Our friend (and Trent Vehicle Doctor Extraordinaire), Brian Gilmette, referred us to Mike Pecha when I first began searching for my next vehicle. I dragged my feet, I'll admit, because I had not considered a GMC to be in the running. As a previous Volvo owner, I researched and test-drove a Volvo XC 60, S60, and V60, but came away feeling like I'd have to compromise on my list of HMBPs (<---Mike knows what that means). Brian and the AH-mazing Dr. Emily Gilmette (Equine Pediatrician To The Stars) drop-kicked me back in Mike's direction once again. So I called. And he took notes. LOTS of notes. ... And then he found my car. 2 hours later, I drove it, named it, picked out accessories, and began posting FB selfies. The next day (had to wait for the end of Snowpocalypse 2018), we signed on the dotted lines, and I drove away knowing that I would be back again. My 2017 GMC Terrain hit every single one of my HMBPs and even came in $5k under my top price point, had room for my "dawg", and smells better than most of my children, who, by the way, have to pay homage to Mike's business card magnet before they are allowed to obtain breakfast items from the fridge. Raisin' 'em right, ya know. I look forward to micromanaging Brian at my first service appointment, and to sending all my friends who aren't incarcerated to Mike for the pinnacle of car-buying experiences. TURNS OUT Mike is from the same city in WI as my husband, they were both Marines for 20+ years, and were even in the same MSG class...but we like him anyway.
