Service Wonderful but Salesman Not Willing to Leave Office

Jared checked me in and was helpful but Jim made sure I was taken care of. Jim is always so wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful I can't believe he isn't running the service department by now. He makes sure you know exactly what they are going to to to your vehicle and keeps you updated throughout the process. Jim is an amazing addition to your service team and I hope that the other service advisors learn from him. While I was waiting on my vehicle I decided to walk the lot and see if there were any vehicles that interested me since I have been thinking about trading in my car for a newer model. I had 3 seperate salesman walk right by me on the lot without even a head knod. I was somewhat shocked considering that you generally can't step foot onto a car lot without at least 2 people asking you if they can help you with anything. So I headed over to the new car side of the lot and same thing. Not-a-one salesman came out from his cozy office to see if I might need anything. When I came back inside a lot of the new care salesman were in the same office having a very important conversation about a social media interaction. After a bit more waiting I decided to take a second look at the 2014 Acura you had on site. I walked out to the car again, circled it a couple times, called my significant other to get his opinion and again was ignored. I just don't know what to say about that. Dave Smith Service does such an excellent job it is hard for me to believe that Sales isn't in the same league as Service, so I will assume that either I didn't look like I could afford a car so I wasn't worth talking to or maybe just maybe Sales was having a rough day.
