I visited McDonald Mazda West on Saturday, 2 February searching for a new 2018 Mazda 3 Touring for my son who is graduating from the US Air Force Academy in May 2018. It's his first new car and I wanted to ensure he had a positive experience during the buying process. First, I would like to recognize the professional, courteous reception we received from Mr. Robert Nichols when we arrived for our 1PM appointment. What soured our visit was the behavior of the Sales Manager, Tyler (I don't remember his last name). Tyler was vague about answering my questions regarding a new 2016 Mazda 3 Grand Touring vehicle on the showroom floor. He "shushed" Robert three times during our discussion of the vehicle...in front of my son. Finally, Tyler failed to give us written quotes on the 2016 Mazda Grand Touring vehicle and the 2017/2018 Mazda 3 Touring vehicles we are interested in...which was the purpose of our visit. We left McDonald Mazda West empty handed on Saturday. That evening, we decided to make an offer on the 2016 vehicle...which Tyler encouraged us to do after he wouldn't answer my questions. It was countered today but not at price that made sense given that we have an offer over $2,000 lower on a 2017 Mazda 3 Touring vehicle with essentially the same features...and none of the safety features in the 2018 Mazda 3 Touring vehicle. Again, I'd like to praise Mr. Robert Nichols for his service on Saturday and today. It's unfortunate that a person of Robert's caliber must work with a sales manager of Tyler's caliber. Tyler needs to appreciate the quality of his sales team. Tyler also needs to learn how to treat customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Michael and the team was great at Groove Mazda! I went in for my brake/tc/abs lights were on, Michael informed me that my car had a recall on a gas tank seal. The gave me a nice loaner car while my car was being worked on. Michael called me the next morning letting me know that my car was fixed. The brake/tc/abs lights was from a fuse and the gas tank seal was replaced. I would highly recommend going to Groove Mazda for all your cars needs! Michael and the team give great customer service and are very professional! Thank Michael and Groove team!
Andrew is great and helped us find the best vehicle for our current situation. Two-time Mazda owner (sold by Andrew) and counting! We will for sure be back for another.
