This is the 5th vehicle I have purchased from Barkley in the last 3-1/2 years. All of which I have purchased from Zach Hval. He is an exceptional salesman and person. Very prompt to respond to my request through CarGurus. Interested in a specific Highlander but Carfax showed previous owner was rental agency and I lost interest. Will consider them again in the future.
I spoke to Mindy W. at the store. I called before my arrival and asked questions about a Mercedes E350, and after talking to Mindy, and have a good rapport with her I decided to call her back and schedule a test drive for later that day. When I arrived at the dealership for my scheduled appointment, I was greeted by staff members welcoming me to the facility and was told he would page her. Mindy came out to greet me and to my surprise, She took me outside to look at the Mercedes, where she already had it pulled up to the building and the AC running as it was about 100* outside. I visited a much larger store in Birmingham before coming to Contemporary Automotive, but I was treated more like my business really mattered to Mindy, and the other part of the team that assisted me. Please go see them if you are in the market for a vehicle, they have so many to look at, you could spend all day there. Thank you Mindy W. for over the top service, and for selling me one of the nicest cars i have ever owned .
I bought a used Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer a couple of days ago from this dealer. I have never met a more friendly staff. The facility is very modern and clean, great technology to ensure a smooth purchase. The managers, salesman and finance manager had me inspect the vehicle thoroughly, didn't rush anything, and I was out in approximately two hours. The finance manager really jumped through her hoops to get me the best finance deal. The salesman was very nice, calm and helpful for the process. They printed out the Carfax, and hid nothing. Only the usual small scratches from wear and tear was the only thing wrong, and acceptable. I'd definitely buy from Tuscaloosa Toyota again.
I can’t speak highly enough about Contemporary Automotive and the crew there! The process of purchasing a car was made easy and they did everything they could to serve me and make the process seamless. Curtis my sales man was an exceedingly friendly and great guy to work with! The car I purchased had a missing SD card for navigation as well as a broken fog light that they immediately fixed and replaced before I took the car home. The car was clean and in pristine condition. I highly recommend Contemporary Auto for your next vehicle purchase!
We had a very pleasant experience! Our sales associate Mindy was terrific! We knew what car we were interested in from seeing it online and called them up and Mindy had it waiting for us out front by the time we got there. We were able to go for a test drive, inspect it inside and out right away and when I asked to see the carfax info on it Mindy had that ready for me almost immediately. We also had a monthly amount that we wanted to stay within on our payments and they did very well with that - but I'm sure it did help that we have a really good credit score. They did and will go over all of the coverage that they recommend you get. So if you can, do it!
I brought my car to this dealership because of the bad experience that I had at Riverchase Kia and I even explained the problem I had with the other dealership to the service advisors (which are nice by the way). When I dropped my car off to JJ Kia ALL the bells and whistles worked. The only reason I had it in there was to fix a rattle in the front, the recall and check the airbag light. I pick it up, drive home and the cruise control does not work and the Trip button is stuck on trip A and doesn't show the miles per gallon. This may sound "petty" to you but if it was working when I brought it in then I expect these things to be working when I leave. If I had those problems coming into your dealership I would have pointed them out.
