The best I have experienced
November 6, 2018
The first thing people who know me say is "you left the dealer sticker on". Usually that is the first thing I do when I get home, I take the heat gun and remove it, I don't advertise. Not so this time, it is still proudly displayed on my truck.
I am 66 years old, and I hate purchasing vehicles. I don't like car salesman and their games. I am not an easy sell. My wife Deb and I spend many months deciding on what vehicle we want to buy long before we visit a dealership. We know the options that are available, and what we want. We study prices, and know what is a good price and what isn't.
We are from the Cumberland, Md area and drove to Pa to look at pickup trucks. We spent hours at a dealership, and just didn't see a vehicle that we would purchase. I was disgusted and ready to return home when Deb bugged me into checking out one more place that had a truck that fit my criteria and her price. I agreed. So we went to Hollern and Sons auto sales.
We arrived. The lot was clean and nice looking. We went into the showroom and were greeted by Brian as he passed by to get a coffee or something. I explained what I wanted, we were familiar with the two vehicles we wanted to look at. We walked around to look at them, he was knowledgeable on the various features. He even helped steer me to the one that best suited my needs. His price was very good (although I didn't tell him that). I think his attitude was have a good product, answer any questions, price it well and it will sell itself (as he sits and pets his dogs).
We bought the truck, he bought my truck, I think we were both happy.
The truck has performed well and exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with the whole experience, and yes I'll gladly leave his sticker on my truck.
Thank you Brian.
