Have you ever been in a bind and needed a car, but didn't have a whole lot of money? Well that was my case. My current vehicle was on the blink and it was going to cost too much money to repair and I had to do something. I had been up and down route 5 for about two weeks and couldn't find a car that was affordable without looking like a pile of poo. Rodney Hanna was so friendly and kind. He let me take the car I saw online for a test drive twice. He was very forthcoming with some history on the vehicle. I felt confident with his 15 years of service at United Auto. My husband and I decided to give him our business. The transaction was very smooth and uncomplicated. The car we purchased was reasonable enough that we did not need financing. I'm glad we found this dealership and our Diamond in The Rough. They have a great mechanic there by the name of John who was also very nice. I will definitely refer my friends and associates to this dealership.

83,000 to 125,000kms. This was my first car; only car at the time; driven regularly. City and highway driving. Features 350z engine, 2-seat "Elite" rear package, good sportiness, comfort and features. Not a bad car, but there are much better options out there. No serious downsides except the auto transmission, which is prone to failure anywhere past the 130,000kms mark- and even started knocking before then (go Manual instead). The soundsytem is mediocre for Bose, turning radius is wide and vehicle altogether quite heavy with significant body roll.

The day before my b-day, I was out "just looking" for a used car, and stopped at Harte Nissan. I pulled in, and drove right pass the customer parking until I heard a man's kind, gentle voice. "Ma'am, park over here in the shade". He was pointing to a clearly marked, customer parking area. That man was Greg Williams, my ideal salesman. Greg was so patience, so knowledgeable. His personality was similar to meeting a long-lost friend, who now sells cars. He heard everything I said about what I was hoping to find, and what I could afford. It was a great afternoon, but unfortunately, I was denied financing. Greg pomised that he would call me after he did some research. The day after my b-day, Rob, the General Manager called. He asked me a few questions in regard to my financial situation. He was so easy to talk to, we were brainstorming together, bottom line, find a co-signer. Maybe I could, maybe I couldn't. Rob was going to call me in a few days. Less than a hour later, Greg calls and is crazy jubilant! "Maureen, Rob got you financing, he's an amazing man! When can you come to get your new car"? Long story short, I call it creative financing! I met Rob briefly to thank him. He gave me a sweet smile, then turned to help a customer. It was like I was thanking him for a cup of coffee! I really wanted to hug him, but he was behind the counter. While I waited for my New Car, I overheard several of the staff compliment him for how he manage to find a bank to finance me. Rob just smiles, no ego, no bragging, no looking for praise. I was in desperate need for a car that was younger that the 2003 hunk of junk I had, that was constantly breaking down. Now, I can drive out to Oregon to live, to be a grammy to Goldie, my 1st grandbaby! All because of those people at Harte Nissan made it happen. I'm beyond happy!!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

1st thing you can do is look past the inflated sticker price as the actual deals on the Maxima make this car a super value! When this design appeared in 2016 the rest of the competion needed 3 years to try to catch up...and they haven't. We loved our 2016 so much we just replaced it with a 2019. This car comes with so much standard equipement and the Platinum level has things you cannot get in an Avalon or an Acura TLX. Like Panoramic sunroof, power rear window shade, drivers seat thigh extension. remote start from key fob, Google car play, larger tires, roadside spped sign reader, etc. While other manufacturers brag about their many transmission gears, the Maxima tops them all with an infinite ratio constant velocity transmission. What this means to the consumer is a turbine smooth power delivery and an honest 32+ mpg on the road. In reality this is a 4 passenger car for best comfort. While not a sports car, the design makes for a great handling and stopping car. Nissan has upgraded all the latest safety features like emergency braking etc. The problem here is this vehicle offers so much it is often comparded to those costing 5 to 10 grand more.

1. Too many cars to choose from. That's always a good thing to have. 2. Experienced salesmen. A special mention for Tom Miller for being a great (read: honest) salesperson. I had a few concerns with the car I had finalized, and he made sure all of the concerns were looked into properly. You must go and ask for him if you end up visiting the dealership. 3. They do provide good financing rate. I already had a good rate from my bank, and yet they were able to match that rate. They definitely try to make you feel satisfied and comfortable while buying a car. I am happy with the purchase and the dealership. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a used car in the greater NY area.

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

Yes, where do I start. Do I start with this being the best car buying experience I've ever had? That would be too obvious. But it would be the absolute honest truth. I think that everyone is so used to going to the dealership. Being there for 8 hours (you should get paid for being there you're there so long). Sales people trying to up-sell you on every little thing that you didn't ask for. Just an all around miserable experience. Then you go to carvana.com. You put in exactly what you're looking for. Exactly what you want to pay and presto you have a wonderful car. I believe it took me 45 minutes to do this entire transaction. From first going on the site and finding my 2016 Chervolet Equinox (maybe 15 minutes). To uploading my paperwork (5 minutes). To being approved (5 minutes). To having the car delivered, taking a test drive and signing the papers (20 minutes). It was the best transactions I've done since finding my husband. I've told everyone I know about this. We've watched videos of other people getting their cars. Too funny. Thank you Carvana for this wonderful experience. Can't wait to get my Husband a car now.

I like this car but cant say i love it yet. The problem with it is the engine the interior is awesome. The exterior looks cool. But im afraid a transmisson problem might occur and i read several problems with the valve body needing ti be replaced. Hoping doesnt happen to me.

I just purchased a 2016 Nissan Rogue. Working with Frank and Jay was excellent. I had already been to two other Nissan dealers in the same week, and Harte Nissan offered the best deal, service, and experience by far. From start to finish, I felt respected and like I was not being taken advantage of. Spending a couple of hours with Frank was a great time! They did not hassle me when I wanted to eliminate the VIN etching fee, and their other fees were lower than the largest Nissan dealer in Connecticut by $1700 for the same vehicle. I will definitely be recommending that my friends and family visit West Haven.

My wife, Susan, and I finalized the lease of our 2016 Honda Pilot on April 8, 2016. We turned in our 2013 lease 6 months early. When Susan went to the dealership in late March of this year, she had only planned on "checking out" the 2016 models. When she met with our Sales and Leasing Consultant, Alan Katz, Alan told her that she could turn in the 2013 lease in favor of the 2016 lease. He said that Hoffman would take the 2013 lease 'as is" and that they would make the remaining payments on that lease for us. Susan was very impressed with the 2016 model and Alan did a nice job of explaining everything to my wife. I didn't even get involved until the day we decided to trade leases and I put a down payment (deposit) down on the vehicle. We "closed' on the vehicle about a week later. Time was needed to install a trailer hitch which we needed. Throughout the process, Alan Katz was very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. I even knew before April 8th exactly how much it would cost to purchase a new trailer arm or ball should what I had from the 2013 lease not worked. Alan took us to the car and explained all of the important features to us in great detail. We noticed that one of the tires was under inflated and Alan took us right to the Honda Service area in order to top of the air in the under inflated tire. Throughout the entire leasing process, I was impressed by Alan's focus on detail and thoughtfulness. It was a pleasure to do business with him.. When it came to close on the 2016 lease, Alan put us in touch with the Business Manager, David Ezedine. David was also very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. All bases were covered in great detail. I ended up knowing exactly what I was getting when it came to the in and out Simonize treatment we had previously bought as well as coverage for a series of optional services we also accepted that day relative to paintless "dings" and "scratches" repair, replacement of lost key bobs, tire and wheel damage due to road hazard, 24 hour Roadside Assistance and windshield "chip" repair. I was initially reluctant to pay the extra money, but, David did a very good job of convincing me of the value of the optional plan even if only in terms of the peace of mind we gained from accepting it. I/we also thoroughly enjoyed doing business with David. Finally,, as part of the process, we even had an exit interview of sorts by one of the managers whose name escapes me. Apparently, Honda wanted to make absolutely certain that we were entirely pleased with the leasing process and that the final outcome of that process was in line with our expectations. My wife and I both thought that this was a nice "added touch". All in all we had a great experience with Hoffman Honda and we look forward to at least three years with our 2016 Honda Pilot..

This car is pretty nice. Gets good gas mileage. Plenty of leg room in the front and back seats. Doesn’t have a problem hitting the highway.

The new Maximas are luxurious but practical. 300 HP a lot of fun to drive too with the highest safety standards. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone, younger, family, business or retiree.

I could not believe how easy - and fast - buying a car could be. I decided a used car was for me, so I started looking online and at local dealerships. All I can say is that that experience was enough to put me off the whole process. Dealer add-ons. Limited or no warranty. ???What are you willing to pay???? Enough!!! I saw an ad online for Carvana, which I had never heard of, and thought ???what the heck.??? Such a great find! From the quick and easy search, to no haggle pricing, to easy payment (I was able to pay cash online, but they also offer financing), to a no-risk 7-day return policy AND an additional 100-day warranty on top of that! There was nothing to lose. It took only a few days for delivery - to my home! - and the paperwork was handled in about 5 minutes. They even had a notary show up! They handle the registration, too - no waiting in line at DMV. Bottom line: I love the car, I got it at a good price, and it could not have been easier. Actually, it???s scary how easy it was.
