While I am not convinced about the vehicle, I will be checking to see what else they have on the lot that meets my needs. The way car shopping/buying should be.
I went to North Berwick Auto Center on Friday, March 3rd to look at a used 2013 Honda CR-V. I spoke with Ryan Smith, who urged me to try out the vehicle, which I did. I told him I was interested, but would make a final decision over the weekend. Never at any time did I feel pressure of any kind to purchase the vehicle. When I decided to purchase the vehicle I contacted Ryan. We agreed on a price and a time when I would pick the vehicle up on Monday. When I picked the vehicle up, it was running and nice and warm, shiny as a brand new vehicle, clean as a whistle. Ryan gave me an overview of some of the features of the vehicle and made sure I knew where the basic features were. I felt my experience with this dealership was very positive and I was very happy about it.
The actual price was twice what was listed on Cars.com They have a bunch of rebates, mandatory financing, accessories they've added, that you didn't ask for and service fees that quickly doubled the price of the car. The cash price was higher that the listed price.
