This is a dealership without commissions...they had no incentive other than to collaborate to make me happy. Unlike other dealership experiences where my entire experience was a draw of the luck of the agent who would reach me first, here I encountered collaboration between various employees, all with the common purpose of helping me find the right auto. No pressure with purchase. Excellent follow-up. Impressed.
We came to Legend to see a van we found on Auto trader. I called ahead and John had it pulled up ready for us to see. He was awesome in showing us all the features and letting us take it out for a decent length test drive. He never pushed us to look at any more expensive vehicles we didn't want like most used car salesmen do. Mike in finance was awesome to work with as well. He made the whole process extremely easy. Everyone was perfect, personable and welcoming (so important to respect and treat your staff well to empower them to pass that kindness and respect to the customers). Just one small thing and the details are so important, remind all the car wash staff who vacuum to get the seat crevices that collect crumbs on the top of the seat. I calle the day before and they got me right in. My car had not been serviced in awhile and they were able to find a few other things that really need to be taken care of. Stori communicated with me several times during the day keeping me updated on the progress. I picked up the car right when they said it would be ready and was out of there very quickly with a nice clean car.
I came to Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma in the beginning of October and I was greeted by Augustus in the sales department. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and took me around to show me different cars that might work for me when I am ready. With every other car buying experience I’ve had, if I would have told the salesman that I was not ready to buy they would not have given me the time of day or would have been so pushy. But this time was so refreshing. Will definitely go through Augustus and Mercedes of Tacoma when I am ready!

I had a difficult to diagnose issue with my C450 transmission. The service manager, John Shepard, quickly identified a tricky issue and obtained the software fix from Germany and scheduled a service appointment. The appointment was carried out in an equally skilled and efficient manner by the service adviser, Garrett, and an unidentified tech. The gist of all this is that these guys did what the selling dealer could not, did it with a smile, and got it right. Sum: MB of Lynwood is all you have to know. (I did write the owners and suggest raises and bonuses! ;) )
Addendum: I should add that the measure of any dealer's service department lies in the hard, not the easy cases. I've been driving performance cars for nearly 50 years, and this department gets an A+.
