I have to dismiss all the bad jokes about used car salesmen. I met an extraordinary salesman, Joe Murphy, at Paris Motors, Inc., who proved the jokes wrong. I was in the market for a van and hoped on getting something affordable and soon for a trip out of town. Another dealer had one lined up, but it was sold before I could get to the shop - stuff happens. So back to Carfax and found one with less miles in Grand Rapids. I contacted Paris Motors and spoke with Mr. Murphy. The van was available. I went through credit approval, got it, then on to my AAA agent for insurance, got it, then made the one-hour drive to Grand Rapids and met with Joe. We talked, saw the van, gave a test drive, and my wife and I signed the paperwork. All this within 24 hours! Mr. Murphy was efficient, personable, and knowledgeable throughout the process. I have never before purchased a vehicle with such ease in my life (and I'm not young). WOW - I can highly recommend Paris Motors, Inc. as a dealer of care and quality, and kudos to Joe Murphy.

I’m really enjoying the vehicle. It runs well and is enjoyable with its size and sunroof. The stereo system works well, it’s just a good car. Came when great tires, too!

So I just bought a used 2010 Mercury Mountaineer, with a restored salvage title. Typically I do not buy vehicles that don’t have a clean title. Obviously this vehicle was in an accident, and restored. I test drove the vehicle twice before deciding to buy it. I have to say there are a few quirks I have to work out of the system, but the engine and transmission is solid! With just over 100k miles this vehicle is by far one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever bought used, inside and out. I upgraded from an 03 Ford Ranger that had the 2.3L engine 5 speed manual. I wanted something automatic and with more HP. The Mountaineer doesn’t disappoint. For $4,500 I feel this vehicle was a smart purchase even if I have to put some time and money into fixing the weird quirks. I wish there was a way to submit pictures in this review to show just how clean this vehicle is. I would not hesitate on buying another one.

I got my used 2006 Mercury Premier Mountaineer V8 that had 262,410 miles on it, I'm at 336,710 now, years later, bought her I 2020, I'm in 2025 now, she's still going as strong as any mustang it feels, with minor repair needed in the near future, like a fuel pressure sensor and new struts. Amazing vehicle! I've gone places only jeeps would go, pulled double axles trailers, even drove for 20 hours to the Pacific Northwest, definitely a vehicle I would recommend, if you want something reliable for years to come!

Got this car in high school for 1,000 dollars. Very reliable and I have had it for almost 3 years. I usually drive it to work and school. But I love the room in the trunk bc most cars dont have that amount of space especially for the price of the car.

Small Lansing used car lot. Salesmen easy, polite to work with. Decent clean vehicles. Bought a Buick Encore. Had previously looked at many places. This was a nice quick fair experience.

This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)

I was in the market to purchase a reliable used car for my daughter for under $5k. We had been all over town for a couple of weeks. The Hybrid system is great I use the car for work it has gone though many snow storms and rain storms even an ice storm. It's always worked very well

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. I am 6'1 and while I am not a big guy I feel cramped In most cars . The mariner gives me the most space I have ever had in the driver seat. I still feel relaxed after a long drive. It has a stylish look and the hybrid is great on gas and still provides space and convenience for family.

Great vehicle and good value. I bought this vehicle 7 years ago with 15,000 miles on the odometer. It was like new inside and out. I have only had a couple of mechanical issues with the vehicle: First off, If it doesn't shift and downshift correctly, take it to the dealer, as there is a TSB out on this issue. Secondly, make sure to change the coolant every few years. Coolant only lasts so long, so at least every 5 years have it changed. On my Mountaineer the coolant aged and clogged up the radiator, resulting in a very expensive repair. Otherwise the vehicle is great and still looks relatively new despite being 18 years old. Overall very good value for what I paid for the vehicle.

This size SUV serves all of our family needs, is easy and fun to drive, it handles all the winter weather driving conditions safely, is reliable and tows our fishing boat.

The car was perfect for all of our needs. Excellent looks and styling. Interior is roomy and more than adequate for our needs. Being a used car there were some imperfections but overlooked because of the great value and minor aesthetic issues.

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot EX in 2016 from East Coast Auto Source. It had bullet holes in the body and some shot out windows. I repaired the bullet holes, and had the other repairs completed. Car ran well and it needed some other work. Nine years later, we have 211,000 more miles on the Pilot. It was a good price and East Coast Auto Source was upfront and honest about the repairs and had the car shipped to my mechanic. I would bought another car in 2024 from them and I am happy with the deal.

This car met all my need and still meets all my needs currently. It is a great car to have and I will last a very long time if proper care and love go into.

I bought my 03 Mountaineer used in July. I didnt know ANYTHING about these SUV in fact I was unaware of their existence before I found this one. I paid $1,300, it had 108,000 miles on it. Ive owned it 6 months now and yes I have put some work into it but it's a 20 yr old vehicle and so far everything ive done I would've expected a vehicle with that many years to have going on, they just happened to me right away. But you can get the parts for these cheap. I have the 4.0 V6 and I love this car! It has so much power, it is fast as xxxx for a big heavy SUV. It flies down the highway and even handles curves like a sports car. I have to be careful because it takes off right now and I can be doing 90mph without even trying and be at 80mph coming onto the highway. It tows like a champ no problems. As long as I turn the overdrive off when in town and on when I'm on highway it gets great gas milage, I love the big moon/sun roof, the pedals move to me, leather heated seats. I like that I can either open just the back window or the whole hatch depending what im doing. The negative, typical ford rusted out rocker panels, I just filled my tank today and when leaving the station I noticed my fuel gage isnt working, could be the floater is stuck but it only has 110,000 on it now. Because in the 6 months I have owned it it has been in my shop getting the tlc in deserves and im feeling confident that this Mountaineer is gonna be one that goes the distance and some. I hope so. It is a real pleasure to drive.

Very reliable vehicle, runs great, flex fuel. Very clean inside and out. Good car for any age, sporty, yet comfortable for every day needs. Has towing package too.
