Concern with positive outcome

I arrived to have my car serviced for traction and ABS lit display. On arrival I was greatly kindly and assured that I would know what was going on with my car. A short time later I was advised of the concern, which was the same displayed at the local auto parts store on their computer. I was advised of the parts and labor but also a concerning $90 charge for the diagnostic service. This is concerning for a few reasons, one the price because the local auto parts store accomplished the same in 5 minutes for free, but mainly because I was never advised on arrival that the diagnosis would even be charged. I was not going to pay $90 extra dollars, plus labor equaling $240+ for a $25 part. The service tech returned shortly with an apology for the inconvenience and would not charge me for the diagnosis due to no advisement. The reason for the 5 star review is because the problem was quickly discovered and corrected and I was able to have my car serviced. Mistakes happen and most dealerships would have continued to take advantage of a situation that was their mistake, instead I was treated fairly. Thank you to the service tech that corrected my problems, I will return for this reason.
