My 2018 Jeep Compass Limited left me stranded twice. Both times it would not start. They were unable to find the problem. Two trips to the dealer. First time it had a little over 200 miles on it second time 3,500 miles on it. Battery is good, charges, mechanic thinks there is something that is causing the battery to lose charge, but, is unable to figure it out. I am now involved with FCA Customer Care . Hoping for a fix to the car,as, it is fun to drive when it works. Comfortable for me , fun panoramic sunroof, and a nice radio. Though being worried every time I go to start it , is not a nice way to feel. This is a safety issue. I would not buy this car again...Too many hassles with the car and aspects of having to work with FCA. I am very happy to read of all the people that are loving their cars. It gives me hope..Be sure you purchase the extra rental policy with the car..
First of all, I hadn't bought a vehicle in 19 years. When it was time to do it again, I started my search online. Of all my requests to numerous dealerships, only DOW had answered. Ted Ackley from DOW wrote that he would be available to answer any questions I had. I told him I would be back in town in a couple of weeks and he replied that he would be available at any time. When I actually came to DOW, Ted was the most knowledgeable and accommodating salesperson I had ever worked with, because he answered every question and gave me his time with no pushiness. If he had, it just wouldn't have worked. He tried everything to give me the best deal and finally, the deal I accepted. He said he would always be available to help with any questions I would have in the future. Even though I came with my husband, Ted directed every issue to me and not my husband, even though it was obvious that they got along. This kind of respect made the buying experience a joy. He bent over backwards to make everything easy. Thanks, Ted and to all the staff at DOW. I will return for my future car and/or truck purchase. Lastly, Mr. Dow, thank you for employing the most supurb and courteous people. Cheryl Lewis.

Everything is great except for one thing. We dislike the stop/start feature. It does not save gas like they say it does and the fact it has to be hard on the engine and the starter and the fact if the system fail to start back up , it may leave a family stuck in a dangerous traffic situation...I was not use to it and gave it too much acceleration and nearly rear ended the car in front of me..... This device is a big joke.......
