Originally went to carmax to purchase my first new car, went there after going onto their online pre qualification generator and payment generator. When I arrived at carmax the payments were 10x higher than originally stated and their service was overall disappointing. Frustrated I went back home and got online and found the same vehicle at AutoNation and it was 4 thousand dollars cheaper than carmax sent in an inquiry and within 5 mins I received a call from AutoNation , Tom the salesman was very helpful and informative over the phone and got me approved for a loan in minutes he also worked with me and got my monthly payments lowered to what I felt comfortable paying. Overall the best experience I’ve had at a dealership, I’ve visted many on my path to purchasing a new car and they’ve all been pushy except for AutoNation.
Service person said I needed synthetic oil but I later checked with my regular service tech and he checked previous oil changes and I never had synthetic oil so he told the guy changing the oil to NOT use synthetic oil and he said he wouldn’t. After I got home I realized I had been charged for synthetic oil. Not happy about that. You couldn’t tell from the invoice but the charge was higher.
It’s a great deal with the price of the vehicles I’m just kind of iffy in regards the location for maintenance and repairs I’m still looking to buy a vehicle and I think I should be getting it in the next two months
I live in Stockton and got denied for a New Car. They wanted a big down payment and wanted me to jump through a lot of unnecessary requirements. My son referred me to Folsom Dodge. I filled out my application online and was pre-approved quickly! Chris Hurd did a wonderful job with getting me approved and providing me with a great car selection. Charles Townsend from Finance was professional and explained the process well. I recommend that you try Folsom Dodge first! Stockton Dealerships are a joke!
A real quality experience. From the start we were not "hunted" as soon as we arrived on the lot. After a brief check to see if they had the model I wanted ( white Rebel) we approached the main building and were met by Daniel L. He was very honest with his answers about vehicle specs and would say he did not know for sure but would get the right answer for us. After the usual rocky start to the paperwork/negotiation portion of buying a car we soon settled on price, options, trade-in value etc. I think this the quickest I have finished the entire process and driven off with a new car. We plan on returning here when we buy a new car for my wife.
