I came to the dealership not even in the market for a car. Our car was in for service and we had a rental for a week, which I naturally fell in love with. Mike Gallucci, though busy with a customer, found time to break away and answer questions over the phone. He insisted my wife and I come in. Though it was near closing time, I must say, he could not have been more patient and helpful.
We took a long test drive, went through a dissertation of questions and considerations and finally began the initial paperwork. Two hours after closing and emphatically nightfall by now, we left knowing that they had our best interest at heart.

I contacted the Sales Manager Haydn Howe, inquiring about this vehicle. I live in Hawaii and was vacationing to the Chandler area. I arrived at the dealership on Tuesday morning and Haydn asked Emil Najar to show me the vehicle. Emil took me through the car and answered all of my questions. We went out on a test drive and the car performed fantastic. I was going to look at another vehicle, but I was enamored with this car. I made an offer and it was accepted. The paperwork took a little longer than normal, as I financed through USAA and the car is going to be shipped to Hawaii. I drove the car for 5 days in the Phoenix Valley and now it is back at the dealership, awaiting transportation to Hawaii.
Emir's knowledge about Porsche is amazing and he gave me great insight into this vehicle.
Lastly, I had some concerns about the IMS bearing issue and the General Manager Russell Schwartzman took the time to explain this issue and reassured me about this great car I was purchasing.
I have bought many cars and this was a straight forward transaction, no issues at all.
Unfortunately they are 500 miles away from my home and the car I was interested in was a color my wife didn't like. Up until that point it was very professional and sorry we could not have taken the transaction further and buy the car.
I enjoyed working with the sales guy at the dealership. How often can you say that? He was non pushy and worked with me to get the right car. My only negative was that there was some confusion at first about which cars were actually available for sale with their inventory software and what was physically in stock. It didn't matter in the end as I got a car pretty close to what I wanted and the price was OK.
My salesman, Jay Soto, was the reason I bought my new Volvo. I am seventy years old and he was very patient with me. Put no pressure on my but convinced me that buying a Volvo S60 was the right decision for me. He took the deal away from Marin Mercedes by being so easy and not being pretentious. Mercedes made me feel they could take me or leave me. Not, Jay! I felt important to him.
