The very best buying experience ever ... bar none.

Quick summary: Began researching QX60s two weeks ago. Registered for the Vehicle Purchase Program through my company. The program directed me to several dealerships. Greg Shields reached out promptly from Sheehy Annapolis. Given my wife and my schedule we planned to purchase Memorial Day weekend. We reached out to Greg on a Saturday; he scheduled us to come in on Monday. Here's where the magic began. We arrive at 10am Monday with a rambunctious set of kids (5 and 7) in tow. Dennis Hunt graciously opened the door and helped get us set up in the very well-equipped and clean customer waiting area. I found out later that Dennis is a fraternity brother of mine (Omega Psi Phi); that made his politeness even more understandable :-) Greg came and greeted my family and me and got us started. He walked us methodically through each step of the process. Put us in an amazing 2016 QX60 and guided us on a comprehensive test drive. Every question was answered and he was very kind to my kids who asked the occasional random, off-beat questions that 5 and 7 year olds ask. We got back to the dealership, Greg built us the specific vehicle we were looking for, then we got down to brass tacks. The price discussion was stress free, direct, and honest. Greg offered us several options and took our financial considerations into serious regard. He got us to where we wanted to be in terms of price, financing, and monthly payment. We met with the Finance Manager at 12:30 and were on our way by 1:15. No muss, no fuss. Here are a few kickers: 1. Every single person we came in contact with was genuinely polite and kind. I mean EVERYONE. The receptionist, the other sales consultants (everyone we ran across congratulated us and Ed was great and set the tone upon our first arriving), the sales manager (who was cooking out on the grill and prepared hot dogs and hamburgers for my family), the cashier (who let my kids munch on snacks in the customer waiting area and didn't mind that were all over the place). We did not encounter a single poor or fake attitude. 2. The dealership is immaculate and is designed with the customer in mind. It was comfortable and offered complimentary refreshments that were awesome. 3. Last but not least - Greg Shields was AMAZING. We will be customers of his as long as he is selling automobiles. Greg made our buying experience the very best we have ever had. We discussed it the entire way home from Annapolis to Gaithersburg. He is a class act and a consummate professional. I will recommend every single person I know looking to purchase a vehicle to Greg at Sheehy.
