Buying a car is never easy I actually hate dealing with salespeople all they care about is themselves, that was until I came to Autofair Nissan of Chelmsford. I'm not going to lie I'm not the easiest guy to deal with , but the salesman Rithy Poth I worked with went out of his ways to show me the right car for my budget. He explained why this was the car I was looking for, understood my needs and saved me a ton of money in doing so. There wasn't all that back and forth he explained everything in easy to understand terms not the Car Lingo I'm so used to hearing when I go and buy a car somewhere else. This young man is very down to earth and will help you in anyway shape or form. I'll be sending all of my friends and family his way from now on he's my go to guy.
I had a very positive experience with Lionel as my salesperson .He was courteous .friendly and very informative .This is my second Nissan and this second time.around the sales experience was pleasurable thanks to Lionel ..I enjoyed talking with him during the process, also liked the finance manager Rick .
The gm Pete was fantastic great customer service and willing to do as much as you possibly can to help the customer with the right deal with the right car. Angela Adams is the best Shields person I've ever dealt with she's professional and down-to-earth person very comfortable to talk to and will do anything to help to get you into the right car she was so good her and Pete that I brought my mom in and they helped her get a car. If you're looking for a car speak to Angela Adams she is the best sales associate ever met.
Katrina was extremely helpful and easy to work with. I had visited a few other dealerships prior and felt overwhelmed with them. Katrina made the whole experience easy and with no pressure. Thank you so much! Love my new Titan truck.

Tony Harris in service is amazing to work with. I never feel pressured to pay for something I don't need. Said my air filter needed changing, but was upfront and honest that it was something I could do myself for allot less money. Tony is very knowledgeable and always clearly shows me all the things that could be done to my car for service, but breaks it down into "Needs to be taken care of" and "Can wait" or "optional". Always makes sure my car is ready by the time I need to be out of there (to go pick up kiddo from school). Goes the extra mile with little things like helping me take my kids car seat out of my car when I need to switch to a rental. Tony understands that buying a new set of tires is a big expense and I might need to consult with my spouse. Doesn't pressure me to buy the tires from them, just wants me to get a good deal anywhere I can find one. Can't say enough about the entire service department. Super clean and I never mind hanging around in their comfortable lounge area. One day I brought my salad for lunch to each while I was waiting, but i forgot a fork :( The receptionist gave me and extra plastic one that she had brought for lunch so I could still eat my salad. All the little things everyone does here to help the customers adds up to make coming here to buy a car or use the service department a great overall and non-stressful experience. Would highly recommend!
Received 2016 Maxima Brake recall. Called to make appointment on Friday, was able to get vehicle in on Monday morning. Great service again, Received call from Emily before noon that the car was completely checked out and no service was required per the recall. They vacuumed interior (and did a great job). Emily told me that my tires were going to need to be replaced soon which I was unaware of so thank you again Emily. It's always a pleasure going to AutoFair Nissan. Emily and Jim are so welcoming and they always make you feel like you are part of the family. With all the customers that they have, and only going in to see them every 6 months, they know your name and make you feel like you are the only customer they have.
I had test driven a Ford C-Max Energi in 2014 and completely fell in love. I knew that was the next car for me. But unfortunately do to timing and circumstances I was not able to buy one. Still, I knew this would be my next car. Whenever I would have a bad day, I would go on Ford’s website and build the car I wanted with all the options and colors choices I wanted. I even saved one of them I had built in a pdf file to reference when I didn’t have internet connection.
This year when Ford announced they would no longer be producing the C-Max in the US I knew it was time for me get my dream car. I went to a local dealership and got the run around. They said since the car isn’t being produced, they can’t get the car with all the options I wanted. They tried to get me to compromise. I felt uncomfortable and pressured into something I didn’t want to do. I left in tears thinking I would never own the Ford C-Max of my dreams.
Then my boyfriend called and said he found a nearly new one in New Hampshire in the exact color with all the options I wanted. He started making the calls on my behalf. Craig the sales representative was always available and even though the transaction was made across states, made me feel like I was sitting right in front of him. The entire Portsmouth team did their best to answer all my questions. Signing the paperwork was seamless and easy. They even set up delivery from NH to TX. When my car arrived before I thought it would, I was overjoyed and estatic.
Thank you for everything you did to make my dream a reality. You really are the best. I’m a Portsmouth customer for life.
My experience with the sales person Chris was excellent. The finance people however changed the price I agreed to. I signed a paper on the floor, but when the papers were presented to sign the price was much higher. I noticed it and complained. They said there was a ???mistake??? on the previous quote. Well if there was a mistake they should have been open about it. I think it was a bait and switch The paperwork is confusing and they clearly changed the numbers by $6000 between what they agreed to on the floor and what they presented in the office to sign.
The car buying process at Port City Nissan went smoothly.
