Very pleasant transaction. Butch was cordial, extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs. Quick and easy; no hassling. All done over the phone. Appreciative they delivered the car to my house, 80 miles away. Drivers were nice as well. My apologizes, but can't recall which manager called me to solidify the transaction. My father (Jim Phillips) bought many of his autos through the years from Paramount and always spoke fondly of their employees.
I used both their local store and their website in searching for cars. I was very surprised that when i submitted a question late one night and was called within one hour. The Sales person was very knowledgeable about their stock.
Joe and Michael were the best and most friendly to work with. I had probably at least a million questions and neither ever made me feel as if I was bothering them. They even stayed open late to do our paperwork so we could get the car on a Friday night.

We had spent the last three days searching and trying to buy this exact truck and do so under budget. We had traveled 5-6 hours a day, to three states and at least eight dealerships. Each of these dealerships had the truck we wanted in stock. Each was given an offer by us for said truck and subsequent negotiations ensued. Some negotiations were short and some were marathons that lasted hours in the store and went on for days.
We walked into your showroom tired, beaten and discouraged. I told your salesman, Dave we were going to have to “speed date” a truck buy. He laughed and said he’d make the process as easy as possible.
To say he and you did would be an understatement. In less than an hour we completed the process. We bought the truck we wanted and stayed under budget. You made many concessions to close the deal,
Not the least of which was making us the strongest offer of any dealership for our trade. A full 10% higher than the next highest. There was very little back and forth. You made us an offer through Dave and we countered. Instead of sitting behind your desk or the one way mirror like other dealerships you came out and greeted us. We had a chat like we’d known each other for years as we whittled down the difference. You gave a little and we gave a little. We’d have liked to buy the truck for a little less and I’m sure you’d like to sell it for a little more. At the end of the day, I’m confident I got the very best deal anywhere this side of the Mississippi.
All I can say is wow. The irony of the whole situation is your dealership is one of the closest to us yet was the last one, obviously, we visited. We were down to one more if we were unsuccessful at your place and we would have to widen our search.

I was looking to trade in my Jeep for an H3 Hummer. I found an Alpha edition at this lot through the internet. I live in Raleigh and made arrangements with GM Austin Kosinski to come down and see the car. On the day I was supposed to go down there, I couldn’t, due to work. I called Austin and we discussed both my Jeep and the H3 over the phone. Austin sent one of his team members up to me (3 hr drive) with the H3. It was all he said it was and the deal was made in my driveway! Talk about going above and beyond for his customers! I would recommend dealing with Austin and this company any time.
I had a great experience shopping and buying a car from this dealership. Joseph helped me with any questions or concerns. He was never pushy. He went above and beyond. I went to the lot looking for a car they had posted on their website but when I got there, I wasn't impressed with it. I ended up driving several of their other cars and decided on something completely different. The buying process took less than 30 mins. Everyone was super helpful and efficient. I would definitely recommend this business and these employees to anyone looking to buy a car.
We were very pleased with the sales person that greeted us, helped us, and sold us this car. Mike Clark was very nice, eager to answer any questions we had, and explaining the process step-by-step. My husband and I needed to drive off the lot with a vehicle that day. Our car had burned to a crisp on the side of the road, so we were very stressed out. I made an appointment with Mike Lovelace and he did his absolute best to work with the bank to get us a good vehicle with no money down and low monthly payments. He promised us my husband would be to work the next day, as we explained to him that he could lose his job if we didn't get a car. He kept his promise.... Working with Gary and Mike Adkins he was able to follow through. By the end of the day we were much less stressed out and left the dealership with a 2012 ford fusion. My husband was back to work the very next day. The folks at Abernethy treat you like friends and they are very patient, helpful and understanding. I appreciate very much them advocating for us and working with the bank to fit our monthly payments into our budget. Will whitener was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to show me where multiple cars, gave me great information and also was explained How my new vehicle oporated. Mike Lovelace is who my sister told me to see about a new car because she was just sold one and loved how respectful and helpful he was, so I went to Mike also I was pre approved then denied thru the dealership but Mike didn't give up he searched for a finance company that gave me a chance. I'm so glad I went to see Mike. So give Mike a try!
