I own a 23' Hyundai Elantra Limited, it has 37,000 miles on it. For the Elantra being the smallest sedan that Hyundai makes, I have been surprised by this car. My 2 previous cars were a Sonata Sport and a Sonata Limited. Pros: comfortable ride - I drive 60+ miles daily to work and I have no complaints about the ride of this car. Sound System: This features Bose speakers, as it is a Limited model. For a factory sound system, it sounds very good. Fuel Mileage: I get between 35 - 37 MPG with some of my daily drive being in stop and go traffic. Maintenance: the only things I have had to do were the normal oil changes, filter changes, and I have replaced the tires. Cool feature is the BlueLink phone app so you can remotely lock, unlock, start the engine to cool down or warm up the interior of the car Cons: hyundai took away the ability to save music to the car stereo and replaced the feature with "nature sounds" Homelink garage door opener was not an option in the Elantra Limited. I would recommend this car to someone that has a limited budget and is looking for a car that is fun to drive and has been reliable.

Discovered my "next" car on the Autohaus website - 5 1/2 hours away from home. Reached out to inquire about its availability and Hernan Diaz-Egg responded quickly. Hernan then work with me over the phone, primarily via text, to finalize the deal. They took my deposit while I was on route to the dealership. I explained to Hernan that I would like to be in and out of the dealership quickly as we had a long ride back home. He immediately began working with the Finance Manager, Laurie Pearson and when I arrived 97% of all that had to be done was done. I was in and out of the dealership within an hour. I'm totally satisfied with my camry. It's the most advanced automobile I've ever driven.I commute 50 miles per day round trip and I get on average 53 miles per gallon. The traffic assist feature is my most used as I'm always in bumper to bumper traffic, this is when the camry hybrid shines best as it makes its own electricity. I've never owned a Toyota before. I traded my malibu for it & have never looked back.

This is my fourth Malibu, first one was a 2004 Maxx, second one was a 2017 Malibu LS, third one was a 2022 LS and now I have a 2024 RS, all four have been good cars with excellent fuel economy and space inside, maybe not as refined as some Japanese models but great cars regardless, give one a try....

I love the fact that it is self-charging. That was a huge factor in my decision. The car if comfortable for me but my taller husband finds it a bit small and confining. It has great pickup and I have saved a lot of time and money by not having to fill up with gas so often. The one thing I am worried about it the quality of the tires. They are low-profile tires, filled with nitrogen and the vehicle does not come with a spare. This put us in a hazardous situation when one tire blew out on I-95. Without a spare, we had to get towed to the nearest dealership in Virginia. I wish I could replace all the tires with regular ones, but that is not possible with this make and model.

My service experience was overall good, but with some delays. There was also some confusion on the service team?s end regarding my warranty, but they were able to figure it out.

Leasing this car. Expected to wait a couple of months but received a notification that a car matching my specifications would be available the next week. The car met most of my requirements. The price of the lease was considerably more than I expected to pay but I agreed to the terms. Two months after taking possession of the vehicle, the brake actuator failed and I lost use of the vehicle for two weeks. Of course, the repair of the brake actuator was under warranty! The miles per gallon are what I have come to expect from a Toyota Corolla - better than 40 mpg on the freeway, a little less on surface streets. I replaced the standard interior rear view mirror with the one that has a built in Universal garage door opener because there was not a convenient place to mount the garage door opener that I had used with two previous Toyota Corolla leases. The thing I like about this 2022 Toyota Corolla: good gas mileage, bright headlights, good interior space. Things I do not like: cheap plastic rear trunk wing that broke in drive through car wash, black out lettering that standout on the greyish body color, unlit driver side lock/unlock buttons that are hard to locate in the dark when getting out of the car.

Purchased this car used in 2023. Right from the start had issues with the A/C compressor. It went out and I had it replaced with a used one to save a bit and it immediately went out again after a week. Mistakenly, I had an another used compressor put in and it proceeded to essentially blow up and damage my battery and belts. I guess there is an issue with the part for this model year. Otherwise I have not had any crazy issues other than regular maintenance costs. I absolutely love this car for its storage ability. It's small enough to handle city driving and small parking spots, but large enough to fit everything you need to carry. I fit all of my furniture and belongings in this car when moving. As for comfort, the heated seats are a great feature, however, I do find the seats gets quite uncomfortable after driving for more than a few hours. I drive this car back and forth to work daily and have no problem with its performance. Gets pretty good gas mileage for mostly city trips (24mpg). You can feel each and every bump that this car goes over, but it's not anything unbearable.

He ended up changing our mind from a new car to buying a car from Carmax. We bought a 2016 Subaru Forester. It had everything I wanted and more affordable. It also had very low mileage. the 2012 Hyundai Sonata is a smooth comfortable car with a potential flaw that Hyundai has, in my opinion, addressed adequately. First the Pros: It is stylish in both the interior as well as exterior design. It is comfortable, even for me at 6'3" and is not tiring for extended periods on the highway. The fuel economy is good averaging for me about 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. The engine has reasonable power when needed and is generally smooth. The cons are that the 4-cylinder Theta-II engine that the Sonata Uses, (as well as the Santa Fe and Kia Optima and Sorento) has a known flaw that causes the #4 cylinder connecting rod bearing to wear out prematurely causing engine failure. Hyundai has recently extended the Engine Warranty to a lifetime warranty on these engines and that includes if you bought the car used. I think this is a reasonable response. My Sonata suffered this exact failure 5 months ago at 164,000 miles and the engine was replaced with no pushback. The car carried an original 100K mile warranty which is still considered industry leading so, legally, any car over 100K miles Hyundai and Kia could have stuck to their original warranty agreement and taken no action. But that is not what they are doing. One of the reasons I gave Korean cars a try several years ago was the lack of response I got on a Japanese brand known for their high quality that also had a known failure point but took no action after the warranty expired. Because of Hyundai's ultimate response I still highly recommend the car. if you have a higher mileage Sonata, my advice would be sure you have some sort of roadside assistance, so in case you experience this same failure, you will not be left stranded. The good news is that in the rare instance you experience this issue, you should receive a new engine.

The car is almost perfect except for: The build quality isn’t what I remember from prior Hondas. Exterior fit and finish leave much to be desired. The extensive use of piano black inside and out. Scratches and swirls galore.

The Malibu is a fine car. The 1.5T engine is adequate but not much more than that. It also is unrefined and groans and grumbles. You can get around town relatively well and merge onto the highway but may want to leave space for passing trucks on two lane roads. The trunk is massive and is great for trips. Fuel economy is also stellar. We typically get 500 miles on a tank on road trips. The interior is quiet for the price of the vehicle. The materials on the other hand are sub par. Cheap plastics and cloth. To be fair it is a car that had a sticker of 28k. We have put just under 7,000 miles on the car and have had no reliability concerns. The sound system however is one of the worst I have heard. The sound really only comes out of the tweeters and the system is criminally underpowered. The rear leg room is fantastic and the overall ride and handling are good. The handling is the main redeeming quality of the way the car drives. I haven't pushed it hard but under quicker than normal steering on back roads it does compose itself with not too much body roll. The steering is tight and responsive. Overall I think this is a good car for someone not concerned about all of the newest bells and whistles and wants a sedan they can get a great deal on at the dealership. I have confidence that this will not have any major issues until around 130k miles.
