In the early stages of car shopping for a family-friendly SUV, we stopped by City Auto in Murfreesboro, TN while out there running errands. We were not there anticipating to purchase a vehicle that day. However, things changed.
Steven Ray, the salesman, was the first to greet us. He was not pushy, annoying, or anything like your stereotypical salesman would be in your head. He asked questions and let us talk more than he talked. He was very personable and made our experience outstanding. He provided a thorough answer to ever y question we had. If he didn't know, he made a quick phone call to get the answer we needed. He insisted a test drive in a few different models, just to get an idea of what we were looking for - even though we made it clear we weren't looking to purchase that day. (... I guess that's how they get you)
He walked us through what to expect in the buying process. Gave us little hints to get better pricing and APR.
After the sale, he called us numerous times to ensure that we were happy. A few days after the sale, a few weeks later, then a month or two down the road.
Highly recommend City Auto and especially Steven Ray.
Don’t purchase. Terrible vehicle. Warning.

We purchased our 2014 pathfinder platinum brand new. It was great for the first year but then in year two black smoke billowed from the tailpipe. The dealer said it was because we did not change the oil...that is bs. We had the replace the engine. Next both visors break. Next. The caliber breaks and we lose the ability to use our breaks. This happened on the interstate and luckily we were able to pull over without incident. Finally, we were driving home and the sunroof just exploded while on the highway. It was 10:30 at night and no other vehicle was around us. Glass showered down on me and my family. That was the last straw. This car should not be on the highway. We just traded it in and bought a Toyota. Everything I have said he is true.
Josh Edwards was great. We discussed my wants and need and he adjusted. Josh made sure i was comfortable with my purchase and that was important.

This SUV needed brakes replaced at 25,000miles, Both front window regulators just passed 30,000 miles and the tires replaced at 32,000 miles. Never buying nissan again. Plus it was recalled twice because of the Passenger seat occupancy sensor. The first time it was in for reporgramming they didn't do it correctly so we had to go back in another time.
Marsalous Johnson was a great salesman, and worked on getting the right one for me. All the gentlemen and the ladies at thwork desk were very courtesy and helpful.
Enough room for 7 adults and great gas mileage.

I traded in a 2010 Pathfinder for my 2014 because I started having problems with the 4 wheel drive unit and would've had to pay close to $5,000 to replace. I can get close to 400+ miles per tank and enough room for 7 adults also good towing capacity. Listen this Pathfinder to me is considered a SUV not a truck because of the styling also 4 wheel drive doesn't stay locked to conserve on gas. To sum up my opinion on my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder it's a excellent vehicle with great styling, comfort and gets great gas mileage. I would definitely purchase again.
I both bought and sold a car here recently. My sales associate CARLTON BOWEN was fantastic.
SOLD: They gave me a very fair price on a 2003 Honda CRV with roughly 180K miles. The process was quick and painless. You do not have to buy a car from them to sell a car to them. I had done my homework before and knew what it was worth and I was offered a price higher than Kelly Blue Book.
BUY: Buying a used car was more complicated. It took test driving many and lots of time on their website before I found one that met the very specific details I was looking for. I decided on CarMax because I did have a very specific car in mind that I had not been able to find private seller in the two plus months I'd been looking. Also, my sales associate CARLTON BOWEN was fantastic. He spent roughly a month helping me look at cars making calls to other dealerships and coordinating multiple test drives etc. I know having him as a salesperson made a huge difference. I had looked at other dealerships and was treated only like a wallet from the moment I entered. He worked hard to help me find what I needed in a car and was pleasant and respectful the entire time. Not at all the experience I had at other dealerships. With all of the hidden fees etc other places have, carmax was not more expensive. I was glad not to give my money to sketchy people at another place.
Cheaply made. I hate it!!

I cannot wait to get rid of this cheaply made vehicle. All the plastic things are breaking. It was so cheaply put together with cheap plastic parts. It also has horrible blind spots. I cannot wait to get another car that is not a Nissan!!!
I had not been to this dealership for almost 2 years due to a bad experience...Justin my service advisor was outstanding and handled a recall service to perfection. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable...he also took time to LISTEN. Thanks Justin because of you wwe will now give Ford and this dealership another chance in the future. Yes we have bought 3 vehicles in just under 3 years from this dealership so it's safe to say we will be calling again soon. Thx Justin they need more like you!! Franklin Ford Lincoln

This is one of the best cars I have ever owned. My kids are older now and we just do not need it any more.
Everything was excellent but the total price to fix my car labor was 5 times the price of the parts. Grant it we had the money but just weeks before Christmas we spent almost 900 dollars there goes Christmas but thanks for fixing it in a timely manner.
Working with jeff Williams has been GREAT. He has been so helpful and on top of things with our new van even long after the purchase was finalized. I really appreciate everything the dealership has done for us

I have been in contact but have not actually visited the dealership. The sales rep(S) has been in contact with me and they do have one, possibly two, cars that fit the criteria of what we're looking for.
I saw a car on cars.com that was for sale at Murfreesboro Nissan at 9:00 on a Fri night and emailed to see if it was still available. I got a call from them at 830 the next morning saying it was and I made an appt to come in. The car was exactly what I have been looking for and the price was better than I had seen elsewhere. The salesman Donnie was friendly and knowledgeable, and after I drove it I was ready to buy. I did not feel pressured and was able to get the exact car I wanted for a good price. It was worth the drive to Murfreesboro from Nashville!
Bishoy Rizk is one of the nicest car salesmen I have ever dealt with. He was very genuine and straightforward and was eager to ensure I was comfortable with the truck I selected as well as the terms of the deal. Doug Hammond showed me many accessories available for my truck, but was not pushy at all. Austin Evans was easy going and straightforward when it came to signing papers. It was a very refreshing sales experience. Would absolutely recommend him and Nissan of Cool Springs for your vehicle needs.
