are amazing in winter. Don’t even want to get out of the car. Air super cool in the summer. Transmission shifts like butter. Engine at idle so quiet, I have gotten out without pushing the button thinking the car was off already. Only car I’ve ever owned without a single squeak or rattle at this point of ownership. All the power you need on sport mode. Getting avg 38-40 mpg daily on work commute. Back up camera with dynamic guidelines and monitor THE best of any car rental I’ve ever driven. Wow!

I bought the 2013 Elantra for my wife who commutes about 30 miles per day. This model has every option available, and it's a fun car to drive. It gets good gas mileage, so she can run around in it everywhere without breaking the bank on gas expenses. The ONLY complaint we've had is the "high performance" (i.e. SKINNY) tires, which are so thin that they find every bump and jerk you around. Other than that, it's a great car (and the tires will soon be replaced with some bigger ones.)

This is my first car and I am so happy I chose this one. I love it because of the usb port for my music as well as the efficiency for the amount of gas you're putting into it (36mpg hwy) is pretty great! I believe this car will satisfy all needs for any driver. It also is eco friendly with a 7/10 emmissions rating for the environment

John Mercado and John Evans are great people. They don???t treat you as numbers they treat like a person. They solved all my requests with no hesitation. I had horrible experience in the past with Hyundai in Meriden. In Meriden, they are unprofessional, rude. I will never go back there in my life, these people just see you as a dollar sign. Another awful experience was in Hyundai Hartford were they only care about selling you a car and no willing to help you needs or what you are looking for. Everything change when I walked in into Branfon New Haven Hyundai, great staff, great management, they listen to you and work with you to help satisfied your needs. I came into MIke's Motors uknown if I can get a car because I had a repo and no other car dealership would not approve me for a car loan...but Mike's motors did. And now I am the proud owner of a 2008 Nissan Sentra, it has low miles and also a 20 point car inspection I am very happy and the staff answers all my questions...I give them 5 stars all around.
