Everyone at Hertz was extremely friendly and low pressure. Bob McClean was my salesperson and he was very helpful throughout the process and answered all of my questions. The sales manager made a point to introduce himself and remind me that there was no pressure to buy.
There was no negotiation process; the car was already below the Kelly Blue Book average price. It was also a couple hundred cheaper than what they had listed online. I believe this is intentional because they have such a high volume of used rental cars they are trying to offload. I've had the car for a few months and haven't had any problems whatsoever.
The other dealers I had gone to previously had offered similar cars for several thousand dollars more and their salespeople were always trying to talk me into paying more than I wanted. Hertz was the complete opposite. The whole process was easy and low pressure. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a used car.
