On Labor Day weekend 2018 we found ourselves in need of a new vehicle. On Saturday we drove to our favorite dealer "Bill Korum's Puyallup Nissan" in Puyallup Washington and checked in with our favorite sales guy "Boot" we told him what we were looking for. It is our second car we needed to replace so we were looking for a used SUV. Boot hooked us up with a 2010 Nissan Armada, LOVE IT! It took about 2 hours total to drive in, test drive, go through financing and get the vehicle. We were off and on our camping trip the next day. Thanks Boot... We have seen him now in 2016, 2017 and 2018 for our automotive needs. Thanks Boot!
We came to look at a used truck that ended up not being quite what we were looking for (king cab, not a crew cab) but the sales staff were so friendly, helpful and direct, we ended up coming back the next day to buy from them instead of another dealership. No hard sale, no price pressure, just good listening, lots of knowledge about what they were selling and hard work to find the right truck for us. We were impressed.
I visited Bob Korum’s Puyallup Nissan on October 21, 2017 and purchased a 2016 Jeep Renegade. Jimmy Shinyeda helped us and he was wonderful! I believe I got a great car for a great price! My husband and I were in and out of there in no time.....it was the BEST car buying experience that we have ever had and we are senior citizens! I would definitely do business at Bob Korum’s Nissan again especially if Jimmy is still working there!

I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about Reginald Boot in sales with Puyallup Nissan!!! I by far, had the BEST, most outstanding service with Reginald Boot with purchasing my new car, than I've EVER had with anyone else in past experiences with purchasing a new or used car! Reginald Boot went above & beyond to make my purchasing experience both positive & pleasant, in EVERY respect! From offering me coffee, water, etc., to making sure I knew where the restroom was. We ran into a few glitches along the way with my purchase, but Reginald Boot was very positive & optimistic throughout the whole process, and because of him, we got the deal done!!! Reginald Boot, such a GOOD man & human being!!!
Our family had been looking for a nice car for quite awhile, and wasn't having any luck due to our credit history. Chris came out to talk with us, showed us around, and ran some numbers for us. It was Sunday, banks are closed, and a holiday on Monday, Tuesday afternoon I get a call from Chris telling us we can pick up our car. I don't know how, No money down, payments were exactly what we were looking for, inc. our insurance! Chris and everybody there was just awesome.
Ask for Dane. If you tell him Chris sent you, he will laugh - because truth be told I am not a typical customer and I ran him through the ringer buying my GT plugin hybrid Outlander. Although born here, Dane spent a lot of time on the East Coast and thus comes across as an East Coast "car salesman" EXCEPT for some critical differences:
1) He not only knows what he's talking about when describing these amazing hybrid 4x4s but knows when there is something he does not know....and is thus open to learning more from customers. He also fully admits the cars shortcomings. It is easy to underestimate how critical this is in a salesperson when one is considering such a huge purchase.
2) Honesty and trust lead to successful deals. They also lead to successful after-sales relationships. No matter the issue, Dane - and by extension Younkers - was there months after the sale was completed. Every time I return - even for merely getting the license plates attached or asking weird questions - Dane answered back immediately, politely and enthusiastically. "Car salesperson" is not an easy job. They don't make much $ and are some of the most maligned workers in this country. They work long hours and put up with customers suspicious of them before even meeting them. Dane handled that role very well. He's a "real" person who I found easy to trust and the kind of guy you could call a friend after the deal. The overall experience at Younkers was very laid back, easy and commendable.
Great car buying experience with Dane. My daughter and I drove out of our way and it was well worth it. Dane and the whole team, Deborah in financing, and the service crew all made the process quick and easy. They worked out a great deal for us. Contact Dane he will take care of you.

Salesperson was reliable and returned calls. He helped with setup. The buying process and meeting with the closer took a few hours. She pulled out all the stops to get me to buy the extended warranty and paint protection. I declined, then suddently everything was half price, then I declined again and got a bit deeper discount. This is frustrating and I'd prefer to be quoted a fari price with 20% markup rather than offered something for 300% cost theny get it for a decent price only because I bargained and would not get ripped off.
Service department folks were nice. The waiting area is no frills, very different from the BMW dealership, but that's ok.
Go to Puyallup Nissan for your next car! ask for Whitney Jenkins. He was super nice and helped me get into a new Sentra and my husband into a new frontier. He was caring and very nice to my daugther, even when she was getting fussy. He even took money out of his own pocket to get us something to drink and bought both my husband and i keychains for our new cars. Highly recommend this place. We are very happy customer's and will be returning for future purchases.
Buying a car from here was the best experience I’ve ever had! I have been taken advantage of in the past, but from the moment I spoke to my salesman Kelvin it was different. This was the first time I felt like I wasn’t being taken advantage of and the whole process was fast, but without me feeling rushed or pressured!
