Have been eyeing a cupple on the lot .....got all im looking for.....just have not been able to get to see and test drive yet.....they have not pressured me for info or sales ..if they have what im looking for at the right time....i will follow up and continue the process...
Great selection of inventory, knowledgeable and polite salespeople (especially Dom and Jon) and a beautiful facility gave Crowley VW the edge on a day where I had already seen 2 other dealerships. This is the third car my family has purchased from the Crowley group but the first from VW. This team has set the bar way above their competition.
Don’t let the fact that this is a small independently owned dealership deter you. It was hands down the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. The owner is kind, trustworthy, fair, and honest. I just picked up my new car at CarMax of Hartford and, I have to say, this was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. I had found a Ford Explorer that I wanted to see on their lot. I put a hold on the vehicle on their website, very early in the morning. By 9am the same morning, I was contacted by Rocco Toce, the most awesome sales person around. I have bought many vehicles through the years and he is the top of the list! We went to look at the truck and he had it clean and ready for us to test drive. We loved the truck but it just didn’t have all the options that we were looking for. I found the exact Explorer we wanted in New York and Rocco jumped right in to help us transfer the vehicle to Hartford. I have to admit, it IS a leap of faith to pay the transfer fee upfront before even seeing the vehicle in person. Rocco jumped in and took over. He spoke to the other CarMax and had them check every part of the vehicle out. I felt very comfortable after he called and told me the truck sounds good. My Explorer made it to Hartford very quickly and Rocco immediately checked it out and let us know it was perfect! I went to see it yesterday. It was beautiful and in the best shape. Rocco took us through the entire car and never rushed us through anything. He sent our Explorer to detailing while my 2009 Silverado was appraised. I received a fair price for my trade and the deal was smooth and handled professionally by the staff. I’m pretty sure I have not had a better car buying experience. Rocco and the team at Hartford CarMax could not have done more to make our experience the best. I did a ton of research about CarMax like I’m sure everyone does. I drove over an hour to work with them and I am so glad I did. We walked out of there with a great, shiny Ford Explorer and the greatest car buying experience!
After returning a rental car (we have always had great experiences in this department working with Casey. She has always been great to work with and established our comfort level from the start with this dealer), we happen to stop and take a look at the Jeep Wranglers that Bolles had on the lot before we left. We were approached by a very pleasant and courteous salesperson who introduced himself as Sage and asked if we had any questions. We spoke only for a short time as we had to leave for another engagement but took Sage's card and went on our way. Over the next couple of days, we would call in to Sage with various questions regarding the Wrangler and always found him extremely helpful. Ultimately we returned to discuss a potential purchase. We were introduced to Scott, Sales Manager who turned out to be as helpful and low pressure as Sage. A few days later we were driving home in our new Wrangler having had one of the best and easiest car buying experiences we have had to date.
We would highly recommend this dealer. All employees that we have met so far are pleasant, helpful and very approachable. Car negotiations were very easy and LOW pressure. The facility is nice and presents a very comfortable atmosphere. Being longtime residents of Stafford, we had never considered buying a car here previously, but are glad we took the few minutes to speak with Sage that first day.

Scott, the sales manager, and Brian Kentfield, Manager, - both took the time to find me the perfect truck with all the options I wanted. Their effort is important to mention because the criteria of the search changed several times. Requiring them to start the search all over again. Leasing this truck was an investment and they went the extra mile to find the right one.
They had this beautiful truck delivered to Connecticut and took care of all the paperwork. I came back the next day and the truck was fully detailed and ready to go.
Scott took the time to go over everything inside the truck and made sure I understood how all the new technology worked without having to read the book.
I would like others to know that there was no pressure to push an immediate sale. The atmosphere was relaxed. I was able to look around and see what I was interested in and then when I was ready -- they came to answer questions and take one of the trucks out for a test drive.
Also, I would like everyone to know, there was no battle to negotiate. The dealership was honest and upfront about everything they were able to do. We settled the numbers very easily and everything was up front and out in the open.
