Arrived skeptical, departed as a new Mustang owner

I drove out to Stivers Ford to see a new Mustang 5.0 they had listed on Cars for about 3,000 less than anyone else in the vicinity. I'll admit that I was initially skeptical--I was half waiting for the "Sorry--the listed price includes a discount for the Underwater Basket Weaving association, of which you are not a member". But that "gotcha" moment never occurred. The salesman, Peter, was friendly and knowledgeable. We dickered congenially over the value of my trade-in, and after a little back and forth, we came to terms.
Then when signing the papers, I was completely prepared to reject any form of extra warranty or add-on, the same way I've always done in the past. However, I got the sense that the finance manager was genuinely trying to find me the best possible value for my situation as opposed to simply trying to make an extra buck off me--he really worked hard to find a good deal for me, and I was thoroughly impressed by his professionalism and customer service.
Truth be told, I was blown away by the whole Stivers operation: the facility, the inventory, and especially the staff. I'm proud to be the owner of a brand new Mustang, and I'll be proud to do business with Stivers again in the future.
