I went to Barry's already knowing what car I was looking for. Scotty made it very easy and quick for me to take it for a test drive to see if it was what I was looking for. Once I made the decision that it was what I wanted he handled all the paperwork and I was able to drive it home that day.
I know it's not often you would say these things about a car dealership, but the staff at Barry's is what all other dealerships should aspire to be. They allow the car and the service to sell itself without the hassle of the pressure, the deceit or the games, After dealing with a less than honest dealership in a nearby city, I contacted Barry's because they have a wonderful reputation in the Newport area! After working with them I see why! They are helpful, funny and make you feel comfortable and at ease about your purchase. Scotty and Jose provided excellent service and their finance manager Arthur is top of the line! I think everyone should consider Barry's when purchasing their next vehicle!

i recently went to Tasca in Cranston with my significant other to pick up a car that he had just purchased with no intention of looking at or buying a car for myself. We (and other family members) have always called on "our" salesperson Lou Colon when we wanted to purchase a vehicle, while my significant other was signing his paperwork, Lou told me about a car that had just come in and he thought it would be perfect for me. i looked at the car and fell in love with it. Lou was right the car he showed me was perfect for me! i love my "new" car! i can't say enough about the Tasca dealership in Cranston. Everyone i have ever dealt with at Tasca has always been friendly and courtesy. They do everything possible to make the car buying process as easy as possible. i will continue to recommend Lou Colon and the Tasca dealership in Cranston.
This was the first time I actually bought a car on my own, Alex made me feel like it was not a big deal and that I would be OK, I don't think he realized it. I went from a huge Suburban to a much smaller car, he knew I was nervous, so when we went on our test drive it was great, as he explained what the car had to offer and made me feel at ease. I would recommend anyone to go work with him. Bruce is the same manager and also come over and talk to me and he was so kind and has a huge heart!
I love this dealership! Rebecca is absolutely amazing and so friendly and accommodating. She really helped when I was so indecisive about which car I wanted. There was absolutely no pressure to buy a car which I loved. All the other places I went to were too pushy, but not Hertz! Whole experience was great, and they were close by too!
Hertz already made their money on the vehicles. They sell them cheap to move them. The service is poor, but friendly. The company that preps the cars in Johnston used old oil from oil changes on tires and the engine instead of armour all or a non-petrolium product. I am getting sling from deteriorating tires and oil all over the side of my vehicle, even a month later. I expect I should replace the tires soon. Repairs requested were done the cheapest way possible, with adhesive instead of replacing broken parts, which means they're not completely secure, and I will be replacing them at my own expense. All this takes away any savings made on my purchase.
I dealt with Larry Shwartz. LIke many reviews I read, he takes a long time for registration and title and doesn't return calls or emails. They covered the penalty fees and gave me a rental car, but the experience was far from fun. Thankfully the price was very good. The price was good. My only suggestion is that you ask for Jim.

I have been looking for a particular pre owned car for two months. Mostly big franchise new car dealers who also sell used vehicles. I was somewhat hesitant to look at vehicles from a pre owned only dealer. I had no real reason just my incorrect way of thinking. Automax of Attleboro was a pleasant surprise. Great inventory and some very fair pricing. They had the car I wanted and priced it where I needed to be and were also fair on my trade. Leo did a great job and was honest. Robert in finance is right out of central casting and got he job done for me. Very good experience and recommend them highly if you are in the market for a quality pre owned vehicle.
I was switching my old registration over to my new vehicle. I was given an honest and reasonable expectation of when my registration would be available. Eddily emailed me with updates and answered all of my questions throughout the process. Good experience, overall!
