Being from out of state I had reservations as to how I would be treated once the deal was made and paid for. However: I quickly learned that the dealer was up front, repaired what they said they would, and made the transaction and shipping very smooth. A particular thanks to Rob Venlet, your help and honesty is greatly appreciated! Robert F. Brown Clearfield, Pa.
There's a Reason This 900 Style is Named Classic

I will start by sharing our family began its Saab history in 1979 with a 3-door 900 Turbo. 9 Saab's and 34-yrs later we have 5, and a demo 9-4x. The remaining 3 include a 1999 9-5 driven summers and having under 33k mi, a very special 1993 classic 3-door black 900T with tan interior which has less than 500 mi. I plan to get up the nerve to take her out, and then I worry about it getting hit, so I continue to have it serviced, and it and its siblings all live in a temp controled storage. We have a 1985 & 1988 900 SPG, both with less than 50k mi, and my 1st new 9000 CSE from 1995, which was traded and became dealers service loaner, then when learning they were going to retire and sell, I bought her back, had her rebuilt & all body work, rust from Northeast Winters repaired, and now drive on and off in summer month. I do have a 1989 900 T sdn and a 1987 9000T that I drive in the winters when I am worried that our 4WD may not make it, I fire up the white, orig color 9000 I drive year around. We do have a 2012 Volvo XC90 AWD that is my wife's retirement gift to self, and I thank my parents for their gift of driving one of the worlds most special car's ever sold. I continue to ponder the purchase of a 2011 9-5, but remain focused on our 900's.

Helpful and Knowledgeable!

I initially brought my car in for repairs. They helped me understand what was wrong with the car and what the best way to handle the repair was. I was so worried about how much it will cost or if it is worth repairing it, and they helped me find the best solution for my situation. Their repair department took care of me and took into consideration the fact that I had no other vehicle to go to work. They even picked me up from the house once the car was ready for pick up. After some time I was ready to get another vehicle and upgrade. Again they Pete Kitt's was very helpful in trying to understand what I truly need as far as vehicle, and what the best option was for me. I tried a few of their vehicles and they all seemed nice to me, so it was hard for me to decide. It took me some time to figure it out and I felt no pressure from them into hurrying up to buy it regardless if I like it or not. They made sure I liked and felt comfortable with the car I chose. Their department handled the documents and plates and all very smoothly, which helped make the experience pleasant. I am looking forward to buying another car from them soon, and I am sure to recommend them to friends and family!
A SAAB STORY! Faulty electrical system

It was a dream to drive when it wasn’t in the shop!! Faulty electrical system was a huge problem frequently. Eventually sold it because it was so unreliable. Everyone I knew who owned a SAAB joked about it being a ’SOB story!!’

Thank you for contacting me through Classic Auto Sales. Over the past 10 years it has been both a pleasure and a privilege to serve local, national, and international buyers and sellers of classic and collectible cars. Over 75% or my clientele have become referrals, repeat customers, and above all, friends. I realize I sell wants, not needs, and am blessed to have formed so many invaluable relationships through this business over the years. Unfortunately, a cancer diagnosis has forced me to step away from Classic for the time being, but I look forward to staying connected and being further assistance once healed. Until then, thank you for your loyal business and peace be with you and yours. Bob
A fun car to drive with the top down

I picked up this Saab for a paultry $300 but it had been off the road for a few years, and was parked under a pine tree. It only had 115,000 miles but was banged up pretty good and reverse was nonexistent ( manual trans). I bought a parts car for another $300 and made one pretty good one from the two. Had to replace tranny, repair tonneau cover motor, repair heater fan wiring, intermittent electrical issues are still a problem but it's great in the snow. If you can work on cars, get a Saab. Otherwise stay away, they will drain you dry.

Car totaled in car accident and needed car really fast. Drove about 2 hours to Fuelin Fine Auto after seeing their inventory online. Spoke to Frank, the gentleman onsite, about the car I was interested in and was able to take it for a test drive. There was no pressure in making decision and they were more than accommodating when I wanted to look at some other cars. The buying process was quick and they even had someone who came to the office to do the title transfer and paperwork so I didn't have to personally go to DMV. New title came in mail within 7-10 days. I would definitely do business with them again.
V6 2.5L 5 Speed Manual Convertible
by Grif from SLC, Utah

I bought my SAAB with 84K miles on it 5 years ago. I am the second owner. I always wanted a Blue Convertible SAAB with a V6 & a 5 Speed Manual - but could not afford it. 20 years later, I bought it for #3,000. This SAAB model is based off of a European GM. In fact most parts are still in production. I put a brand new Opel V6 2.6L motor into it (use the original oil pan). I have a 1991 3 door SAAB as well, but I have found the GM SAAB's to be much better built. One beef- If your convertible top breaks, you will need to spend some money to fix it as the car does not have a manual over ride that works properly (the manual over ride leaves a gap in the rear window seal of 10 inches). I would not recommend a Turbo, but if you want one, you must know what you are getting yourself into. A Non-Turbo 4 cylinder also works great.

I've been to 7 other dealership and decided to purchase from this one. I did a lot of research before buying. Based on price, vs miles, and cleanliness of the car. Prestige Motor Works was the winner!

I bought my Saab 900SE 3 years ago and it's been a great car. The moment you sit in the car and realize the ignition is down by the cup holder you know you've found a special car. Chances are you aren't going to see many others during your commute, exclusivity was a factor in my purchase decision. I have the V6 version which sounds pretty good, yet a little underpowered for how loud it can be at high revs, the engine being at 170hp not considering age factors. Yet the car isn't about how fast it is, it's about enjoying the ride. For a 1995, you get auto climate, heated leather, a display that tells you what the temperature is outside, what your fuel economy is and how many miles you have left in your tank, unheard of features to find while shopping for a car that old. The car comfortably fits 4 and has a trunk bigger than any four door I've ever seen by far, on top of that the rear seats fold down, accommodating at one point 3 mountain bikes. Overall I'd strongly recommend this car to someone who's looking for luxury on a budget, with that unmistakable Saab uniqueness.

The car met all my MidWest needs with heated seats, plenty of head room and leg room. I enjoyed the 3 door model in which the back seat lays flat allowing for a full sized mattress. The average lifespan for this model when well cared for is: 18 years. Mine proved just that and neared 200,000 miles.

Beautiful Restored 1993 Saab Classic Convertible Fast - Fast - Fast. It's better to buy a restored classic, or you're ending up with an expensive project car. Beware our any classic car advertised as all original, that means you're going to have to do a lot of work etc.
