This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I received a loan package via FedEx 2 days later, signed all the paperwork, and sent it back in the pre-paid FedEx envelope they provided. About 3 days later, I started getting emails to schedule delivery. The process only took 9 business days from the moment I made the deposit to the moment I got my vehicle. The vehicle was clean, just as described, and runs great. Now I just need to get a state inspection and add this to my insurance policy, and the tags will be mailed to me in a few weeks. Leased a 2016 Rogue S and for three years the car was flawless. When we turned in the lease, we immediately purchased a 2019 SV model. The lease was a great way to check out whether we liked a car long term. Color is Monarch orange which really stands out in a parking lot of white, black and silver SUVs. Everyone comments on how the nice the color is. This particular one was made in Japan. Couldn't find any imperfection.

I downsized from a Murano. Not as cushy a ride, but knew that was going to be the case. Handles well on the road, has a little pep when you hit the gas, nice improvements to interior over the years; and LOVE the side mirror driving lights when cars are approaching. It makes for a much safer ride for me.

This is the first NEW car that I have purchased in 30 years. I was told by a co-worker that this was a great dealership with a lot of inventory to choose from, he was right. AJ was my sales person. He is one of the nicest people I've met in a long time. He asked me what I wanted, listened to me, then said, come lets look at these. He never tried to over sell me. He knew I was no-nonsense and he was a perfect fit for my needs. No pressure, he kept asking me what I wanted. The finance portion was really easy and I loved the sign my desk forms w/ the computer card to take home and not a thousand pieces of paper. Car buying has come a long way, I was in and out without feeling frustrated and drained of my money and soul!

These were very easy people to work with...easy to get a hold of whether by phone, text, or email. Their response time was fantastic! They gave us a great price on a new car. When we arrived at the facility we were met by friendly faces and were treated well. The finance part of the process went very smoothly. I recommend if you are getting quotes through email or phone, make sure they give you all of their requirements to get the quoted price. Our first quote, which was quite low, came with the requirement of using their financing, which is not a big deal, but we were not told up front and made decisions based on that quote. All in all, a very good company to work with when buying a car.

I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. I hate buying cars. In fact, I hate dealing with major automobile sales, service, and other people of automobile organizations of any type at any time. I had just moved from the Mountain West to NC and needed a new car. We had had my wife's Cadillac serviced at another dealer when we first arrived and paid over $600 for a 60,000 mile service and they didn't even catch, much less replace the torn windshield wiper blade we had. I put off walking into another dealers to look for a new car for 2 months. Finally, I searched online for a car the would fit my personal needs. I settled on an Impala and put the word out online. Offers came in from area dealers. Dreading the interaction I picked Hendrick Southpoint first (it was closest), set up an appointment and went in. Things did not start well, JJ is a Dallas Cowboys fan, I root for the Washington Redskins. To ward off my rising anxiety, I told JJ that I was not looking forward to the interaction and the BS that would come. I said I had walked out of many places in my life because of the hassle of purchasing major items, especially cars. He said, "I understand." I thought, "well, there's BS #1." He offered a test drive right away and afterward we got down to specs and dollars. I told him that I didn't want that car I drove at that price and described what I wanted. It wasn't on the lot. Instead of trying to sell me one on the lot, JJ went looking for the car nearest to my specifications that he could find. We reviewed it on paper going over every detail to make sure it met my desires. Then I gave him a price, he took it to his manager (of course, part of the system I hate) but the manager came out and talked turkey right away. Clearly JJ had told him that I wouldn't hesitate to walk if I thought there was too much BS. He started calling other dealer GM friends of his to find a car that matched as he couldn't find one in the area. He located one in Delaware and traded a truck for it (I could hear the gulp outside his office). The finance guy didn't give me any hassle either -- no this warranty or that support system. When we were through I wasn't even charged a destination fee so I bought the "optional" $199 oil service "plan" as a sign of good will. The one problem was getting the car over Christmas weekend. It took them a few days longer than promised, but it made sense--who wanted to give up their Christmas to drive 400 plus miles to get me a car. JJ kept me posted on things and when I reminded him that Hendricks had my money, car unseen for a week, he found a way to make up for it. When we first saw the car, it was gorgeous, especially the interior, with most of what we wanted and little of what we didn't. Another customer group coming through the show room saw it and literally gasped. They loved the color and design. JJ was true to his word, worked hard to meet my fairly inflexible demands, dealt well with his colleagues and made sure I got what I wanted. Over the week that this purchase activity went on I was receiving calls, texts, and emails from other dealers in the area, but their offers were no where enticing enough to get me to drive over their way. In the end, thanks to JJ and the Hendricks team behind him I actually enjoyed buying the car. I even found an excuse (not enough air in the tires) to go back a week later and say hi to everyone. The service people were as responsive and nice as JJ, plus they didn't root for the Cowboys. Every time I look at the car I smile at the fun it was making the purchase.

I was referred to Texas Direct Auto/Vroom by a good friend and I???m glad I decided to go with them for my car purchase! I initially got Billie as my car sales personnel, but she seemed to be very pushy and just aiming to make quick sale; which is something that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with her for a while I advised I would give her a call back to speak with my financial advisor on proceeding further on this process with Vroom. When I called back I got a different agent that saw in the system that saw I was talking to Billie and advised me that she would give me a call back in 5 mins, well 30 mins passed and I called back upset because I did not hear back from her after she ran my credit and didn???t like the fact I wasn???t trying to put 2500 down. My credit score was excellent I had a 740, but I didn???t have enough credit history she said is the reason why she kept asking me to put so much money down on 23k 24k car. The last time I called upset after not hearing anything from her a gentleman by the name of Shannon Humbles answered and I advised him that I did not want to work with Billie anymore because she made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt like she didn???t personally care about helping me through the process of the purchase. Shannon is an ALLSTAR!! He went over and beyond the call of duty to help me make this purchase!!! 7 days later my vehicle sits in my parking garage and I love it! The process was so easy to purchase, I had to put 1500 which is the standard, instead of 2800 that???s Billie was demanding that I put down! Please go with Vroom! I saw a couple bad reviews and I know every process has its flaws, but I???m here to tell you, they work! They are a very good company and I look forward to making another purchase with them for my girlfriend???s Christmas gift! Thanks Shannon and Vroom!!!!

I really love this little red car. It’s great how the controls are on the steering wheel and anything I need is within reach is plenty of room in the back for bags and packages and plenty of legroom for everyone I love this car.

We were not prepared to have to buy a new vehicle, but our car was totaled in an accident. We had just purchased our first new home and had incurred a lot of expenses. They were willing to work with not only our low credit, but the insurance and gap people, as well to help get us into a car when our rental ran out. Even with our old loan still showing, they were able to show the banks the insurance/gap were paying it off. MANY other dealers weren't willing to work with our situation, but since they are a larger company they were able to still make things happen. We were afraid of needing to uber for an extended length of time and didn't want to throw money down the drain. They were caring enough to take not only our business but to also give us a loaner car until our car was ready. They also drove our car up from another dealer which made the sale. We had our hearts in our old kia sorento (we originally talked with the managers at kia next door), but were able to find something comparable in size and price, with less miles, more warranty and coverage, and a few extra bells and whistles our old car didn't have. After purchasing, they did a full inspection and checked our brakes, they also gave us a week to comment on any scratches/chips/or things not working correctly, that they will fix. On top of that, they were able to work across dealers under "Fred Anderson" to ensure we got the car we wanted/needed in a timely manner so we wouldn't continue to incur out of pocket expenses. They even brought a car from the neighbor store to do a side by side comparison. This whole process from the date of total to the date of purchase was 2 weeks, however working with the Nissan team of Raleigh was a 3 day process due to our situation. We are just thankful they could work with our situation and help us out! Also, due to us getting a car from the fayetteville store, there wasn't room to lessen the price, but they worked with us to keep our payment lower while including protection and gap insurance. Overall, we experienced a rainbow after the storm, and are quite happy with our decision to go with Fred Anderson!

Prior to purchasing the 2018 Rogue, I owned a 2009 Rogue. The older Rouge was very reliable that I decided to upgrade to the 2018 model. When I first sat in the 2018 Rogue, I immediately felt the comfort of it. I loved the looked of the interior design. When I test drove it, I loved how easy it was to drive. I felt the performance of the Rogue was good for my needs. I’ve now have owned my new Rogue five weeks now, and every time I get into it, I know without a doubt it was the best value for my money.

Evidently, Johnson Hyundai has decided as a corporate culture to zag away from the dominate and bully tactics typical of car dealerships and try something completely novel to the car industry??? niceness. Matt and Mark were not only incredibly nice, they were also smart, hardworking, and responsive. After an informative and satisfying test drive (ask Matt about the ???special??? road), I new that I wanted the car. The negotiation process took 15 minutes. Yes, you read that correctly. No haggling. No bullying. No verbal arm wrestling for hours. We got to the price I was happy with in 15 minutes! Unfortunately, they didn???t have the particular color I wanted in stock, and said that they would have to approach other dealerships in the region. I shared with Matt earlier in the process that our only car had died that weekend. After I paid the securing fee for the new out-of-stock car (which later was applied to my downpayment), Matt volunteered a loner car free of charge. The particular color and trim package combo I wanted was tough to find. The JH team contacted several dealerships in the southeast over a week and a half period. Matt kept me updated via texts on a bi-daily basis. Things looked grim for a few days. But the JH team pulled out all the stops* and secured the car from a mostly unwilling dealership in Georgia. When I arrived at the dealership to pick up my new car, they had it waiting for me at the front door, fully detailed with a giant red bow on top. The final deal and paperwork was a breeze with no surprises. I???m now a happy owner of car that has all of the bells and whistles of its German rivals at 2/3rds the cost. If you want to be bullied, abused, and taken advantage of during the car purchase process, I strongly recommend that you avoid Matt, Mark, and the Johnson Hyundai team. *The actual story of how they secured my new car is quite funny and a testament to their smarts and cleverness. However, out of respect for their trade secrets, I can???t share any details. :-)

I being a single mom with 2 kids and bad credit(2 repo's and ALL) came to Matthews Motors on 4/15/17, I had the vehicle in mind I wanted, it was already sold the day before. I opted to buy a 2013 Cadillac XTS a sweet ride with low mileage. However, after 4 days I realized this was NOT the car for myself and kids. I went back today and they were able to put me in a vehicle I wanted, a 2013 Toyota Camry XLE with low mileage 32k to be exact! When I say I CAN'T thank GOD and ALL the staff here, I truly CAN'T. I will FOREVER come here and refer ANYONE I know to do the same! Robert Walker, Mike Fischer, Sonny(I hope I spelled it right) THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart and soul. You were able to give me a SECOND chance to get my credit together AND put me and my children into a car that is JUST RIGHT for US (safe, reliable and practical)! and that I WANTED! I can't PRAISE GOD enough nor ALL the ppl at the dealership! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Great family vehicle!

We LOVE our Rogue! We traded in our Scion tC for a leased 2016 Nissan Rogue SL and fell in love! So many great features! Our lease ended and we chose to purchase a 2018 Rogue SL. We couldn't be more happy! The vehicle is roomy enough for a small family of 4, it's comfortable for long car rides, and we have plenty of room for two medium-sized pitbulls in the cargo area. We did not get the premium package in the 2018 so we are missing the sunroof, but without the sunroof, you have actually have more head room. Compared to the 2016, the 2018 model seems to have more "pick up" in the engine. Our 2016 had the navigation, Bose sound system, heated leather seats, automatic braking and blindspot warning. The 2018 has the above mentioned features as well as an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic high-beam assist headlights, rain sensing windshield wipers, rear liftgate foot feature (whatever that is called), heated steering wheel, remote start and lane departure warning. We honestly couldn't be more any more happy with our purchase and hope to keep this vehicle for years to come, and upgrade to a newer Rogue down the road when the time comes!
