Am in disbelief every week at the Gas Pumps. Thou a big truck, mileage per gallons are 18 +. Last week it was 22.8. This week 19.78.

On 8.6.25, I had my 2016 Toyota 4Runner (purchased new on 8.6.16 and now nine years ago driven with 362,500 miles on the odometer) serviced at Andy Mohr Toyota in Avon, Indiana. I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

Reviewed in 2025. I bought this 2010 in 2013 and mileage is now almost 250k with only a few wear and tear issues AFTER 200k miles! (starter, master cylinder and TPMS sensors, all lasted much longer than they are predicted to last). I read several issues about acceleration, but this is a limited therefor it has a V6 and I never have issues with acceleration (0-60 in a little over 7 seconds). The backup camera is in the mirror which is small but I like that hidden feature... I also like the proximity sensor beeping. This SUV has been great for commuting or long trips, always reliable and fun to drive.

I have a 2021 SEL. No problems thus far with 18,000 miles. The seats are the most comfy of any vehicle I’ve had. It has the fake leather ones. It’s all I need. I average 29 mpg but mostly drive in town.

My 2010 Escape 3.0, 6 spd auto has broken all the rules of cost of ownership. It just doesn't break and I tow way over the rated 3,500 lbs and that's cross country by the way, often on gravel or dirt roads. It has 281,000 miles of tough service still with orig spark plugs, struts and rear shocks. Alignment stays on track remarkably well allowing the Michelin original spec tires to last almost 100k miles per cycle with even wear. Only ever used Motorcraft factory oil, period, and the correct Mercon trans fluid. I change oil at 5k, have changed trans fluid 3 times. 2nd windshield so far. Wiper blades renewed once due again. Great Volvo designed platform, long lasting, heavy duty suspension components have surprised me. Burns no oil, great gas mileage still at about 26mpg hwy @ 281k miles, not towing though of course. Trans always shifted a little funny and clunky same as from brand new but won't quit even made to pull heavy trailers a lot of its life. Tire pressure light has been on for 100k miles or so, who cares I check the pressure. Check engine light is on for some gas tank evap sensor whatever thingy that affects nothing since 150k miles ago, so what, I know it has nothing to do with anything that can damage the drivetrain or anything else so I've ignored it for years, will never spend a penny to address that and drive it every day,

Owned my 1012 Escape LTD AWD for 14 years. No major problems whatsoever. It has towed household items in the large UHaul trailer with ease. It has hauled home construction items in the back and on top. It has done long road trips. And, with all that, has averaged over 23 MPG! Faithful Long Term Vehicle...Many Miles to Go!

Will never go anywhere else. I’ve had it with “bait and switch” at new car dealerships, where you go into a shop and all the cars are at least $10k more than advertised and still have hidden fees. Only CarMax offers full refunds for like 10 days after purchase. Jon Kay and Cua Thow provided great customer service for me at the Carmel store. I regret that I didn’t get the salesman’s name at Greenwood store (I remember he said he was an EMT). He was also fantastic and helped me find the truck in Carmel that I wanted. Everyone was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. It is hard to believe that you can get such great service from people not working for commission. My new truck has less than $6k miles, looks brand new and was a fair reasonable price.

Good on gas and a comfortable ride. Drive it to West Virginia and back home no problem. I like it a lot definitely recommend it for people who travel for work and schoool

My 94 year old father-in-law sold his 2002 van to CarMax today. The experience was positive from start to finish. Every step of the way was accurately described and timely. And Denidra, who handled the sales paperwork may have been an actual angel. She treated my F-I-L with the utmost courtesy and respect. Due to his mobility issues Denidra went out to the vehicle in the parking lot to handle the required paperwork and then went back out to present the check. Bought in 2023 used with 30k miles, after driving it for six months it had become my favorite car, it’s smooth, I avg 27mpg in town driving, 33 highway. They don’t have tons of street lighting here and I hit a curb one evening and enjoyed discovering a spare tire I could switch myself until going to tire store next day.

The vehicle is good in all categories. Which makes it great overall value. There are only 2 things I do not like. The Black card that does not consistently work to unlock the driver side door. The light option under the rear tailgate to unlock trunk with your foot. Otherwise I would of rated this SUV a 5 star vehicle.

I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

Dennis is great! When I bought a 2015 MDX 4 mos ago. Then, drove it 11k mis, went in and decided I wanted to buy a 2020 Used certified MDX. Initially my trade value wasn't going to make it possible. I've owed the rogue SV for some 9 months and I'm very pleased with the ride, performance and reliability . Prior to me purchased this car I rented a bunch of competitors to narrow down my choice. The Rogue has alot of features that really come in handy. It's a very thought out vehicle. On long highway trips it holds the road very steadily at 90 MPH and my gas consumption was in the low 40's. For the money to me it's the best value out there
