My experience in purchasing a new (for me!) car at the Arlington, VA MerLex dealership was simply outstanding. Everyone on staff was friendly, efficient and professional. I have to single-out the sales associate who helped me, Moe. Moe was super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I cannot think of a better car purchasing experience anyone could have beyond Moe and MerLex! Thank you Moe and everyone at MerLex.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
After visiting several of the typical dealerships I walked away confused and Unsatisfied. After visiting Carvana.com I picked out a vehicle to my liking and price point fill out the paperwork got approval I had my new vehicle delivered to my front door. Most typical dealerships you spend half a day walking away with an overpriced vehicle in an overpriced interest-rate. I have been looking at the Camery SE for the past 5 years. Always popping into Dean's office telling him this was the year. Now that both children graduated from college I decided this was the year. I called Dean and told him I was coming in and he had the car and color I wanted brought to the parking lot ready for me to test drive. The sales process was made easy for me thanks to Dean.
From start of my search till I came to their dealership, my experience was just simply amazing. Excellent price, fantastic team, great condition and fast service sums it all for Certified Car Center. If you are looking for just that, you have got to pay them a visit.
Replacing my review titled Be honest with customers. Cars.com doesn’t allow for easy removal or update of reviews. I fixed the issues with the car at my own cost. I had got the car at a good price anyway since when bought new it’s a car that costs over $100k. So I accept that, and since car drives great after the repairs think it’s appropriate to revise the ratings for Imperial Highline.
We met Sean Prather at 4:45 on a 100 degree Saturday evening. After a horrible afternoon of test driving cars at 4 other dealers, we stopped at Laurel Kia on our way home. Sean stayed late to show me a car, which I loved. I had second thoughts over the weekend and I went back at 5pm tonight. He let me sit in 5 cars, stood outside with me in a hailstorm, and helped me decide what would best fit my needs. I am very happy with the entire experience and highly recommend Laurel Kia and Sean Prather. The finance professional was also super helpful. The dealership is no-frills. But they have complimentary beverages and it’s very clean and upbeat. If I wanted a manicure I would go to a nail shop. I wanted a car, and I got one today! Thanks!
WOW Pure Car Buying is different kinda dealer. This was a great experience. I was looking for a Honda Odyssey because me and my wife saw how good the reviews are on the Odyssey's so we saw Pure Car Buying and they have the really great prices on there vehicle's. We are Truly happy with the service and our new van. Thank you guys!!!.
The post office lost everything that Kingstowne sent so that I could register my car in my home state. Kingstowne was kind enough to let me come pick up the documents instead and give me a new set of temporary tags.
Purchased a 2013 BMW in late November from AP Fairfax as an early Xmas gift for the wife. We visited 5 other dealerships prior to our purchase and we are pleased with the purchase as well as the purchase experience. Up to this point, the wife is happy with the vehicle.
However, our customer service experience after the purchase has been disappointing to say the least. 95% of the time when calling our original POCs to discuss issues that require resolution on behalf of the dealership they are "in a meeting" or "not in at the moment" and do not return calls until a few days later. Two cases in point:
1. The vehicle was missing a hard copy of the owner's manual and the dealership provided paperwork acknowledging I was owed an owner's manual. When I checked on the status of the manual a couple of weeks later, was advised they are not responsible to provide such an item...Until I provided them the paperwork that showed they owed such a manual. I was advised the manual was available of pick up this week (39 days after purchase).
2. I was advised the license plates for the car were ready for pick-up (week prior to Xmas). Wife drove to the dealership to pick up the plates and somehow the plates were misplaced. I continued asking for a status on the plates after Xmas and New Year's only to get in a perpetual loop of "it’s the holiday season and folks who work on that are in and out...will get back to you." Finally, was advised on 03 Jan that no one knows where the plates are located and they are missing (isn't there a person that oversees license plate chain of custody or tracking?). The dealership representative advised I needed to go to DMV (yes you read that right…I have to go to the DMV) to request replacement plates as they are unable to do so on my behalf. I asked if the dealership plans to re-reimburse me a portion of the titles/tags fee that I paid when I purchased the vehicle since it did not fill its obligation to provide me plates. I was advised I would not be reimbursed any portion of the fee. As such, I asked to speak to a manger and was advised "he is not in" (surprise!) and I would be called back...No calls have been received. As such, I now need to take a day off of work ($$ out of my pocket) to go stand in line at the DMV (always an awesomely joyful and refreshing experience) as a result of AP Fairfax's lack of sufficient customer service.
I am hopeful my situation is the exception vice the rule; there are some really nice folks that work at AP Fairfax and the cars they sell are impressive. However, my customer service experience after purchase has been unexpectantly disappointing to say the least.
